"Now I’m a grown up… do I have to get married? Do I have to scrimp and save?? Do I have to host a dinner party??? GrownUpLand poses the most frustrating questions. Luckily, Sophie Duker, Heidi Regan and Ned Sedgwick are here to guide you through the bewildering pursuit of adulthood. Through stupid challenges, useful facts and personal stories of rich victory and miserable failure, your guides will ensure you don’t feel alone in your hopeless endeavour to be a legit grown up. Plus, every week a special guest candidly shares their experiences, from failed dates and drunken mistakes to moments of clarity and pet hates. And the very handsome Steve Ali, a refugee from Syria now a writer and silversmith in the UK, helps to put a listener’s dilemma into perspective. Co-created by Deborah Frances-White for The Spontaneity Shop and BBC Radio 4. Produced by Al Riddell."

    Great podcast...awful music
Fun, light-hearted podcast. As a British expat, I find the humour comforting. Just needs a different theme song...the current one is absolutely awful. It’s played not just at the beginning and end, which would be tolerable, but intermittently throughout. Not a Kemah Bob fan but love the other hosts. They explore different topics with insight and wit.

    Ugh
Review based on listening to the entirety of Ep5 This is in the same vain of various NPR podcasts wherein young people moan and whine, attempting to ask “tough questions” while delivering essentially google “I’m feeling lucky” read the abstract answers. I would go as far to say that the episode is actually detrimental to those who wish to be “grown up” with money. Also when I am feeling sad I do buy small things, but in my case about half the time it is and extra small (~$10) payment on my student loans, down to 19k from 44k at the start and should be able to pay them off about 8 years ahead of schedule despite my fairly low wage.

    Great Conversations
I Kirsten to this podcast on my way to work and it never fails to make me smile and gain some perspective on my life. Adulting is hard, but you all make it much more palatable!

    Growing up has no manual
Simple idea but executed perfectly. Just four people talking about all the things adults are supposed to do/know to hilarious effect.

    Thinking of a title
Probably (just) outside the age range of the target audience, but having gone through the same things a few years back I do love this show
