IrisbrooksThis is my favoriteI love this podcast. Grateful because this is how I found Kelee meditation! Some of my favorite episodes are Ron Rathburn, Dr. Michael Gervais, and Clayton from OMBE Surf.

educated surferUp and downSome of it is quality surf discussion, but when we start hearing about how smart Jordan Peterson is I think the show has lost its way. I was here for surf talk not a rube who can’t see through a scam artist at work. Not necessarily for college graduates.

SlowBurro9876Learn and enjoyAs every other reviewer says…I wish I found this sooner. I love the quality of the conversations. Each is unique and has its own gems that can be applied to your surfing journey.

IdoranWill improve your surfing and outlook on lifeI’m a 32 year old guy with 7 years surfing and I wish I had found this sooner. If surfing is one of the most important things in your life that you looked up surfing podcasts and found this review, just start listening to it

SportFan91Can’t take the mansplainingThis faux-guru, who tries to play act at being deeply connected to nature, again and again relegates women to the sidelines with assumptions and stereotypes, my favorite being that women don’t hunt. He needs to leave his self-important bubble and get out into the real world. Just having one or two white women on your podcast doesn’t cut it, buddy.

Beercan72Keeping the Stoke Alive! This is a thought-provoking podcast that keeps my stoke levels high through weeks of not being able to get out to surf. Michael Frampton’s topics, techniques and excellent guests get me excited to try some new twists to improve my surfing. I’m an expert surfer who just turned 50, and it has been harder to surf at the level that I once did. Surf Mastery has really helped me to stay fit, stay keen to improve, and he brings a smile to my face.

Laurence SGEpicI’ve learnt so much from this podcast and seen great improvements in my surfing as result. Not found anything else like it

E-FeezieGlad you’re still goingMichael, I really enjoyed your recent episodes with Gee McCormick and Brad Gerlach. I appreciated Gee’s advise to take what the wave gives and not to force maneuvers. I’ve certainly been guilty of that. Brad Gerlach is always an interesting interview. His advise on entering waves (not popping up) was brilliant. It paid dividends immediately during my next couple surfs and I now plan to purchase WaveKi. I think this is the best surfing podcast on the web. Keep up the great work. Eric in Jax Fla.

pjtrixLast Ep?!?!Ahhhhhhh man ending the poddy? Say it ain’t so, I was getting bummed on the gaps in episode releases and now you are gonna do us dirty and up and quit the game? Whether or not you’ve covered enough ideas to keep people busy working on improving performance in the line up( I agree that a lot of material has been spanned through the years) your interview style and manner is informative and entertaining and I think interviews with members of the surferati just for the sake of conversation could be worth exploring(maybe under a different title?🤔🤷) another possibility could be deep dives into board parts, do a series just on the revolution of fins with people relevant at the time and/or people relevant now and provide us lay people with the insight of decades of R&D and fin building, rails, yada yada yada, like mastering the knowledge of the quiver as well as the line up

LohenaIncredibly valuable!I’m working my way through this series and find it incredibly helpful. For some reason most of this seems to be overlooked in the surfing community. But just like anything else, focusing on skills to get better at a highly technical endeavor is necessary. Way more important than buying more new boards or fins to think that will make a difference. Thanks for all the great work and keep it up!

BNeibelGreat Info for Beginners & IntermediatesI’m a snowboarder and moved out to CA a few years back, so I had to get into surfing to get my board fix in. This podcast has given me a ton of great info that helped with my progression to becoming an intermediate surfer. Cheers!

treyze_Top-notch perspective and information. A+This podcast has changed my perspective on surfing and life. Michael’s neurological background and approach to interviewing is like no other podcast I’ve heard, especially in the realm of surfing podcasts. Would recommend to anyone trying to better their surfing and life in general! Thank you for these timeless interviews! 🤙🏼

SprayfaceGreat interviewsVery interesting and informative interviews for anyone who wants to get better at surfing. The most interesting one though is the one with Matt Formston. So good.

WootwootstupidhashtagsGreat but interview more female surfers pleaseLove this podcast but there are so many women pro surfers and women in the surf industry that have valuable insight and tips and stories that should be shared. Mahalo!

a sight for sore armsMine the StokeTutorials are all well and good, but Surf Mastery transcends the How To program, offering instead a deep dive into surfing, not just as a skilled craft, but as a relation of body, mind, spirit, and of course the sea. No matter where you’re at in your journey, you’ll benefit from this podcast so long as you have an open mind and stoke in your heart. Truly a paradigm shift in every episode!

YungJuju69Such a great showThis show is a hidden gem. Mike interviews the best people, and asks the questions I find myself wanting to ask while listening. With such a wide variety of perspectives and techniques that the interviewees offer and share, that wealth of knowledge is extremely helpful in terms of progression, and having the right mindset while surfing. l love this podcast, and highly encourage everyone to listen! Bravo!

Le&DroSurfing Culture meets progression and performanceAmazing show!! Progression should not be done individually, it requires appropriate guidance from those who are more experienced by trial and error or were passed down the same knowledge.
-
dcalfoWish I'd heard this 1.5 yrs ago...I love this interview because it brings to light different surf goals. Surfing doesn't have to be just about 'higher/faster.' I am grateful for this perspective, and only wish I'd heard it a year ago when I was struggling with where I was/what I felt, and what I thought I had to do to get 'better.'

rzadigiGoldmineI’ve started listening from podcast #1 and each one of these contains so much information to help my surfing. Anyone who wishes to improve their surfing (which is everyone) should listen up! Fantastic stuff. Thanks so much for making these!

a-rods pod nodsSo goodMike does an amazing job of breaking down all aspects of surfing, with the help of pros and others amazing experts in their fields. The most practical surf podcast for improving your own surfing. Awesome podcast
-
shoeburgAwesome show!Great interviews with awesome people. The show really helps improve your approach to surfing, and I've also learned of many tips for overall health and wellbeing that not only helps me enjoy surfing more, but enjoy life more. Gets me stoked!!

The Tap HeadProperly Addicting.I follow and listen to Chris Mills, and found the interview he did on Surf Mastery about body health, mobility, longevity. I've been hooked ever since. What started out as instructional and psychological support to overcome a surf injury turned into an educational, scientific, nutritional, and all-around interesting rabbit hole. Each episode provides heaps to learn and ponder. Framton gives a little discription to each episode that's essentially like the water's surface: until you jump in you're not quite sure how deep it goes. I'm still swimming. Keep 'em coming! - From the Bahamas!

Manolo of DiegoBest Surf PodcastI have been surfing since I was five and I am Occy's age but this podcast has taught me a lot of cool little things to try. Please keep them coming!!!!!!!!!!!!

My name was taken!ExcellentThis podcast is excellent. Michael has some incredibly high calibre people on the podcast. He's also very good at summarising what his guests have to say. He's set the bar pretty high. I have listened to many of the podcasts at least 3-4 times and made notes, it is so full of good content.

KonaBrettabsolutely epicAloha from Kona. I had to take a business trip to DC recently and this podcast made my flight so enjoyable. I don’t know how this guy is so clever, but he thinks of all the little things that surfers don’t think about. I am a volunteer physical therapist with the WSL during the triple crown and this podcast will help be to be a better surfer and a better physical therapist when it comes to performance with other surfers. This podcast is a true gift!
-
