    Disappointed
I listened to the podcast on Channel Islands hoping to learn more about the island. The podcasters couldn’t remember the name of the hike locations. Really disappointing.

    Too much personal garbage
We don’t care about your divorce, or the girlfriends who you sleep with! This was supposed to be a photography podcast not a rehash about all your failures in love!

Great show for beginners AND experienced Astrophotographers
Jeff Harmon really nailed it with his description during the intro of the last episode. I wish I had this podcast when I was figuring out astrophotography for myself, five years ago. In that time I’ve run two residential summer camps in locations with relatively dark skies (currently in Southeast Elbert County, CO). I have immediate access to some awesome places. I feel like an amateur could listen to any single episode and glean the information that took me years to learn about the basics of astrophotography. Fun podcast, awesome guests, and I love that they discuss mistakes and how they learn new things by making them or not realizing that they could have done something differently.

Solid podcast from two nice dudes
I’m a listener and fellow landscape photography podcaster (Hey fellas). I think this podcast is quite solid. I appreciate how hard it can be to produce a quality podcast on this topic and these guys do a great job of it. Their enthusiasm is intoxicating and I love hearing from them interview some of the same guests I have with a different take. I can admit that not every episode excites me, but when they have great guests on and talk about stories with them, it’s always entertaining! Keep up the great work!

    So down to earth
It's fun listening to something unscripted and natural and fun - they go where the conversation takes them and I love that!

    Love hearing about your adventures!
Love hearing about how your adventures have gone and getting tips on how to improve my pictures. I am going to try astrophotography now!

Slowly, but it’s surely loosing me
I’ve loved and listened to this podcast since they launched episode 1. They’re two guys who have a great passion for landscape photography. One of my favorite things about them is they’re both relatable. However, lately it seems every episode consists of them apologizing for stuff. I enjoy hearing them talk about photography, but don’t enjoy hearing sad stories about their personal life. I’m not trying to sound insensitive, but it’s getting depressing. I hope they get back on track so listeners can here more about their photography adventures.

Too many personal anecdotes, not enough astrophotographery
    Title says it.

    Great podcast
I really enjoyed hearing about the adventures and misadventures of you too. This reminds me a lot of my photography experiences. Thank you and keep up the work. I just wish you post on a more reliable schedule. they start on a topic one week and leave you hanging for weeks to come waiting to hear what had happened.

    Likeable, but with issues
First of all, the two hosts are extremely likable, with engaging personalities and passion that is palpable, and seem to have a strong commitment to bring everyone along for the ride, sharing their successes and pitfalls along the way in their adventures to photograph Utah, Oregon, California, Nevada, and beyond. The show either is not edited or feels like it's not edited, and that's good and bad. It feels "real", but it it also can be extremely laborious to listen to, with many non-sequiturs, repeated parts, and elongated parts that make me want to fast-forward. They also get mired in senseless details, such as trying to book motel rooms or other nonsensical details that don't advance the story or podcast that, again, make me want to fast-forward. They do admit some of their mistakes, some of which are mistakes that a seasoned photographer would be unlikely to make, and that's alternately refreshing and concerning for people who are leading photography workshops. It's okay to admit mistakes, of course, but when photographers are making amateurish sorts of mistakes or are otherwise unfamiliar with specific locations, would you want to sign up for their photography workshop? For night photography, they seem to be primarily concerned with Milky Way photography, rather odd since the Milky Way is only out part of the time, and there can be amazing photography done during full moons, half moons, or at other times. Yet this is typically ignored. If you are interested in light painting or otherwise photographing during these periods, photographing natural landscapes, abandoned areas, manmade items, or other forms of photography done during moonlight, don't expect to find that here. I like a much tighter editing, something that doesn't go on for 90 minutes when half the time would be more than adequate. And if it covered a greater array of night photography, that would probably pull more listeners in as well.

    Pulling it Off
When I first found your show on iTunes I subscribed just to see how such a visual media would be talked about in audio format wondering if it could be pulled off. You Crush it! Now I find myself laying awake when I should be sleeping making images of the night sky. Not sure if I should thank you Just yet. Keep up the awesome work, Love the show.

    One of the Best
I listen to a few podcasts on photography. The thing I like the most about this one is that the hosts are such laid-back narrators. It's absolutely fun to listen to their stories. I find myself laughing quite often and probably startling the drivers next to me at stop lights. I listen the most when I'm driving and Brendon and Aaron definitely make my favorite activity amusing and identifiable. Keep it up guys! Merry Christmas!

    Great Podcast
It's a fun and entertaining podcast. It's nice listening to not only the successes but also the things that didn't work out for them. It makes me realize I'm not the only one that doesn't always get it right, which is a good thing, not a bad thing for Aaron and Brendon. Definitely recommend listening to this podcast.

    Wonderful Podcast
Both Aaron and Brendon do such an amazing job of not just talking the technical details but also sharing the challenges and sometimes mundane details that we have all experienced on different photographic adventures. You can really hear the passion they both have for the craft and the process as they share their stories. I really enjoy the astrophotography adventures and the wonderful tips they offer. Keep it up!

Inspired me to go on a Photog Adventure of my own!
I listened to 2 episodes and I'm hooked. Brendon and Aaron share not only their successes and hardships as they travel to seek epic landscape and astrophotography shots, but do it in a way that inspires the listener to do the same. They share their knowledge and insights, as well as gear and camera tricks, that will make your outings more fruitful. They occasionally feature guests that really enhance the show. A must-listen for landscape and nightscape photographers.

    Favorite podcast
I've only been into photography for about a year now, but both landscape and Astro are by far my favorite. It's only fitting that this podcast is my favorite! Everything from your pros and cons segments, to the tips of the week. I have found every episode helpful and can't wait to put these tips to use. P.S: if you guys ever end up in Alta, California like Dr Bryony Richards or a nearby are, we can explore the night sky at my favorite fishing spot that ive only seen 2 people go to. 😂🙏🏻

    Excellent podcast!
I feel this podcast hits key points that most of us beginner Astro/landscape enthusiasts struggle with. With a combination of reviewing various techniques, and gear that Aaron and Brendon field test has only elevated my progression in landscape and astrophotography. So in short... Great podcast, very informative, and fun to listen to! I can't recommend it enough, and Aaron and Brendon you guys are great!

Great balance of adventure & explanation
Great job guys! Good job of explaining where and when to go and how to get there. But once you're there, I really appreciate the tips on technique. Particularly for astrophotography; I haven't found another podcast yet that covers this material.

Great to see a landscape / astrophotography podcast. Very under serviced style of photography when it comes to podcasts. Well worth the listen.
