Before I found this podcast, I had no idea there were this many people who care about Pirates baseball

Could be 1/3 the length. 2/3 is irrelevant childish jabbering. And the audio is horrendous on most episodes

Thoroughly enjoy the work these guys do. Very knowledgable and frequent coverage of the Buccos. Great guests on their shows sometimes as well. A must listen for any Pirates fan, and dare I say the best fan-led coverage around for the team!

Admittedly got hooked into an episode when Eric from fangraphs was a guest, but now I listen to every minute. Great work fellas

This is easily my favorite Pirates podcast and is a ton of fun to listen to. But the guys microphones sound so far off in volume level it’s jarring. Specifically one of them seems to whisper and another one is yelling into it. Isn’t there a way to even this out? Thanks guys!

This podcast is at its best when the hosts are angry. So plenty of opportunities for excellence given the team they cover! Kudos!

The Pirates are completely undeserving of anyone’s love. But, like DiNardo and Tyler, some of us keep coming back for more. I’ve been a fan of the show for several years now, starting when Ryan was the co-host. I appreciate the guys keeping close tabs on the Bucs so I don’t have to! The Pirates are bad and ownership is worse. That said, Pirates DIY media is the best around and these guys are the best of the bunch. I’ll seek DiNardo’s opinion over any cranky writer at the Post Gazette.

I can no describe how happy and excited I was to have found this podcast. Within the first 15 min of listening to an episode I knew I would be listening to these guys weekly. They are sharing intelligent Pirates baseball talk. It’s so far to listen to the General fanbase whine about payroll and the Pirates and put all the blame on the Pirates when it’s not the team but MLB issues and stays positive while talking about things. Die hard Pirates Fan, and happy to support this podcast!!!! #LetsGoBucs

Hosts with little actual knowledge of the game besides what they hear others talk about Bad sound quality - weird drops and music If I wanted to listen to two random talk about baseball I could go into any local sports bar, and I’ll learn more from the bar flies than these two.

These folks and the Locked On folks are must-listens for any right-minded Bucs fan. Analytical, critical and witty. They have optimism but are cautious and also realistic. Their takedowns of Pirates fans on Twitter are totally hilarious and it’s the bombest! “Guys, it’s not 1985 anymore... Pitchers need rest!” Thank you for the laughs.

I stumbled upon this podcast two weeks ago and loved it. The hosts are funny and have good chemistry. It's my favorite Pirates podcast to listen to! Great sound quality too.

This is the best Pittsburgh Pirates Podcast out there. These guys actually know what they are talking about, and that's hard to find nowadays. You can tell these guys are from the Pittsburgh area and know the day to day happenings without a bunch of biased opinions. It's by the fans for the fans. It's the real deal. Check it out. #NS9

North Shore Nine is a great show for Pittsburgh Pirates fans! Great Pirates baseball insight mixed in with entertaining humor between the hosts every week during the season and off season. It's a must listen for all Die-Hard Pittsburgh Pirates fans. Great quality show!! Let's Go Bucs!!

I'm not much of a sports nut, but this sounded really good and seemed very informative. These two guys had good chemisry together and made for an interesting show. Glad I listened to get more insight on my Pirates. Definitely worth the listen.

This is an entertaining podcast that doesn't put you to sleep unlike others. The production value is above average as you can clearly hear the hosts. Nothing sounds 'amateur hour' about this. If you want a good podcast to listen to about the Pittsburgh Pirates, I would recommend this one!

North Shore Nine is a clean, family show that has top-notch professional quality, along with great hosts, where you'd think you were listening to broadcast radio personalities. It sure helps that you can hear what the guys say and they really know their stuff too! Definitely worth subscribing too.

The North Shore Nine is one of the best baseball podcasts today. The hosts are knowledgable and critically break down and analyze the Pittsburgh Pirates each week. If you're a fan of the Pirates, this podcast is a must listen each week.
