MerNcA podcast after my own heartThese guys talk 80s music like I like to talk about 80s music. Love all the hosts but Spearsy and Brad are the heart. I saved the Rush episode for the 40th anniversary of Moving Pictures and when I can’t sleep it never fails to help me relax. This is podcast comfort food at its finest.

hotsaw24Horrible since Dailey leftFound it a couple months ago. Listened to first 275 episodes quickly. It was great with spears and Dailey. After Dailey left it’s borderline unlistenable due to the extreme unlikability of the other hosts.

KBMC2013Never thought the 80’s could be this boringI like all the topics they cover and it’s nice to have on in the background when I’m doing other things or going to sleep. Unfortunately none of the hosts have an ounce of charisma. They call themselves “stuck in the 80’s,” but they seem like they hate every song and movie they talk about. Definitely better than other podcasts where the hosts are screaming or laughing like hyenas, but definitely needs to liven up a little and stop trying to be too cool to like anything.

TheShoaks80sI give this an 80 out of 80

Mindy from the MittenStill working my way through and loving every minute!I found this podcast about two summers ago. I started to try episodes here and there that interested me, but their stories made me want to start from the beginning. I started with episode one, and made it to the 200’s when I decided to start all over again because I had missed some story plots the first listen. I’m now around episode 430 and am still entertained and nostalgic for my beloved 80’s!

GenXRocksRad!Just discovered this podcast and I am loving it! I love the “close but no cigar” series and your sense of humor. Thank you for sharing and bringing back memories of such good times. Best to you!

Johnny G.Love this show!!!This show is so well done and so relaxing to listen to whether I’m working out or woodworking in my garage. It truly is my oasis especially during tough times. I’m 57 so I’m a bit older than the hosts, but I totally commend the hosts for their knowledge and for always keeping things upbeat, but also for their shows when we grieve the unfortunate losses of our 80’s heroes who have left us too soon. One of many shows which impacted me was the episode after the death of Prince. On a personal note, I was a participant in the entertainment industry as a lead guitarist in the mid 80’s often emulating my influences and have so many awesome memories forever etched in my heart. Although I’ve since retired from the stage, your show continues to keep the me celebrating the awesome 80’s and those who influenced me. So thank you for the awesome shows, for celebrating this amazing time and even for shedding tears with your fellow 80’s fans. Please keep up the great work. I will always be a devoted listener! Peace, Johnny G.

Ken Lee from BostonAwesome trip down memory laneI consider myself an 80’s expert, so this podcast is like a gift from above ..... discussing movies, music and everything 80’s !! The best decade ever !!
-
Milhouse994A blast!!Steve and Brad have a ton of fun discussing their passion, all things 80’s. With some great features and guests along the way it’s always entertaining and even if I'm not familiar with the particular movie or song I also enjoy the listen!

Welcome2primetimeIt’s okay most of the timeSo I just discovered this podcast and I’ve listened to maybe a dozen episodes from different years. It’s usually okay. My problem is how judgmental Steve and Brad are. They didn’t want to watch Dirty Dancing. A huge movie from the 80’s. They sounded like a couple of immature teens. After they watched it they had to admit they liked it. They also have never seen Golden Girls. One of the highest rated tv shows of all time. They won’t watch horror. Even the classics. These guys refuse to step outside of their little box and try something they might actually like. Basically, they only talk about what they think is manly enough. Grow up! Are you 12? Anyway, this could have been a great podcast because I love the 80’s but these guys are far too immature to enjoy listening to.

Innocent CritterGrew up in the 80s - Ya gotta listen!Excellent chemistry amongst the hosts and special guests. Pays proper respect to the music, movies, and television of the 80s, and is formatted with fun regular features that should keep any child of the 80s pleasantly engaged. Subscribe - You won't be disappointed.
-
FNIPLoved the 80s comedy series finales episodeOne correction for MASH though. Trapper John, played by Wayne Rogers was replaced also. BJ Honeycutt, played by Mike Farrell, replaced him.

Buy Button Not Working?Fun nostalgia with heartThis is a really good podcast for anyone who looks fondly on the 80’s. Movies, music and tv from the greatest decade are all covered. Events that changed us as a society are covered. Brad and Steve have a great rapport and the guest ch-hosts really add their own fun personalities to the episodes.
-
dstrohmengOne thing...Brad, for the love of God, please stop saying 'woot-woot'.
-
89sguyLameMore time on commercials and lame comments than the 80s

HST RobertIncredible show!13 years after it began I finally discover one of the best podcasts out there. Thank you to Steve Spears for all the great work! It's one of the best edited & produced podcasts out there. The chemistry between Spears, Daly & Wos is fantastic in the early shows. Those episodes are on their own tier of brilliance. As a fellow podcast host/producer, I know the work behind it & I congratulate you for keeping this going.

sptestBring Sean Daly back!!!When Sean Daly left 5 years ago, this podcast has just not been the same. I enjoy Steve Spears and the various guest hosts, the seggies, What's your 80's obsession, etc, but all of this great stuff is almost cancelled out by the other host - Brad in L.A. I'm sure Brad is a nice guy, but a host on a podcast he is not. He just doesn't have the charisma or the sense of humor required to be likeable. Anyone who laughs at his own jokes is just to irritating to listen too. I do still listen to this podcast because I enjoy Steve Spears and I grew up in the eighties and love the various segments of the show. Steve, please get rid of the nerdy engineer in L.A. and bring back the wild and crazy Sean Daly! This show could be so much more by ditching Brad. Brad should be behind the mic as the little heard, never seen, engineer. Leave the host duties to people with charisma and a sense of humor.
-
Firebird3131Fun Podcast!Having “came of age” in the eighties, this was a great find for me. Hosts are engaging and the topics are interesting. Give it a listen.
-
FornieProud To Be Stuck In The 80'sLove this podcast. Sean and Brad are fantastic to listen to. If you live the 80's you will not be disappointed.

Kerry77634My entire childhood onlineI'm a child of the 80s, simply put. There's been so much of the peices of pop culture childhood showcased on this show that it's brogut hme back and back again to one of the pivotal periods of my life. A more fun time in some regards, different of course as everything is in childhood, and it's great to recall those moments through this show and remember how easy it is to have fun.
-
AJG1974Guaranteed to make for a great dayI wish this was a daily morning show on the radio. For me, it's not the pop culture content, but rather the personal 80s and present day anecdotes from the hosts. Steve Spears is a treasure! B-rad and Jen with One N are delights. Sean Daly's coming of age stories were side splitting.

Keepin' It Sunset BlvdGayle Is The 80's!!Please make Gayle a regular contributor. She brings a great perspective to the show.

JaySwasherLove this podcastOne of my favorite podcasts out there, every show makes me laugh. A+.
-
Dcrommwhy botherAn 80's podcast where the just seem to crap on most things 80's, especially if it was popular. I get it, you were to hip and to cool for the mainstream pop culture back in the day. Get over yourselves.

StrikitRichKeep It Up SpearsieBeen listening for years, don't have any plans to quit. Nokomis

DINUBA Joe SkaAwesome showAs refreshing as an ice cold beer, at a crappy motel, in a city in bum f**k Egypt.

upstagetakes me backI love this show. It is among the first podcasts I listened to, and it transports me back to my teen years with the great interviews and conversations. I'm a couple of years younger than Spearsy, but I still enjoy his flights of fancy and passions for the decade of my youth! Daly leaving felt like a huge blow to the show, but Brad has come a long way and helped keep the show alive and fun. I look forward to each and every new episode, even when the topics or guests are not of my particular taste. Keep it going! And please, take me along in your luggage for the 80s cruise. I am a huge Huey Lewis and The News fan!

March27ariesBest Podcast ever!!I've been listening since back in the Gina days. I've got to say I've tried listening to other podcasts but my heart belongs to SIT80's. There is just no comparison.

MarkWilson12Stuck on Stuck in the '80sA podcast about the '80s could get boring after 300 episodes. However, Stuck in the '80s has continually produced quality content with amazing guests for the past 9 years. It's far from boring. Every episode keeps me laughing and entertained. I wasn't sure if Stuck in the '80s would survive without Sean Daly but Brad Williams has done an amazing job of stepping into the role of co-host. I think Brad has developed his own voice and added a refreshing and new look at our beloved '80s. Finally, it wouldn't be the greatest podcast out there if Steve Spears wasn't sharing his love of all things '80s. The man has done a phenomenal job of bringing the greatest decade ever back to life. I just can't quit Stuck in the '80s.
-
AlpacaLipsSIT80s minus Sean Daly equals BORINGThanks for inviting Sean Daly back for episode 300. Now I know I've waited too long to unsubscribe. This was one of my favorite podcasts (and I listen to a lot of them) until Daly left a year or so ago. Now it's clear that the best episode without Daly falls short of even the worst episode with Daly. It's time to take the patient off life support guys. It's clinically dead. I'm ending my listening with episode 300 and thus leaving with a good memory of SIT80s. Thanks for that at least. --AlpacaLips, aka Ballbo Baggins of the Sackville Bagginses

Josh B 1980Highly Enjoyable! If you love the 80's, this is the podcast for you! Great stores, great interviews!!
-
Blur1989Ahhh...the memories, great podcastAs an 80's child this is the best...it's great reliving all the pop culture stuff from my youth. And it even has opened me up to other 80s movies, music, etc. The hosts are pretty funny and I can relate to alot of their stories of teen angst. I feel sorry for anyone who did not get a chance to spend their childhood and adolescence in this great decade!
-
doshussomething to treasureI got in on this podcast very late, and I worked my way back through most of the episodes...it seems that the show is on hiatus now that cohost/founder Steve Spears has moved to Orlando and changed jobs. If you haven't heard this podcast you're really missing out. I don't even think its appeal is so much about the eighties as it is the friendship between Steve and Sean Daly (and Cathy Wos). I don't really miss the eighties for the music so much as being a kid in a world that seemed like it had it together. There might never be another time like that, and when you hear people like Sean and Steve having fun and reminiscing it feels like you're part of something special. Thanks for the fun, guys.
-
sfitzgeraldBest podcast PERIODSean and Steve are always entertaining and informative. If you grew up in the 80s, this is the definitive podcast.
