Chris’s knowledge, and more importantly enthusiasm, keep this show north informative and engaging. I’ve only discovered it scientist this year and am glad to have so many past years to listen to! I’ve been looking for a podcast like this for so long, especially since my previous BBC4 Nature disappeared back in 2020. If only every area of the world had a naturalist interpreter like this to give everyone a cooler look and greater understanding of the world around them! Found this by accident and I’m glad I did

Have learned a great listening to Farmer Skinner, who makes his farm in Norfolk vast and intriguing. Affable host Matthew and others from BBC Norfolk make for a thoroughly enjoyable (almost) hour. Terrier Rat occasionally gets some unmerited bad press, because he sounds like a good boy.

I listen to this on my morning walks in Ohio and find I take longer and longer walks...to make sure I can fit Chris’ entire podcast in! This podcast is full of so much information about all types of wildlife and plants and so much more. Chris has an immense knowledge about all things in the natural world. The podcast, Chris and host, Matthew are excellent!
