I only found out about this podcast a few days ago and I absolutely love it. It covers two of my favorite subjects for the “price” of one: First history and second true crime.

I listen to all your podcasts. I try to ignore your personal opinions you shove in your show. “White people evil,” “white people racist,” “poor oppressed black people,” “evil male misogynists,” on and on. It’s tiresome. Just tell the story.

Always look forward to when an episode drops. Very informative. Also like articles in the Cincinnati enquirer. Probably only person in town still getting paper delivered. Keep them coming

Amber’s storytelling style along with her voice and frankness are an ideal blend in the telling of these incredible stories.

If you like leftist revisionist history, this is your podcast. Heard all I could stomach about halfway through the Barker gang episode. So lame.

Half an episode on and I’m hooked. Amber is a great story teller in a real-person’s voice. I chose the LaLaurie episode first as I had learned about her during a visit to New Orleans. This podcast offers insights and information I had not known. Bravo! UPDATE - knocking off a star for the incessant commercials.

Amber, you are so talented and capable. I loved the first season of Accused. As the years go by, you keep leaning harder and harder to the left. I’m a centrist, and just not a fan of left-leaning political activism infused in storytelling.

I’ve ignored most of the telling of this story due to the extreme sadness, but I’m thankful to have listened to this account. I have never heard the full story of the shooter’s background, what was going on in his life at the time of the shooting and I’ve rarely heard so many details of the victims. Thank you! And Great Job! 👏

Informative and enlightening stories about things that definitely deserve more recognition. Or sometimes no recognition at all - but gives insight on the victims of these events. So glad to see COTC on Grab Bag Collab!!!! ❤️❤️

I really enjoy Amber’s take on these forgotten cases. The episodes are well researched and Amber’s delivery is spot on. I truly enjoy her work with Grabbag Collab on her Catalyst podcast and I encourage fans to check that out for fascinating insight into the facts behind the crimes we all think we know.

I’ve been interested in true crime documentaries for many years, and Crimes of the Centuries is my favorite! Ms. Hunt’s depth of research, and compassion for the victims of violent crime really shine through. I’m looking forward to hearing many more episodes!

Great story telling and calming voice

This is such an easy listen but also very informative, amber is amazing!

I find myself re listening to a lot of these episodes bc they’re so good, and I super appreciate the hosts attention to detail and storytelling. But this last episode, on the assassination crew of Lincoln, has got to be, hands down my favorite. History is WILD.

I really want to like this show. I keep trying it every week, but I always seem to zone out and get lost (i.e., it doesn’t hold my attention enough). I will keep trying, but for now I can only rate ‘em as I hear ‘em.

I love this podcast your the best

The only problem I have with this show is the occasional use of “bad language.” I spent five years in the Marne Corps, so bad language doesn’t offend me. I guess I just think it’s a little unprofessional. (And it’s not horrible. She doesn’t drop the “F Bomb” or anything like that)But this is Amber’s show and she can write it and narrate it as she pleases. I’ve been binging this show since I found it, so the language really isn’t that big a deal to me. If you like true crime shows I highly recommend this one. Great job Amber Hunt!

Some episodes are good, some are not. FYI, I didn't miss a beat after giving birth. Milking cows the next day would have been nothing, and I am Norweigan.

I do really like the stories but I’m here to listen to “crimes of the centuries” not someone’s political leanings..it’s heavily pushed and expressed into the stories..just a fair warning to people reading reviews..other than that not a bad podcast..

I’m always listening to true crime podcasts. There are just so many on the big cases and it gets too repetitive. I’ve heard of some of these cases but many I haven’t. This podcast delivers a concise account of some interesting crimes. Also, I love Amber’s voice. I’m so glad she’s been picked up by the Obsessed group and is picking up a bigger following. I first found COTC on Wonderly.

Many of these stories I knew of but there are also many I had not heard of and all of the stories are detailed and interesting. Excellent story telling.

I love the thought and care that goes into every episode. Amber does an amazing job not only telling the story of events but also being on the side of the victims. All of the episodes have been fascinating.

There are a zillion true crime podcasts, but very few are written by honest to God journalists. Not to mention Pulitzer Prize winning already. Just subscribe and listen already!

I loved Amber’s work on Accused, and was so glad to see her land here after the Enquirer torpedoed funding. (Rude, bad call by their conglomerate; Cincy media just isn’t the same now.) I appreciate her ability to tell a story with gory details without being lurid, her way of describing imperfect victims without being precious or calloused, and the incredible depth of the research. She truly is balanced, and her delivery gives stories a great rhythm. Admittedly I have trouble focusing on “old” stories, at times; but Amber has given new life to old bones with this show, and I have truly enjoyed it.

That is all.

It seems like the host keeps ranting with a random facts to fill up the space . It’s hard to keep track of all the characters from each episode because so much detail is given for each mentioned character . Sometime is just useless information.

I love the true crime + history mix. Amber is a fantastic storyteller!
