This is what rewatch podcasts SHOULD be! It’s really endearing to see how Matt and Ryan (as a relatively new viewer to the series) dive into the fun that Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman was meant to be. So often this iteration is mocked or looked down upon as being camp, cheesy, and unauthentic, so I’ve always felt like it’s never brought up in a positive light. Matt and Ryan do a great job covering each episode, very fairly breaking down the critical elements from storytelling, dialogue, effects, costumes and the like by calling out what works and what doesn’t, but never losing that inherent love of what Superman represents. Ultimately, the guys have fun which carries over to us as listeners and is EXACTLY what you want from a podcast about Lois & Clark. Keep up the great work guys!!

I am revisiting Lois and Clark now that it’s on HBOMax! Immediately searched for a PodCast! So happy I found this! Love the dynamic between the hosts. Guests have been great as well! I look forward to continuing!

I’ve listened to a several episodes and I don’t think the hosts even like the show. It seems like they spend most of the time criticizing the show. Well the spend most of the time criticizing when they actually do an episode once every line 2 months or so.

When the hosts actually stay on the topic at hand it’s not bad. They don’t edit out any of their extraneous stuff so it can get a little tiresome when they go off on unrelated tangents. Half the time at least one of the hosts, of not both, admit to not having paid any attention which baffles me. If you don’t want to watch then don’t. They also have a habit of getting super SJW which gets old real fast. Yes this show was made in the 90s, no certain things might not old up to today’s standards. It is what it is. Overall though this is a fairly enjoyable podcast.

*Since Apple and/or the podcast team doesn’t appear to want to publish my original review, I’ll just do it again.* Long story short, this is a great rewatch podcast for the nostalgia aspect, but it’s a scattered mess that needs to be organized. Matt and Ryan don’t seem to pay attention to the episodes before reviewing them, and make frequent comments admitting they don’t know what’s going on in the plot. They go off on constant tangents, especially if there’s a guest host, and they don’t edit these out. The podcast can run up to two hours because of this. They’ve also started really laying on Social Justice Warrior rants and complaints about ‘Lois & Clark,’ which really kills the enjoyment of a campy COMIC BOOK SHOW from the early ‘90s. The manufactured outrage over everything now-days is really tiresome. Three stars at best. Could easily be five if Matt and Ryan decide to commit their attention to the episodes, edit out the unrelated filler, and leave their PC opinions at the door to simply enjoy the harmless nostalgia.

I have not seen any of LOIS & CLARK since I was a child but heard that there might be some good old laffs in here - and free to boot! Normally you have to pay top dollar for that kind of thing... Anyway, I got what I wanted and then some when I started listening. I guess I gotta watch the show now...goddangit

I just finished all the back catalog of this show this morning & you guys have done a great job. And for someone who hates the current DC movie characterization of Superman but grew up loving the character from Sup's movies 1 & 2 & Smallville & L + C this has been a great way to relive the glory days when DC heroes were actual good guys :) Keep it up boys; I can't wait for season 2! Also if anyone is interested 'Always Hold on to Smallville' is a great podcast but BvS gets an F- someone please stop Zack Snyder. Oh & Teri, they are "spectacular".

I can't put into words how much fun I have listening to this show. Being a Superman fan I was really excited to hear at they thought of the original series. To find out they love it as much as I do made me love the podcast and show even more. Keep up the good work guys and love how u two talk about Kids' WB! and The WB shows too.
