Little too full of himself

Hey RK and Jake—give Sav’ell Smalls a double helmet sticker for the UCF game. The shift to 11 personnel was super successful because Sav’ell was a dog. He was the key blocker on their best run plays, was huge in pass pro, AND had a nice catch for a first down.

Anyone else wish that RK and Jake would just kiss for like 2-7 minutes??

This is the best most consistent podcast on the buffs right now. They have created a great community as well.

I love the Buffs and appreciate great content. If you’re looking for an objective viewpoint on CU, this isn’t it, but to their credit they don’t hide that fact. They are knowledgeable about a lot of things CU like recruiting and who they’re interested in, but when you have two hosts, some disagreement is ok, and Jake and RK agree on nearly everything. They do spend far too much time on the haters of CU and agree with everything Coach Prime is doing. You can disagree but don’t be disagreeable.

RK could do standup if this DNVR thing doesn’t work out. The list of potential CU defensive coordinators troll job had me laughing for days. As did RK’s edible story. Love Jake too. They are so incredibly insightful, have terrific rapport, and get some killer guests. I never miss an episode.

Best college football podcast there is

I’ve loved RK’s passion for the Buffs since the pre-BSN days, and I love most of DNVR’s shows. This one just isn’t it and I can’t support it anymore. Jake doesn’t have any experience as a real reporter and can’t give any inside looks to the program outside of what he gets told by RK and Neely because he hasn’t cultivated sources of his own. His “news” contributions exclusively come from big twitter users who everyone interested in the program already follows or the vlogs posted by Coach Prime’s media teams. Also, the obsession with “the haters” (AKA anyone who doesn’t project the 2024 team as Big 12 champs/in the playoffs) has gotten so old. It feels like it’s at least one segment per day and at least 5-10 minutes of every interview they do with a guest on nothing-burger articles or rankings put out by other outlets. They said the same negative stuff about people who thought last year’s team would struggle to get bowl eligible, and then guess what? The team went 4-8, so maybe those weren’t “haters” but rather people giving fair analysis. Want to get hyped? This might be the show for you, but there are better options out there for serious coverage and analysis of the program (Adam at 247 or Brian at Buffzone) if you want people who aren’t afraid to talk about the good - and the bad.

This podcast is now my favorite CFB podcast. Im a USC fan and Alum, this is the podcast I watch and listen to the most, I have started following the CU Buffs content since Coach Prime got there. The Segment with Matt and Jake talking about the "Old Whites" had me dying. It was too good, so hillarious!! Great job you guys and keep up the awesome job and killer content!!

This is the best podcast for Colorado Buffs football. RK and Jake are highly knowledgeable about the game and give daily podcast on everything Buffs. Also, Coach Prime loves their coverage so they get extra insights from the team through Uncle Neely from Thee Preegame Show. Highly recommend!

This is by far the best Podcast for CU football and basketball. Great coverage of recruiting to X's and O's. The hosts are entertaining and they give up to date information.

…been sitting in Folsom Field since the 80s and gobble up any and all Buff news I can get. Jake and RK mean well, but the approach is at the frat boy level. And since DS was hired, it’s alll cheerleading all the time. Their interview skills are not great. I still listen, but I wish they’d act more like reporters and less like video gaming fanboys. But that seems to be DNVRs approach.

I start my mornings with Jake saying, “Buff Nationnnnnn” and with the RK followup, “Lets goooooo.” This podcast is the Prime Buffs podcast. There is no rival that is anywhere close. Expert knowledge and fan passion. The content is high level. It’s so good, I became a diehard to support it - and I don’t even live near Colorado.

There is not a better daily Buffs podcast anywhere! RK and Jake bringing it every weekday plus the greatest list of guests.

This group has really stepped up since the hiring of Coach Prime. The daily content has been awesome and love when they bring on guests. Must listen for all die hard buff fans

There is not a better podcast around covering all things Buffs! RK is a true homegrown Buffs fanatic and Jake is the Robin to his Batman (or the other way around). The boys keep it light yet extremely informative and celebrate everything that makes it great to be a Buff! I rely heavily on these guys to keep me informed on what’s going on in a Boulder since I live in Massachusetts and couldn’t be more grateful for these guys. Buff Nationnnnnnnn Let’s Go! #skobuffs
