This is SOOOO true. We all need to set a strong example for our children. Nothing is more rewarding to me then to see my son follow in my footsteps as a great role model and involved Dad. Thx for the message and another reason to take your kids fishing!

First, as a child of God and Christ follower and second an avid fisherman, and I guess third a business owner love the podcast. Although I guess being a business owner comes before fishing I’d much rather be fishing.

I’ve been in business a long time and have NEVER experienced an enterprise that offers so much value for both fishing and the soul. Constantly amazed at these guys. “Thanks” doesn’t cover it, but thanks.

This podcast helped me to be a better fisherman and just a better person. I work on the road 7 days a week so I don’t really have time to go to church but I use these unchurched episodes to listen on Sundays and helps me connect with God again. Thankyou Joe

This podcast is a great show. I say that and I don’t even live in a coastal part of Florida where I get to go salt water fishing much anymore but I still listen to it. My favorite episodes are the Unchurched episodes on Sundays. These episodes are just short messages meant to help people. Whether it’s getting through a tough time in your life, trying to find a better connection with God, or finding more purpose, meaning, and happiness in your life these episodes try to help people in a casual and authentic way. Great show and highly recommended!

This is such a informative and awesome podcast to listen to and the unchurched episodes offer great spiritual advice. Ever since I started listening to the podcast, I have purchased tackle and mastery corses witch have been really awesome. As an experienced freshwater angler, I thought this “saltwater” game couldn’t be that different… boy was I wrong. After an ample helping of humble pie, I came across Salt Strong and haven’t looked back. Simply put, the value of the Insider Club, the course content and the online community is second to none! Must have for all anglers!!

At first I was skeptical about joint the insiders club. Then I took the time to watch the surf fishing mistakes pod cast and now will be joining. Y’all are killing it. I love the amount of help and info you’re giving. I’m so dang tired of getting skunked. It’s been a few years since I’ve had a great day of catching. That’s salt and fresh water. My 13 years old said that I’ve angered Poseidon. That is fine because with help for y’all it’s time to put meat in the freezer. Love the pods.

Love it guys. I live up north now used to live in Seminole Pinellas Co. I will return home for good someday and I will be a little bit smarter. And when I’m down there on vacation I know what kind of bait to be getting and where to fish. Thanks guys wonderful content.

Most of their episodes feel like infomercials for their club. There is good info in some episodes, but also a lot of junk. I was subscribed for a bit, but it isn’t worth picking through their episodes for those few that have good content. And I never listened to their episodes on religion – from the few I heard, they’re very conservative, which isn’t my cup of tea. So, between those, advertising their club, and other filler material, I only found value in maybe 10% of the content overall.

Use to be a very entertaining podcast with a pleasantly curious host and great interviews. Followed these guys since back when they went by the name Fish Strong. Unfortunately this podcast has devolved into one big commercial for their paid “Insider Club.” It’s a shame because the podcast and Insider Club could have co-existed and promoted each other organically (without feeling so sleazy). Promote the membership service at the beginning and end of the show and carry on with a great podcast - instead the choice was made to weave the Insider Club into the narrative of just about every episode. In any event, if you give it a shot stick to the episodes with guests - the hosts tend to shed the used car salesman outfit when a guest is present. The “Unchurched” episodes are also enjoyable - in those eps. the host discusses matters and observations on family and faith.

SaltStrong has been an awesome and super informative platform to help me transition from northern fresh water fishing to South Florida inshore salt water fishing. They are my go to for all fishing questions!!

I really love the podcast! It has helped my time on the water with my son! My son lives with his mother about 5 hours away, so when we get together to fish, its great to be able to put him on the fish. Joe and Luke have really helped us create memories, which is such a rich blessing! I am a SaltStrong Insider and I take their Insider classes paired with their podcasts, and I have become a better guide for putting my son on the fish. They give out a wealth of knowledge for free it makes you wonder what gems they keep behind the pay wall in the insiders club... since moving down to Charleston a year ago, this podcast (and their YouTube videos) has been unbelievably helpful in helping me figure out what the heck to do when fishing for all inshore species Thanks for the work you do guys! P.s. I don’t like country but i catch myself singing that theme song to myself atleast once a day lol

Joe Simonds is super entertaining and his brother levels it out with a very even keeled and methodical approach. I love the positive messaging and these guys have absolutely helped me catch more fish. If you are interested in inshore fishing, this is a must listen.
