    Great job
Too bad it only goes back to 2017

    Very funny
This is a funny show, but if it had Brother Matt all the way through all of shows, it would have been better. Otherwise a good show.

    Brilliant While it Lasted
Absolutely fantastic, and worth checking out. It exists with a sort of timelessness, all of the posted “confessions” are hilarious, and well deserving of your time. Once you listen to them all however, don’t go expecting any more.

    Laughter is the best medicine!
I came across this podcast accidentally on a recommendation and I am so glad I did. I cannot stop listening. Simon Mayo hosts with Bobbie and Jo. They read listener confessions and then decide whether to forgive or not forgive. Frankly, I cannot do it justice in my subscription. Just listen. All three of them are hilarious and have great chemistry on air. It’s guaranteed laughter and enjoyment. There is also a radio show on BBC 2, which I cannot listen to, unfortunately, being in the U.S. Just subscribe and give it a listen. You will not be sorry! Update: I edited my review because Matt is no longer on the show. He was a favorite of mine and his laugh was infectious. I really can’t believe that they took him out. He is greatly missed. However, I still give the show five stars because it is so good despite it. I sincerely urge you to listen to the podcast. I’m not going to tell you to subscribe because if you listen to one episode you'll be hooked and subscribing on your own. Jenn Powell

    ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I came across this Podcast by complete accident and am now addicted. It’s tears-streaming funny, clever and charming all in one. It makes me happy and distracts me from the fact that Trump is President which I am so thankful for. 🙌🏽🙌🏽👍👍

Hello Simon and Crew. Really miss the old show format and Confessions Have tried listening to the new version and frankly cannot understand why the BBC would take a show that everyone appears to love and screw it up I wish Brother Matt and Sister Bobby had their own show. Michael.

    Listened for Years!!!!
Loved the podcast, still enjoy it but it’s just not the same with Jo. I miss Matt on it, I feel he has way more passion in his voice when deciding whether or not to forgive and I don’t look forward to the podcast like I used to. He was funny!!! Should have kept the old crew!!!!!! I’m pretty sure they know that but hey.

    Overall funny, but.....
I miss Matt. As an American listening I was absolutely confused when all of a sudden the name changed from “Simon Mayo’s Confessions” to the current title. Matt’s laugh is greatly missed. I feel like the show is lacking something now. Jo is fine, but Matt’s insane laughter (and lack of morals) was better for the podcast format.

    BBC destroyed the show
I stopped listening after the show was "revamped" (destroyed). I mean stopped all BBC Radio 2 listening. So mad...even these podcasts don't help. They only make me sad because of what has been done and how they staff were treated. Don't even try the files with Jo. She should have stayed on her program which I listened to as well.

    Was entertaining, not anymore
The new shake up at BBC radio2 with the addition of Jo Whiley and the loss of Matt has been a disaster. I can't listen anymore. Simon and Jo don't seem to be in the same room. Her voice and seeming lack of a sense of humour are a disaster for my once favorite podcast. The BBC needs to save this show and go back to the old format. BRING BACK MATT!

    Matt episodes best
Been a regular listener for a long time both in the Uk and now in the US. Very disappointed with the changes to the team - it’s not the same without Matt. I have decided to start from the beginning of the available episodes back to 2017 to prolong my enjoyment of the original team with Matt. Maybe by the time I reach the more recent episodes the BBC will realise their error and reinstate Matt to the team to ensure the high quality comedic nature we have come to expect from the confessions.

    Great Podcast, but where’s Matt?
I love this podcast. It’s very entertaining. I’ve been listening for a couple of years. I subscribe and the episodes never pile up because I always listen right away when they are posted. I’m an American so listening live each day isn’t an option, Simon. However, it has suffered the last few weeks because one of the funniest aspects of the show, the hilarious ramblings of Matt (the sports guy), is missing. I hope he’ll be returning soon. The show isn’t as good without him.

    Too freaking funny
God bless Great Britain for the ultimate in humor. So great to have found a podcast I can recommend to my 14 year old too. Even she finds it hilarious.

    Funny British Radio in America
My wife and I really enjoy listening to Simon Mayo’s Confessions podcast here in the United States of America. We have the episodes automatically downloaded from rTunes. Before the panel delivers their verdicts, we discuss whether or not we would forgive. Most of the time we do but not always. We usually don’t know how Matt will decide unless it is revealed that someone in the story is rich. Then we know that his verdict will be against the rich person. Bobbie is pleasant and Simon is a fair moderator. My wife and I especially get a kick out of Simon’s various accents and his descriptions of stories that did not make it on the air. Funny stuff. Keep it up. 5 Stars!

    The best
Five stars to you Simon Mayo and to your jestful jurors, all the way from Ohio, in the good old USA.

    The Cleverest Podcast Available
Simon and his team are brilliant. They take wonderful stories and make them falling down funny. I have become quite a disruption at work because when I am listening to these stories I start laughing and can't stop. I wish I could listen to the daily radio show.

Don't be left out! 5 stars because they don't make 6!
There is nothing better. Walking, working in the yard, taking a flight...I'll forgo a conversation with my spouse and even my children to listen to this podcast. For Americans that still think of Monty Python as the best that England has to offer, I assure you the comedy stage has evolved. This is the bit of England I make sure to inject into my life every week. There is no podcast better. None! 5 Stars on R-tunes!

    Top rating!
Simon and his fellow Dasterdly Denizens of Dispensation brighten up a dull week like a firework exploding over the Thames on New Years Eve!

    A brilliant gem
A huge debt of gratitude to our cousins across the pond for lifting the spirits of we downtrodden yanks. I am preaching the gospel to all in earshot of this wonderful look into the debauchery that is us all. Thank you to Father Simon and his clerics for sharing these wonderful stories with us.

    Glorious.
I remember listening to Simon Mayo’s Confessions on the morning school bus many years ago, and am thrilled to find this podcast.

    I confess that I'm addicted!!
Why did I wait so long to begin listening to the Confessions podcast?! All of those horrifyingly wonderful stories " lost forever, like tears in rain" ( yes, I'm a long term Wittertainment fan, as well). I finally put on my first episode whilst cleaning the gutters, and a few minutes in, I knew that I was hooked for life. I'm forever grateful that at least the Crypt has been resurrecting Classic Confessions, so that we novices can catch up a bit. I listen every week at least twice, once by myself and once when I replay it for my family over the course of a couple evenings, though I've also taken to listening to the show live as it airs on BBC radio 2. Thank you Simon & Co. Hopefully, one day, I will do something silly enough to get myself on the show.

    Couldn't live without it!
The best part of the week is when the new podcast is available. I listen and re-listen all week to the hilarious foibles of humanity, Brother Matthew's explosive laughter, Sister Bobbie's kind but firm analyses, and Father Simon's reassuring voice.

The more I listen to this podcast the more I love it. My husband and I agree it is now our preferred drive time entertainment. It is a wonderful antidote to world and US news and a happy reminder that the ordinary world can be hilarious and that people are basically good. Thank you to Simon and the Cadre of Conscience.

A highlight of my week for years!
The new Confessions podcast is better than ever. Simon Mayo's Confessions has been a weekly staple in my house for years, and the new format has been a delightful surprise. Extra bits with Sister Bobbi and Brother Matt, especially "the ones that didn't get through" and "Flashback" confessions are gems. Guaranteed to brighten your week.

    A classic
Been listening this on the radio for years, and I'm glad I found it here when I made the transition to podcasts over radio. Fun, easy listening show, although I'm docking points for the new hot pink track art. Red, yellow, black, and neon pink weren't meant to go together in that way.

    Fantastic Show
Never dull, always entertaining. Subscribe and be amused.

    Love it
Look forward to it each week, loved Simon Mayo's years ago in the U.K. And now listening to this is the US

    Love the new format!
It's hard to imagine this enduring podcast reaching an even higher level of quality, but it does. The added production is tops. The commentary from the team is fun. And the classic confession is terrific. Best podcast on my weekly list of shows to hear.
  • Englishman75
    Long time listener
For years the format has stayed the same and I think we all know most of the stories are fake or at least embellished for dramatic purposes but as off August 2017 the format has changed, even subtle ones can be off putting, instead of the corny radio 2 bumpers (intro) we get some woman that sounds like bubble from ab-fab. The show now sounds like a re-run compilation. I get it after nearly 30 years of the same gig it's a bit old hat and perhaps re-runs is all that's left but still this change is disappointing.

    Super Funny!
This show is excellent and informative as well. You can learn a lot from a dummy as the saying goes.
  • Loves to laugh!
    Absolutely Fantastic!!!
I randomly ran across this podcast and it is now one of my new all time favs! Super fun concept, great stories, wonderful mix of hosts. The banter between them is smart; they actually address the real ramifications of the various indiscretions, but they don't take themselves too seriously. LOVE LOVE LOVE! Is there any way to find more episodes? Keep up the great work, guys! Top notch podcast!!

    Thoroughly Entertaining
Simon Mayo is the best radio host in the English speaking world. He's smart, classy, and very, very funny. Confessions is a pretty straightforward idea -- listeners send in embarassing stories about past misdmeanors, seeking absolution from "Father Simon" and his cohorts -- but it's perfectly executed. The Confessions podcast is a welcome addition to my iPod!
