    Matthew Lowe Episode
Ok I am a big fan of the West Wing! So when Matthew mentioned he was in one of the episodes I had to go back and find it! I think you said it was called “Noel”, I watched it but no Matthew, I did see him in Season 1 Episode 10 called Excelsis Deo! He was standing in front of President Bartlett (Martin Sheen).

    Dr. Hyman
I have been listening to random episodes of this podcast for over a month now. Any tidbits of information I retain usually is shared on social media or with people in my real life. Mostly it’s been pop culture. Today it was Dr. Hyman. Since I watched “Forks Over Knives” I have been rather aware of what I am putting into my body. High Fructose Corn Syrup has barely gotten inside me since. I indulge with a soda pop every once in a while. That being said, I was most attentive for this episode. Please do more every so often. I shared this particular episode with more people than any other episode. A handful of pecans a day keeps the doctor away. I also still eat apples, bananas, yada, yada. Love the show, An Ohioan, Tim Kendel

    Surprised
I found this accidentally and was very surprised how engaging and interesting these podcasts have been. I have been enjoying the new podcasts each week with the diversity of topics and people. I certainly have a new impression of Rob Lowe after listening to many of these and was again surprised at his candor and knowledge. It was not at all what I expected and have been pleasantly surprised! I had the “public persona” of him, but as you listen you find he is very intelligent and diverse. He also guides the interview, but lets the guest talk prompting with great questions and encouraging their “stories”. I really recommend and think you too will be surprised!

    Marc Andreessen Episode
You never know what you are going to get on this pod. It could be Hollywood stuff, Comics,Aliens and Bigfoot, or Science This one’s the best episode so far. Easily rivals the Jenn Pzaki and my other fav, the John Stamos episode. Everyone should have to listen to this one, it’s one of the learning episodes as opposed to the entertainment focused ones. This one explains so much about the scary side of the internet, and like data collection on Twitter (X), TikTok, and Facebook in a simple easy to understand way, with examples. And it also tells you how AI can benefit those of us who aren’t rich and why the rich in certain professions oppose AI. This guy is amazing and Rob knows what to ask. When I started listening to Rob, I was surprised at how smart he is. This podcast rarely disappoints.

    Great Podcast
I love his podcast. Sometimes I don’t know who his guests are and am so glad I listened as they usually turn out to be such interesting people. He seems so genuine and a true family man.

All of Rob Lowe’s Literally Podcasts
I must say, Rob Lowe’s podcast Literally is one of the best ones that I have listened to. I like his energy and he has a warm, funny, open and engaging way - as do the people that he has on the show. It’s really a pleasure and it’s also nice to see that he has not turned into an a-hole after all of these years. Keep it up Rob! Thank you.

    Fire hose of knowledge
Best podcast you’ve ever done. So much information. Good information. I sent it to my kids, they probably won’t listen to it but they should. Get rid of TikTok and the Chinese government

    The Earth’s 70% water…
…and you’re parched! (I read that somewhere) The great thing about this podcast is that the topics and the personalities are always changing. Some are on a deeper level, some are more whimsical, more humorous, etc., the list goes on, which is exactly what I need. Rob has a talent and the right character to deliver it. I have listened to various podcasts but only subscribed to a handful, including this one. Thank you Rob, and thanks to the fantastic crew behind it too… literally!!

    Lowe/Cryer = Genius conversation!
I came of age with you you two, so this episode soooo resonated with me, as I’m a huge admirer of both of your unique talent and careers, and minds, and totally appreciated all of the stellar backstories! Especially love you, Rob!💖

    Guests always relaxed with rob
If you think you know Rob Lowe from his movies and tv shows get ready. He disarms any celebrity that he interviews into a chill hang. He always has a story about any interesting characters from Hollywood fish bowl. If your just getting started definitely listen some of SNL guests from his movies. Ps if your lucky he will sometimes do impressions of his old friend Bill Paxton

    F Bombs
I am sad to say, even though I enjoy your podcast and guests, I have to stop listening because of your F Bombs, You use it as causal language and I find it disrespectful.
  • Tr314
    Yes !
Love the episode with Dr. Hyman! Learned tons! Please more like this. It is so right about “there is no food in our food.” Other countries have much stricter mandates when it comes to food and what is in (or not in) the food. Thank you!

    One of the best podcasts!
Love Rob and love the variety of guests! And yes, Rob, please do more episodes like the one with Dr Hyman! I’ve been following Dr Hyman for some time and listen to his podcast and you had some great questions that touched the surface of some great topics and it’s one of my all time favorite episodes, along with the one with Henry Wrinkler which is still in my top 5!
  • Jennim.
    Always a great listen
I love the podcast. Rob is such a good interviewer, even though he goes off on tangents often, I really enjoy his thoughtful questions. I have learned more about each guest he has on and even people I have never heard of. If you haven’t read his books, it’s a good read. Love ya Rob!

    Love The Show
The podcast is great: very entertaining and insightful. Would be 5 stars if not for the explicit language.

    Pretentious
Rob and a guest tell stories of being Hollywood elites and experiences that are completely unreliable.

    Some of the best interviews
I am a Smartless fanatic with Bateman, Arnett and Hayes. I stumbled upon Rob Lowe’s podcast and I have been completely enthralled with both his guest and his interview style. I absolutely love this podcast and I cannot tell enough people how great this podcast is and how addicting it has become for me. Great work Rob! Love all that you are doing to introduce people in a different way. You have a great way at allowing us to know people in a more personal way. Thanks for all you do’

    Fun for All!!
It’s like being a fly on the wall while two friends chat it up! Rob asks great questions and does the best impressions, and is so funny. Love his stories, and he’s so open about sharing his personal life. I have learned a lot about Rob Lowe, and I’ve been a fan forever. Good times and fun for all!

    Love love love
I am late in reviewing the episode with Rob’s wife Cheryl, but, she is absolutely wonderful, amazing, smart, intelligent, just all of the words! lol i would like another episode with her again. She’s so insightful. Everyone in my home is a Rob Lowe fan. My oldest child, 17, when she first saw Rob, when she was 5, said he was a beautiful man. My youngest son said he looks like an angel lol. Love the podcast!! And keep telling your stories Rob!! I for one love them!!

    Love the stories
One of my favorite podcasts! I love hearing the cool & nostalgic stories throughout the film & tv industry. I have watched Rob Lowe ever since I was a child. A great actor, and an even better human being! I would love to sit down with Rob and talk about acting and hear any lessons and his thoughts about getting into the industry.

    I Lowe the 80’s
Rob! (Because of course we are literally on a first name basis, now.) I love the show! Don’t you dare stop telling stories about yourself! I enjoy that maybe even more than the stories from guests, but you know how to get the good stuff from them. Thank you!

    My husbands a little jealous
Rob, I’ve honestly not seen most of your tv work but I been a fan because you have always gone your own path and I have always admired that just fick it attitude that I’ve never had. I have enjoyed this podcast so much because it is just such a great conversation and not packaged for PR. The best.

    Literally Worth My Time
Love you! Love your podcast! As a long time Rob Lowe fan, I am so glad I get to hear you on a regular basis. It is wonderful to learn bits of Hollywood lore, Celebrity Gossip, Life Lessons, and about your intriguing guests. I could not pick a favorite though I did like how you gave Arnold 2 episodes. I want you to know your own personal stories are crucial, keep it up.
  • Hey You. Pikachu!
    Nando Parrado episode!!
Thank you for your interview of Namdo Parrado!!! This morning I was scrolling through my podcast library to choose what I was going to listen to on my drive to work. All I saw was “Nando Par….” And I knew immediately who it was and what it was about. I haven’t hit play on a podcast episode so fast in years. Then I cried my way through the listen. I’ve been fascinated by this story for decades, have seen every movie and documentary and read several books. His book Miracle In the Andes is one of my all-time favorite books and I’ve read it multiple times an urged many people over the years to read it. This interview cemented what an extraordinary person he is. Not just for his physical accomplishments of what he did to survive and rescue his friends, but how he has maintained his attitude in aftermath and his life since. I will also be cheering on Society of the Snow for what I hope will be a well deserved Academy win. I’ve listened to many of your podcast legends. This one is my favorite by a long way. great job with the interview and thank you for continuing to bring his story to people

    Best podcast
Just discovered the podcast! The Jim Belushi episode was the best and favorite. Please do an episode with Ken Wahl from the 80’s show Wiseguy along with Jonathan Banks and Jim Burns

    A Gen X Must!
I’m really enjoying this podcast quite a bit. Rob Lowe was the king of the brat pack, and is delightful to listen to. Love the wit, humor, and honesty. Keep ‘em coming!!!

    From 80s to Believer
I never really liked Rob Lowe in the 80s. His “bad boy” image was too much and too “Hollywood” for this DC girl. Then, I fell in love with my favorite show of all time, West Wing, and couldn’t help but also be open to how good an actor Rob really is. So, I followed his career and I watch everything he does. When this podcast came out I didn’t think I’d love it. I do! Learning more about the husband, the Dad, the friend, the brother, the actor and the man that Rob Lowe is has given me such a higher understanding and appreciation for him and the craft of acting. Thank you for a great show! Rob, some of us love your stories and they remind us that we all have stories to share and a life worth living to the fullest. Thank you.

    Schwartzenegger revelation
Well…. did learn a lot about Arnold during this podcast. Bombshell. The former governor of California thinks we wiped out the deficit AND the national DEBT under Clinton. Deficit yes… debt no. If he doesn’t have that basic knowledge, I realize all his opinions need to be taking with a pound of salt. UPDATE : Such a like/dislike relationship with this podcast. Rob definitely has a charm, but he is pretty bad at keeping his 1% lifestyle in check while presenting a podcast to the 99%. Even brings it out of his guests such as Hillary Swank making comments about having to keep working cause diapers are expensive…. yeah…. OK Hillary.

    Nostalgia & Rock Star Interviews
I love that Rob interviews everyone across the board. Obviously my favorite guest are anyone from 80’s-early 90’s movies! So a little nostalgia when my favorites are interviewed from movies that impacted me when growing up. It’s great to hear from their perspective and what really happened behind the scenes. What is surprisingly refreshing is the respect they each have for Rob and level of friendship that is revealed throughout the podcast. It’s entertaining, funny and insightful. You won’t regret listening!!!

So fun to be a fly on the wall!
I love this podcast! It’s so fun to listen to Rob’s conversations with so many different people. They are natural and comfortable…it literally feels like I am a fly on the wall, listening to a couple of people chatting over coffee or sitting on a park bench. Thank you so much for all that you do, Rob and company!

    Fav!
This is such an enjoyable podcast. I haven’t listened to a single one and thought it wasn’t great. It says a lot about Rob Lowe to interview such a diverse group of people and make each one interesting and different. I really love listening and can’t wait for the next episode to drop.

    Deep, fun, and real
I wasn’t sure if I’d like the podcast and now it’s one of my faves. I was a fan of Rob’s back in the day and after reading his impressive book Stories I Only Tell My Friends, I learned he’s a genuine and deep guy. The replay of the 2021 Oprah interview is the best! The words that Oprah has always remembered from Maya Angelou are incredible - I listened twice and wrote them down. Really inspiring and moving interview. Great podcast!
  • SurferKitty
    Some GREAT guests until…
The reprehensible Cheryl Hines. Had to unfollow.

    So much fun!!!
Rob Lowe’s career has been fun to watch and his candid sharing about his personal life makes him a class act in my opinion so when I heard about this podcast I was interested. It is so fabulous! Getting to hear him in at least what feels like his true self talking with others I’ve grown up watching on and off screen is a treat. Thanks for great entertainment during a time it feels so hard to find! Just really love this.
  • UTAHJAZZGIRL
    Just found you!
Rob, perfect and such fun interviews. I started with your celebration of Oprah’s 70 th! I grew up with her. Such a fascinating and REAL conversation. Looking forward to many more hours of enjoyment and learning. xox
