I use to listen to podcast but now listening to them makes me feel like I am back in high school. Dr. Liao sounds like a perv and him and Chris disgust me. The Grinch joke just lost you a listener. Love Risdon and Ash and others like Bish & Brown.

Seriously how much lower can you go? The juvenile and immature humor has just gone to far. I’d listen to this with my sons but not anymore. Grow up!

Minus one star for the excessive length of most episodes, another for the relatively small percentage of football insight expressed. They have insight, lots of it, but a lot of the show is about emotional reactions, sophomoric sexual double-entendre and drinking. Minus the third star for the call-ins which are not usually worth the time and that often start with a host asking “how much have you had to drink.” Awkward. A few changes and this show could be AMAZING. GO LIONS!

I just randomly came across the Za’Darius Smith reaction podcast, and I thought it was fantastic. Just a word of advice though, you should say your name at the beginning of your show. I just spent the last 10 minutes trying to find out who I was actually listening to, and I couldn’t find it anywhere. It’s not in the podcast description, or the episode description. I still have no idea. I loved the episode though, and shared it with several friends. Great job!

Probably the best Lions analyst (Jeff Risdon) I’ve heard/read. High football IQ (ex—athlete) his opinions on Lions players and team clearly comes from his personal experience sw Lion players staff, and others throughout the NFL. Not just a rehash of stuff he’s read/heard secondhand - unlike many other podcast/writers. Bottom line- listening to Risdon’s views are very worth your time. (Not mean’t as a slight against other contributors on this podcast. They too have good info to impart).

This dynamic duo is always a treat when talking about our beloved Detroit Lions! They are both real genuine fans with deep and detailed takes! Their energy is contagious and warranted!

Hey. I have enjoyed listening to Ash all season. He is knowledgeable and insightful in his assessment of the Lions weekly match ups. Listening to him makes me sound like I know what I’m talking about. Rock on Ash.

Ash individual matchup breakdowns are money. Also appreciate that he leans into not being everyone’s cup of tea. He knows Ball.

Less ash. Dislike ash, a lot. Everything else is good. Ash need not be on main show.

All his content is the perfect balance of stats, analysis, explaining advanced concepts simply, accurate predictions of how games will go, and color commentary about all of the above. Can’t get better.

Of all of the Lions podcasts that I listen too, this is still my favorite. I love the way it’s played out and how much information is packed into the podcast. Keep up the good work, gentleman.

The title says it all. I’m unsubscribing solely based off of him and what he doesn’t bring to the table. I don’t need nor want to hear his lectures. There has to be better out there and I’ll keep looking until I find it.

I still love you guys even though some phrases are well overused, if that makes sense.

Best Lions podcast out there…..

These guys are simply the best. I look forward to all their shows!

I love the show. I listen to everything, I subscribe, I get notified… all the stuff. But I gotta say, unless you say “the thing”before it happens; the dust has no sparkle. It becomes the room your grandma doesn’t let anyone sit in kind of dust. If you can’t say what you know… I think you’d be better served to not put whatever mysterious thing you know out there in coded language. Because claiming victory afterwards is Pyrrhic.

I’ve been listening for years but after venturing out and listening to other lions podcasts opened my eyes to how mediocre this one has become. Chris has become insufferable to listen to over the last year or so. Between the same tired old jokes you’ve heard since elementary school, his penchant to talk over people, and his constant ranting, I’ve start to resent any time he opens his mouth. Ris brings some nice insider perspective, however. I appreciate any time Sandman is on too. They also spend way too much time talking about their kids, or what they’ve been drinking, or what they did a few nights ago. Do yourself a favor and listen to Pride of Detroit, One of those Years, or The Detroit Lions Breakdown podcast.

Chris is the best. The Rizz is always a great compliment. Guests are top notch and blend seamlessly with this smart, funny, & insightful cast. They understand what’s happening and give an honest, positive, take on what’s really happening within the Lions organization. The gold standard for lions info. These guys set the bar high! Not to mention their great work for St Jude’s. Best Slack chat! “No Pants, No Toasters , No Hot Tubs, No Problems”

I am no prude and enjoy alcohol but I cringe when they greet every caller with “how much have you had to drink?” This is usually followed by connection problems and thus no actual lions talk. Doesn’t seem like the effort is there.

There are better lions podcasts out there Matt Dery and POD. What did it for me is when Chris said another podcast was copying them for doing charity stuff.. who cares if they copied you. I can’t stand listening to the sandman after games and the new edition of Scott is not great. I’ve been listening to these guys for years but I just gotta be done. Unsubscribing.

I’ve been a listener for a while now and the podcast just keeps getting better and better. Riz is my favorite lions analyst, I’ve been following Scott’s draft takes for years, and Chris brings the whole thing together. This is an all-star lineup. 5/5

It’s getting unbearable to listen to Chris. He’s like a bad morning radio Dj. His jokes are stale and not funny at all, and he just needs to stop with the random audio drops because his timing is terrible they’re just annoying. It also seems like he’s taken a page from bob Quinn and matty p’s book and thinks he’s the smartest man in the room….might be time for me to find a new lions podcast

I recently came across your podcast and I Love It!! Great content and feels like a couple of fans just sitting down to talk about the team! Looking forward to a full season of great episodes!

Love the show. I know you guys heard differently but the Bill Keenist episode was awful. He seems great but I do not believe anyone is tuning in to hear him ramble on about the bad old days. Please don’t waste your time with those shows again.

The pod cast may be 75 min to 90 min, but most of it (first 30 min, then at least 30 min more throughout) are these guys talking about their personal lives and what the did on the weekend. What a waste of time.

I love the show for what it’s good at. Coverage of the Lions. They are passionate but fair when they critique the team, which is always important. They are my favorite Detroit Lions podcast because they are the most knowledgeable. My only complaint is the “live” post game shows. I don’t like to listen drunk morons at any point, but especially after a football game. I usually just avoid those shows. Overall, if you are a tortured lions fan, and would like some more coverage, this show is for you. Enjoy

This show is one my favorite lions pod cast i listen to ken brown and mike oharas podcast to listen to bickering married couple and chris and riz must be there immature kids and I love every minute of it they are very entertaining always knows whats up with the lions great show for a homer like me if u love the lions listen to this show

Great show, great hosts great community. This podcast is well produced, with the perfect mix of fun and insightful nuance on what happens weekly with our Detroit lions. You will get tremendous reasonable and sometimes differing opinions that open you to new perspectives and ways to look at what our team is doing. There is fun banter and inside jokes but also in-depth team specific break downs. Aside from the hard work they put in with the podcast and great production by supporting them you will also be doing more they do great work with St Jude every year and raise tons of money for kids in need, they also have a great community that you can be apart of in the slack where you can talk with other fans. I can’t recommend this podcast enough. Thanks to Chris and Jeff Risdon for hours of entertainment. -love paps 🍆

Great content. I’ve been listening for years. If you are a Lions fan this podcast is for you. I don’t miss an episode and you shouldn’t either.

This show was decent when Case was a bigger part of it, but it’s really gone downhill. I like the Riz, and Tony Ortiz is solid, but Chris doesn’t bring much to the table. He’s trying too hard to pander to all the slappies out there, with some asinine takes and lame attempts at humor peppered in. This is sounding more and more like the worthless drivel you’d hear on 97.1 The Ticket. I’m not sure why they take so many (awful) callers on here - rarely do those people have anything insightful or remotely interesting to say. Sandman’s solid, too - but Chris laughing at his own jokes and spending 10 minutes straight plugging CBD is unbearable. This is clearly intended for a less-intelligent audience.

Can’t get out of their own way. Don’t need an a dry lecture from Risdon. Snake Oil Chris and his bloviating perspective isn’t worth my time anymore. Nobody cares about the constant distracting tangents, slack chat, and your constant pandering every ten minutes. Figure out what adults want in a podcast! Peace. Out!

I listen to 3 Lions pods, and I struggle to get through this one. I feel like Chris can’t get a word in edgewise and it is very annoying.

I really want to like this show as the content is good, however listening to Risdon laugh at himself 100x a episode makes me want to put a drill bit through my ear drum.

I can’t help it. I’ve tried leaving this team for others. But I keep coming back, and these guys make the experience better, through the ups and (lots of) downs. I appreciate how these guys express sincere interest in the Lions, optimism, and criticism in this podcast. It’s not just all knee-jerk anger & cynicism, nor is it naive hope. These guys approach the conversations smartly. Sometime smart-a$$ly. But they have knowledge about the players, they talk about them like they’re humans, they know plenty about the game, and they don’t run away from how tough it is to be a Lions fan at time. They are clearly fans themselves. I’ll stay subscribed. Keep up the good work, guys. We are listening!

I love that these guys stay positive even though it’s hard to do as a Lions fan. They make me laugh when I just want to cry after watching yet another loss. Keep up the good work fellas!

Not your typical armchair-expert, Lions-bashing radio hosts, which is refreshing. A little too optimistic at times (their offseason praise for Patricia was bordering on insanity in my opinion) but they usually tell it how it is with some solid humor.

As they always say, it’s the most intelligent Lions chat in the game. This podcast gives me the most information about the Lions I can get every week. Chris and Kase are really good, but their guests are amazing. I love whenever Jeff Risdon comes on the show.

This is my favorite Lion’s podcast out there. They have an awesome Slack chat, and they give back to the community as well. Chris and Case do an excellent job breaking down the schemes/players and involving their listeners in the pod!

Chris, Love you to death man but I bought an Okudah #1 Jersey because you said “get your one of a kind #1 Okudah jersey cuz once he picks a number it won’t be special” but I guess what you didn’t know was they weren’t selling jerseys until they picked their number. Well I didn’t know either and I paid for one so looks like I’m the sap lol. Either way, I’ll be getting my #30 JO Jersey 3 months later and it will still look beautiful

As a Lions fan I feel right at home listening to this podcast because it’s a bunch of fans not complaining about our home team but providing positive insight on what the organization can do to make the team better all while drinking our sorrows away watching the same old Lions. This podcast is much needed after disappointing losses and surprising wins lol. 👍🏾👍🏾
