The reporting is excellent, but the god awful music in the background trying to make everything sound edgy makes the entire podcast unlistenable. It’s unfortunate that this add on the track so profoundly from the work that’s done. I really wanted to hear the story, but the production value of having to have some noise under laying the speakers completely ruined the experience.

My sister in law is the Victoria in Williamsport that was mentioned in this podcast. Chris has spoken with her several times and was the best match. She had told me about the investigation and how her DNA was matched to a Jane Doe. I think it’s awesome that she was able to help identify Lisa and finally bring her home to her family. I’m so happy that I found this podcast and think it’s awesome that you mentioned Vicki. She really is a great person.

This podcast does a great job diving into Philadelphia area cold cases. They talk with police officers involved in the original investigations (when they can) and I feel like they truly care about our city and the people who live here.

I’ve been blowing up true crime podcasts for years. Just discovered this one...right in my own backyard of the Fishtown neighborhood of Philly.

I finally got around to listening to the episodes a couple of weeks ago after hearing KYW 1060 ‘Gone Cold’. I am now all caught up. I eagerly await future episodes.

...and this one is excellent. Really down to earth reporting on important cases that I’ve never heard before. They are advocates of the victims’ families, who are heartbroken and still haven’t found justice. Great job! Can’t wait to hear more.

Masterful producing to create the best podcast from KYW that I have listened to. Kristen and Tom write stories in a way that allow the subjects impacted by the cold case to tell it from their perspectives and first person experiences. This creates a heart wrenching feature that is a must subscribe!! I only wish they came out with episodes more frequently.

These stories are chilling, devastating, but also hopeful — maybe someone hearing an episode will know something and finally come forward. Stunningly well-produced and reported.

Gone Cold is the best (and only) Philly true crime podcast. So good to hear reporters who care, and who will not let murder be forgotten.

There is already a well-established podcast called 'Gone Cold,' which these 'reporters' would know from doing a 3 second search. So they're either bad at research, and thus would be ill-suited to doing true crime; or they don't care, in which case I don't think they should be rewarded. Shame on you.
