As a student of IR specializing in the FSU region, this is a must!

Love this podcast but unfortunately only listen to the 10-minute version that comes out at the beginning of the week - I just don't have the 40-50+ minutes to listen to the other episodes that come out. Guys: please consider doing shorter (say 20-minute) podcasts.

For anyone seeking to understand Russia given its prominence today, this podcast is an excellent view of what's going on inside Russia and what the world looks like from a Russian point of view. A true asset for those seeking a deeper level of understanding than CNN.

I love this podcast. It's a great way to stay informed on current affairs in Russia. Important information for a well informed person. Lots of varied, interesting opinions.

This is a fantastic podcast. The podcaster has a great way of presenting topics in a way this is approachable but with complexity and depth. Highly recommended.

I'm not a Russia expert (well attract not before listening religiously to the power vertical), but I can't stop listening to this wonky podcast on Russia because the topics/hosts/guests are all fascinating. I originally started listening following the Boris Nemtsov murder, trying to make sense of what I saw as a pretty dark and pivotal moment in Russian politics. Although there is no definitive answer, Brian and his guests have done a great job of reading the Kremlin tea leaves and teasing out among power struggles and press releases and the rumor mill what might be going on. This is my favorite podcast hands-down, and I recommend it highly to anyone not just interested in Russia but interested in politics in non democratic systems.

I am not a russia-watcher. I don’t find Russia interesting at all. But the hosts and their guests are always just interesting enough, and the subject matter just boring (to me) enough to get me fast to sleep. One episode usually lasts me a week: I just restart it a few minutes further in than last night and before I know it I’m out. Thanks y’all.
