Dschuetz1Love SAM! ❤️🙏😃🌈Love Sam, Monday Morning QB, Steady Dropping’ Dimes, Defensive Breakdown with Vance, my favorite Fridays with John U. Bacon! The Best! Wish Sam had email availability! ❤️😃❤️😃
-
schendvdSam is insufferableSam makes everything about Sam, except when he criticizes EJ Holland for… gasp…reporting. What good is it to the listener if Sam has contacts, but he won’t report any info. Meanwhile, after the fact, Sam takes credit for knowing the good news all along. Sure you did.

ATMATM1Good interviews but poor soundVolume is down on interviews, but the ads will blast you out of the room. The phone interviews are the worst for audio quality… These fixes are not hard. Otherwise good content.
-
BlueRobeastGreat content, poor audioEspecially when John U Bacon is on. Someone get that man a new phone or someone at the station figure out how to clean it up because it’s really bad
-
unhappy6Content is interesting. Production stinksThe sound is horrible. I can’t hear the people speaking without squeaking and sound interference. Podcasts should be better produced. Where is sound engineering? Limiter? I love the content and opinions. But it is nearly unlistenable. Listen to more if I can take it. But alas it has never improved in years
-
H LiggsGrow upKind of embarrassing that you have a grown man on a professional podcast who can’t pass up any chance to make a 69 joke. Is Miz a teenager?
-
Jim from FLASound engineeringI agree with Jon. Wearing earbuds is a constant frustration turning the volume up and down constantly. Come on guys! You work for a radio station! Put the engineer to work solving this frustrating issue. Jim from FLA
-
Jon from FLAVolume IssuesI listen to Sam, Ira and crew 5 days a week podcast from Florida, love it. One issue, the volume for guests is much lower than the host. Much too loud for commercials. Sound engineering needs improvement.
-
All Blue All DayWorst sound mixing in the podcast universeReally enjoy the content but the loudness of the commercials and inconsistent volume of different speakers make it almost unlistenable.
-
AllFreysMustDieAds fo Trump, really?Trump tried to overthrow our system of government, the World’s best democracy. And WTKA runs ads for him? I’m out!
-
Dshman9Indiana michigan fan. Love itJust wish the ads werent so much louder than everything else. Sam and the guys r great
-
Cruzcontrol75Great content poor execution5* info on University of Michigan sports. Recruiting roundup is a favorite. But the sound quality is terrible. Some days I switch it off. All the popping in my speakers on the Ls, sh, Ps, Is. It’s not my levels because I’ve adjusted the Volume, EQ and sound levels. Hire a capable engineer.

TheBigFish54FishGoBlue54Love the show Stuck in Ohio!
-
Bmoney21303Podcast one adsMaybe hire a sound guy to fix the levels and smooth out the vast discrepancies in volume between guests and also hosts. Also figure out how to turn off alerts on your computer and phone so that it is not blowing up during broadcasts. Love the round table, but it needs some production work to make it listenable...

docm80Too woke for my tasteThere is always been an understanding on this program. That politics is to be kept a side, but unless you are a host or a call in guest being interviewed, you can take cheap shots at the south, politicians, and any opinion that varies from the political correctness of the host of the show and top of that it is now become apparent that Mr. Webb is so tightly connected with Michigan athletic department that he has lost a modicum of journalistic integrity. He skirted the Jett Howard issue constantly this season and has failed to question the culture of the basketball team and why it’s losing so many of us players.
-
rjbwingsWTKA Sam and IraLove this! Try to listen everyday live through App, but use this when needed!!! The best coverage of U of M athletics!!! Sam has me connected to The Michigan Insider and Ira is a great family man who loves Maryland and Michigan but maybe not in that order! Awesome listening!!!
-
TonyB507RamseyGreat Sam. The king of back pats. You talked up Isaiah Barnes as much as Kobe. You the man.
-
@micheltuckerTop NotchSam and Ira are outstanding! They are my daily go-to for all things UM. I look forward to their dialogue and daily guests! Go Blue! 〽️^♾
-
John atbworkInformativeThis is the best place to find information on Michigan Wolverines in any sport.
-
WayneHillsCommercials horribleThe content is great. But the editing for the commercials makes it all but unlistenable. And the health insurance commercial is a joke. Scam???
-
Big House BoyAwesome!Love hearing about Michigan football - never too much!! The team, the team, the team!!
-
101732Sam and Devin are great, but……they get too silly in the Monday morning qb. I’m all for having fun, but their silliness overpowers the breakdown.
-
NahabdnIRA IS SO ANNOYING!He just talks over Sam without any concern or etiquette… He knows nothing about anything. He talks so fast so Sam cant get a word in… Ira is insufferable. 🤮
-
JimLuttMMQB the best!DG and Sam are awesome together. Tons of great insight and they make me laugh out loud.
-
j hamboneLove the show..hate the audioIts a shame that a show this good can’t figure out how to have professional audio production. Call in interviews are nearly unlistenable. Often cant hear all the roundtable on Thursday. They need to step it up.
-
cilley115 starsBest sports talk show around!!!

wolverine81Love Sam!Sam and Ira are the best for University of Michigan sports. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because the sound quality is not brilliant, particularly when there are callers (either listeners or people being interviewed). There are so many times when the callers are almost inaudible and Sam is super loud. Maybe we can crowdfund a new sound board for them. Could be the sound engineer as well, I don’t know. The worst was when Braylon Edwards’ dad used to have a segment. He would be mumbling inaudibly, so we would turn it up, and then Sam would speak and blow out our ear drums. If they could invest in the sound quality, this would be a five star podcast all the way because the content with Sam and Ira is A+!

jayray11111PassShow has regressed in terms of content.
-
BolivesOverrated!Sam no longer gets important info, usually CB’ing someone minutes after another high level reporter initiates. His left wing woke politics are boarderline racist and recently, threaten the foundations that the athletic department has been built upon. His blind promotion of Joe Milton over MacCaffrey in favor of diversity(Heisman candidate?) contributed to the current QB situation. He is not an expert in either basketball or football. The podcast segments are burdened with commercials. But otherwise, great show… /s

hatetheweb4 1/2 stars might be a more accurate ratingIf you had to choose just one pod focusing on Michigan athletics, this should be in your final four. Ira and Sam make a good team. Each adds something. Lots of terrific analysts/commentators are featured in the various segments. John U.Bacon, Steve Clarke, the Round Table speakers, Joe Simon and various former athletes or coaches stand out. Excellent for recruiting info except often gets repetitious when there is really nothing new to say. Interviews with coaches and with recruits and their coaches and parents are another strong point. Ads that come from nowhere are a major annoyance - motivation to listen less. The very loud The Ticket at the beginning of each new episode is a major bother and became an ear worm. Turn down the volume on the intro. Also Sam will raise the same issues and make the same comments with different speakers in a day’s segments or even over 2 or 3 days. The repetition and the intro repeated in each of 11 segments each day is why I subtracted half a star, but in fairness I will acknowledge that the repetition probably reflects the fact that this pod is taken from a radio show, and the radio audience no doubt changes through the day, so some one commuting at 8:00 a.m. will be longer listening at 8:30 while someone tuned in at the latter time wouldn’t have heard Sam make the same point half an hour earlier. But as a podcast one can listen to all of the show or as many segments as one wants.

pnw_dentistPublic health is not politicsI have been listening to Sam and Ira on the Michigan Insider for years now. In reading the reviews I see folks complaining about the political slant of the show. I appreciate that you guys address all sports issues, even when they are difficult and may intersect with politics. Keep up the good work and DON’T EVER CHANGE!
-
Bokee88I used to love this show…I used to listen to several segments a day and I NEVER missed the Mgoblog, Bacon and Recruiting Roundups. I also would listen to everything on Mondays to hear them breakdown the games. For the last couple of years the politics have seeped into so many of the topics that I can’t take it. It would be better if they acknowledged more than one side but it’s clear these guys are true Ann Arbor natives. They don’t even realize they are turning people off because they are in such a bubble.
-
MeeechiganTo politicalLove the university of Michigan information, find it hard to listen to the rest of the show due to it’s political slant. Sports is sports, politics is politics
-
GroovyappSam and IraGood team, great show. Knowledgeable and Entertaining. They are my #1 go to for UM sports. So good that OSU fans tune in to catch up on the latest UM news. Sam rocks it! I also highly recommend the “Michigan Insider” with Sam and Tim… in some aspects, an even better show.
-
dweavefreshMichigan ConfidentialI only listen to Sam and Ira for real up to date news on Michigan. I love how Sam frames insider information, without giving up too much info. Sam is always spot on and I appreciate his integrity, by not taking advantage of the relationships hr has built.
-
dabatman99Mixed bagGo to source for info on Michigan football. No one is more plugged into recruiting news than Sam is. That being said it can be difficult to listen to at times because he can get too political. He seems to care a little too much about the color of someone’s skin.
-
SBM2442Solid Content but...Really solid content, you gotta pick and choose cuz some of the podcasts don’t have any information that I’m interested in. But oh mannnnn skip the first 2 mins of every episode so you can skip that annoying “THE TICKET”. That’s gotta be one of the worst intros I’ve ever heard.
-
AEGeorgeLove this showIf you’re a Michigan fan, this show needs to be on your list.
-
Del tha funkee homosapien 79Always a must listen!Sam and Ira are always on point and if you’re a Michigan fan, there is no better daily listen for all things U of M sports.
-
aamdavis9Wear a mask! Support socialism! Was decent when the show stuck to michigan sports instead of virtue signaling and pushing liberal agendas. Unsubscribed, suggest ya’ll do the same.
-
Delano RogersBest UM podcast in the BusinessBecause of Sam’s recruiting news, interviews with coaches, and regular guests, this is the most informative and consistent podcast on UM sports. I’ve been listening for almost 10 years. This is a great and long run for a podcast and morning radio show.
-
Albert L IISweetSam and Ira are a life line to a great time in my life not only in Ann Arbor but just a great time. I just can’t find these opinions, ideas and just plain old home spun talk. Straight out of Flinttown, long live the coney dog, hail the Verners shake.
-
princesharifThanks for the Sweet Pea love and respect for wrestlers! Thanks for keeping up to date on all things UM as a Detroit transplant living in VA Beach. I haven’t felt compelled to comment until today. Pernell Whitaker was absolutely a celebrity who appreciated his fans and was very approachable. Also as someone who was once involved in and remains a fan of professional wrestling, I would like to say thank you for the respect you showed to the guys & gals of the business. Also thank you for refraining from saying anything derogatory, although I entirely agree that it is live entertainment and not a live “sport”. If either of you makes it to the Hampton Roads region drinks are on me!

JK_313Craig Ross is a national treasureToday’s monologue from Mr. Craig Ross, Esq. should be worth college credit. Thanks for a long laugh in a dark time.
