plantpoweredrunnerHighly recommend for those on a personal athletic journeyHighly recommend this podcast for in depth ultra training advice and motivation. No matter your experience level, Chris offers insight into the backbones of training on all fronts - running, biking, cycling, and even paddle boarding. I haven’t been able to finance a personal trainer myself at this time in life and I look forward to each episode filled with detailed insight and authentic motivation. I use this podcast to help explore my athletic journey and bases for training plans. One day I plan to continue the conversation with a personal trainer, and Chris’ podcast will always be a great listen.

Chuckw123Great valueThis podcast is one of the best out there in terms of the actual value it provides. Chris does a great job of communicating training and endurance topics while backing them up with easy-to-understand explanations. No bells and whistles here and they aren’t needed! One of the best podcasts I’ve found for actually providing value.

Jake KertzInspiring Discussions - Changing MindsetsThis podcast has helped me to learn a ton about the ultra endurance world, without actually entering it. I’ve finished a few marathons and shorter events, but for the longest time struggled with my why. “Why do I keep signing up for longer events?” That’s a question that both others asked me, and what I asked myself. This podcast and Chris’s insight on how our minds work with respect to this topic helped me uncover that I was running to impress others. Of course I got a lot more out of running (improved health, sense of accomplishment in finishing, etc), but that was the main reason. Since that discovery, I’ve reset and gotten back to the core. I’ve fell back in love with running after taking a short break, and I couldn’t be happier to be on this journey we call life. This podcast gives training insights, important discussions on priorities, and raw inspiration to its listeners. Chris, as long as you create podcasts, I’ll consume them. Your principles apply to more than just running, and you’ve helped me become a better athlete and a better person. Give this podcast a listen and you won’t be disappointed. Let the reviews and podcast rating speak for itself.

treksue66yr femaleI have gain so much insight on the joy, creating a challenge, rest, 3 legged stool, of athletic endurance. I was not an athlete in my past but enjoyed biking and hiking to be in nature. My son asked me 5 years ago if I would like to do a triathlon. Of course I was excited to take the challenge not knowing how to swim, something new to learn. I have made podium 4x and am looking to do an Olympic distance in 2019. 2020 plan to do half Ironman and a full Ironman 2021. Using Chris wisdom, encouragement, on his podcast I am looking forward to the fun of meeting these challenges I am a very busy grandma/wife/mother/sister/friend but with keeping the 3 legged stool in mind my journey will be my special place

COc haaaackMy go to podcast every weekI absolutely love listening to Chris’ podblast. I started listening around episode 50 but have been able to catch up from episode 1 to current and it is awesome. There is so much info on every single show. There is something for everyone, no matter what the distance is- short or ultra. I have recently started running 50Ks and this podcast gets me thru my long runs and gives me a perspective of why things happen the way they do on the long runs. Thank you, Chris! Here is to many more episodes!
