    The Acting Turned Me Away
If you’re looking for a story to listen to and you want the acting to sound like they all came straight out of an episode of Blue’s Clues, then this is it. The acting and narrating is extremely amateurish. There’s a person heavily narrating the story but also plays a character in the story at the same time. If I wanted an audio book, I would have listened to one. On top of that, there’s these random lengthy pauses with an instrumental song; a very unnecessary addition to the episodes. An intermission I guess is what it’s trying to be. I disagree with a vast majority of the positive comments here. This was not at all what I was looking for. Limetown and Case 63 are far superior stories/dramas to listen to. This “podcast story” is merely an audio book series.

    Writing is laughably poor
    Yeah pass. Don’t bother

    My all time favorite
I’ve binged dozens of audio dramas and Sage and Savant is still my favorite. In fact, I would say this story is one of the best stories I’ve ever been exposed to. The production is super fun, the pacing immaculate, the characters are complex and beautiful, and the story is funny, heart-warming, uniquely interesting, and exceptionally thrilling. My favorite season is season 3 during which I binged multiple episodes a day. I would love to tell you my favorite parts but I don’t want to spoil it. ;)

    Listen up, time travellers!
One of the smartest podcasts I know, this intricately created, beautifully paced show is just elegant in its construction and enormous fun to listen to. You'll learn stuff, but in that fun way that makes you feel smart. And the connection between the main characters is compelling and heartbreaking and utterly real. Do not miss out on this one.

    Steampunk Time Travel Adventure!
A fascinating and fast-paced adventure that follows a female mad scientist and her partner as they time travel or "transmigrate" through history. There's nothing like this in the audio drama space! Great acting and production.

    OMG This show
So I had know about this show, heck I had even talked with the creator behind it. But I had not gotten to until about a week ago. And all I can do now is kick myself for not getting to this one sooner. I love the story, there is a real growth occuring in all areas. The characters have changed in many ways since the start while still sticking to their core and I love it. The voice work and audio work on the show is so good. And OMG the music breaks, I could write a review based on just this part. All the new bands and artists this show as turned me on to ... look really you need to check this show out. Everything about it is just so well done and you are just missing out by not binging it all right now.
  • The Foothold Saga
    Very solid show
Sage and Savant has got great writing, and I like the narration heavy format. It's a great balance between audiobook and audiodrama. Clear sound quality too, and not too heavy on sound effects, which an be cheesy in a lot of audiodramas. They have a big backlog so lots to binge!

    Streampunk,Time Travel & Inuendos!
A well written, well acted audio drama mixing both the steampunk genre with time travel and doing it well. The feel of this show reminds me of a old time radio dramas. The musical interlude was a perfect fit for the feel. I love the alternative world history as well. The narrator's snark is a lot of fun on top of an already well written show!

    OMGGGGGG Good
Unique! That is the one word I think best describes this podcast. While there are a few borrowed tropes for the most part this is a very unique concept and idea. Time travel has been a little played out recently, but this is a very fresh look at it. Plus the voice actors that are Sage and Savant are both excellent.

    Not bad
Is it a little amateurish in production quality? Yeah. But is the story fun and interesting? For sure. So is it worth listening to? Absolutely.

Audio Drama Reviews: Great Victorian Time Travel Fun
"A time travel story with a frame narrative set in the Victorian era tackles the overdone sub-genre of time travel in speculative fiction and gives it a unique spin akin to the Assassin's Creed video game franchise. ... the creators of Sage and Savant do a marvelous job at weaving in serial storytelling tropes and episodic fiction elements. And while it doesn’t answer some of the more illuminated questions of the season, it does act as a nice gateway into the world of steampunk and time travel fiction."

    Awesome Steampunk Adventure
This audio drama includes a strong female lead, lots of science, and time travel, so lots of history as the adventurers travel to different moments throughout history. Really well written and acted.

What a fun and exciting adventure through time. Eddie has written a wonderful tale of two friends who become...well, I don't want to give too much away...as they travel through the ages. Love the history, love the acting, and love these artists!

Lots of fun while still being intelligent
Witty, smart, thought-provoking, and lots of fun. The story is rich and the drunken philosophical discussion is hilarious! I imagine this is how really intelligent people talk when they're drunk. The episode is a complete story, but part of a great continuing saga. I look forward to hearing more episodes.
