Jstreeter1978Jstreeter1978Excellent podcast on urban themes, with a lot for train nerds (obviously by far the most civilized mode of transport).

CallMeTheBeesA FavoriteI look forward to listening to Skylines every week, and am digging into the back catalogue now. I find the deep dives into urbanism, politics, and policy to be very interesting and I always learn something new. Plus, I'm a dork for public transport. And I love how genuinely funny the commentary and discussions can be, and the sillier episodes are some of my favorites.

Cavell26Terrific and InsightfulSkylines is very insightful and interesting, bringing together thoughtful ideas on public policy and transit, with an array of guests who help flesh out the larger picture of how transit fits into our daily life and the political landscape. As an expat, it's terrific for me to keep informed on key issues and topics back home in an enjoyable and engaging format. But while the focus is often specific, local issues in the UK, the podcast frequently disucsses broader, global topics, and really teaches you a lot about similar issues across the global. Highly recommended.

Tom RockettReview update - from 3 to 4It's been almost 30 episodes since my first review (Oct 20, 2016) and I'm happy to report the audio quality that plagued early episodes has improved greatly. The content in general has remained about the same - recommend for those interested in transit, public policy, urbanism, the built environment, infrastructure, U.K. politics, etc

LymanrstoneFilling a valuable nicheGlad to have a good urbanism podcast. Their view is sometimes a bit unrefined (like the painful discussion of US-New York political animosity), but that as often as not seems to be the guests' doing as the hosts. The hosts do a good job steering discussion and engaging listeners in topics you wouldn't expect to find fascinating. The sound quality is good. Still undecided if I like the constant background music and accompanying feeling of intensity. It's not bad, just not what I'm used to in most Podcasts, so takes adjustment.
