I’ve been sick for a bit, so I just heard that you are stopping both this and True Crime Chronicles?!?! I came today to catch up on all the episodes I missed, and I hear that it’s ending. Please know how much your reporting these stories meant to me and so many. The way you talked about the victim and the families was so important. I’m in shock because these 2 podcasts were probably my top 2. Will and Reed!! Your voices are absolutely perfect for podcasting. I’m just in shock I think. All the good things seem to end don’t they? 🥺 I hope everyone is well and I pray that you both (and the whole team) are moving on to something even better for yourselves. This podcast doesn’t regurgitate stories about horrific crimes. Admirably, they raise fact-based questions about all participants, including law enforcement. Time to hold EVERYONE accountable…

Weird that there’s no call for personal responsibility. You know what keeps you from being beat by cops? Not threatening store clerks at 1 am. You know what keeps you from being murdered in the US as a sex worker? Staying in your country and working as whatever you do there.

It’s nice to have a quick summary of current events. Multiple times I’ve caught myself saying “oh I just heard about this!” Because of this podcast. Subtract 1 star because it turns out some reporters make terrible interviewee’s. Gosh some stumble and mumble and repeat the same thing in a monotone over and over. But overall the premise of the show is great.

You wouldn’t think they could cram so many ads into a 10 minute episode, but they manage to. Basically, it’s two minutes of content, followed by 1-2 ads. Don’t know who is driving this greediness, but it really feels like it’s more ads than content.

Justifying the protest of this man being shot while FLEEING the police! It is called consequences for bad choices. It is time for common sense to be the rule not uneducated mob rule. I will not listen to another episode . If you are looking for an Intelligent, informed, educated podcast, this is not your listen!

I used to enjoy this podcast but lately it has leaned very anti law enforcement and has gotten political. I would not recommend this for anybody who is pro law enforcement or pro crimes being prosecuted based on facts or feelings.

They seem to be completely incapable of telling a coherent story in a logical fashion. They don’t get around to actually explaining the crime until the episode is nearly over, by which time you’ve lost interest. I liked the idea of hearing from the local reporters, but most of the ones they interview are rambling, repetitious, and lack command of the English language. Just heard an episode where a “reporter” referenced a “great great great cousin” and confused ancestors with descendants, and another episode where a “reporter” made up the word “efforting.” I can’t believe these people are paid “journalists.” Finally unsubscribing.

Enjoyed the latest episode narrated by Reed and Will. They are both so intelligent and speak so well! Much prefer it to hearing newscasters who mumble and stumble through interviews.

I can’t get enough of this podcast. Love it

They literally just dumped 140 old episodes into my feed that I am going to have to manually delete now. And they all had today’s date. Ugh! Instead, I just deleted the podcast altogether. Who does something like this? The only reason I can think of is to try to scam their download numbers for advertisers. Hope it was worth it because you lost a listener today.

One thing is for sure….reporters make for some of the worst interviews! Stammering around questions & being vague or unclear on their answers. It’s hard to listen to some of them. The hosts of this podcast, on the other hand are awesome!

Very informative and entertaining

Good gawd! To all the insane Q’ers who are crying, keep crying! You have the intellect of a child so it’s quite fitting. Let’s be honest, if you believe In that nonsense you shouldn’t be listening to podcasts, you should be sitting in a high chair with your helmet on playing with coloring books. I’m actually very impressed that you people were able to find the review section of the podcast. Now, if Q talked about a Republican sexual predator who’s trafficking minors across state lines, that would be believable. Because that actually happened. But I guess people with no life have to have something to believe in. Just keep your insane points of view to yourselves and leave the rest of us (who preside in reality) alone!

This podcast is good until the QAnon episode. It sounded like a liberal who loves celebs and cries about Trump. This is daily crime not daily politics and don’t need to hear how you feel about this side or that side.

Great stories and eyewitness accounts, but some stories are unsolved and I hate cliffhangers, LOL. But if stories were solved, I’d give that last star.

Doesn’t matter which side you’re with, talking politics has no business being on a true crime podcast. If you want to talk politics, make a political podcast and spew all you want ....

I don’t always get to it every day, but I binge this one each week for updates and love that these cases are mostly current!! So well produced.

Some episodes are really good. I came here from their longer form True Crime Chronicles, which I like. I do like the brief format for a change of pace. Downsides: Too much political opinion, and the “We’ve all got ‘gulls’ “ (aka, goals) ad is WAY old and overplayed.

Political views shouldn’t be mixed in with True Crime. If I wanted to listen to political views, I would listen to the news media! There are many other True Crime podcasts that cover crime only, and you have no idea what political side they’re on. That’s how news use to be....I will not be listening anymore.

Great episode. He was THE right journalist to witness the execution. His vocabulary and delivery speak to his professionalism, but more importantly, his humanity.

This podcast was a good podcast until the host started turning political pushing their liberal views about the right party

I was very disappointed by the story entitled 1500 about Donald Parks. He was an innocent man who stopped off to get cat food after church, two men approached him for a ride, he kindly gave them one, and was then murdered. They were thugs, gang members who murdered just because they could. Then to play audio from one of the killers daughter, portraying him as a kind, wonderful person...it was really disgusting! Imagine my dismay when I further researched the killing, and realized you didn’t even have the victims name correct. His name was Donavan not Donald...wow I was going to give your podcast another chance, but if I can’t trust the reporting to be right on something as basic as the victims name...I won’t be listening!

Stories are disorganized and hard to follow. I love most of the podcasts by Vault Studios but the formatting of these episodes drive me crazy.

I’ve found this a fantastic resource to learn about cases all over the country, that I had never heard of, and enjoy the use of local reporters who have covered the cases.

These guys are great in all aspects. Investigations, Delivery, Quality, and Diversity. Not a surprise, anything Vault Studios has always been top notch!

Love listening to this show daily.

I like the stories covered here, but whether it’s poor storytelling or just bad editing, the episodes are sometimes really hard to follow.

This podcast makes me actually look forward to early mornings. They always tell the most interesting stories (the Q episodes were especially striking/heartbreaking)—made even better by bringing in reporters, which is something I haven’t seen much before. I can’t wait to hear more!

WHY?? WHY??WHY??? Did you have to bring politics into your podcast???????? I HATE that you did that because this podcast and ‘true crime chronicles’ were seriously one of my favorite podcasts. Sorry to say but NOT anymore. Why can’t people keep politics out of non-political podcasts??? I turn to crime podcasts to take a break from what’s going on in the political world. You absolutely just ruined that for me- and, I’m sure many others. I’m unsubscribing as of now- to BOTH shows. Ughhhhhhh I hate doing this but I CANNOT support bringing politics into this.

Why why why can I not find a non political podcast?! It’s ridiculous! I’m so sick of politics and look for something to listen to that has NOTHING TO DO WITH POLITICS. It’s impossible now. I don’t agree at all with the “Q” conspiracy stuff, but seriously you put that on a true crime podcast? And not just one episode....but two. Pathetic. Can you stick to true crime and LEAVE POLITICS OUT OF YOUR REPORTING??!!! If I wanted to listen to politics I’d listen to politics!!! I DON’T!!!!! Stick to true crime!

Ignore the weird politically charged reviews. This show is great, and really complements their longer True Crime Chronicles segment. Always love putting on an episode during my morning walk. The interview format with local reporters really adds good context to the cases.
