altysinThoughtful and engagingAs a Reformed listener, I have some (relatively minor) theological differences with the hosts, but find their analysis of historical and current cultural issues to be consistently on point. Where their Lutheran theology informs a slightly different viewpoint than my own, I find it helpful to have some cross-pollination from a reformational brotherhood. The discussion is consistently relevant and yet without devolving into punditry. It also helpfully deals with historical issues. And of particular note to Reformed listeners, there is a fluency with Reformed thinkers I appreciate (no straw manning here).

Blake FarleyPodcast has outgrown FiskI love the podcast and I know Fisk is the founder, but he really brings it down. It’s hard to listen to episodes with him. He is just not at the level of the other hosts. I am thankful he is on less shows, but it may be time for him to step out completely. I do love the show!

CelestialnStay for Koontz and GrillsI’m a big fan of Prs. Grills and Koontz, who always offer interesting and thought-provoking commentary on complex and often unconsidered issues. It’s especially great to hear Pr. Grills again given Word Fitly seems to have wound down. I’m not really a fan of Pr. Fisk, however, who seems rarely to bring anything to the table except for cringy pop culture references and huh-what commentary that inevitably lowers the tone of the conversation. I’m not sure whether this is a limitation or a schtick, but if it’s the latter, please stop!

C.W.F.Amazing podcast, yall need to talk about Fatima!!!Someone with orthodox Anglican convictions here! This is one of my favorite podcasts. I'd love to get their thoughts on the Marian apparition in Fatima, especially as it relates to UFOs.

rightschuI,'m not alone!I am an LCMS member who's pastor listens only to NPR. I am so glad to find this podcast. I have finally found a place to think about what to do as a Christian boiling like a frog in the GULAG. God has blessed me with your ministry.

Geol from KreolConspiracly InterestingAt first I listened to this because Koontz sounds brilliant. I thought the more I’d listen, I’d be able to see through him, but I can’t. The guy’s just brilliant. I also listened because Fisk sounds like a conspiracy theorist. But I like what he has to say. Instead of Koontz saying “yeah, yeah” though, it’d be better if he gave more consolation. We’re all slogging through, and Fisk’s points are relatable.

PaduppleThe best podcast I’ve discovered in a yearIf you enjoy deep thinking about truth and reality, focused on the current times, this is that. As we seen Christendom recently buried, Christians are left wondering, “Where are we and what do we do now?” I greatly enjoy the sociological aspects and the interpretation of recent events in our government and culture, as well as the practical conclusions. Each episode leaves me with a clearer understanding and inspired to respond appropriately and scripturally. I am not Lutheran, but I am a Dutch Reformed Christian, yet I find it quite suitable to shared theology, piety, and practice. This is a time of crisis, and I find Christian unity that eclipses disagreements in theology and practice.

RevMDRThinking…Rather than finding someone with whom you will agree with every single point, find someone who will simply challenge you to think. Rev. Fisk and Dr. Koontz get you to ask the right questions.

The Seeking DiscipleAm Excellent Conversation on PowerOur world is constantly changing based on thoughts and ideas. People don’t see that ideas have consequences. This podcast explores this issue. I also appreciate the biblically based look at history and thinking. We need to know God’s thoughts on such issues.

George2265Beyond John Taylor GattiDr. Koontz and Pastor Fisk have provided a broader perspective on the history of education in the US. I hope more people will give their children freedom to grow into whole people through private education. School is a prison...

Perdix19The #1 Lutheran Podcast FeedRevFisk and Dr. Koontz are who we need to be listening to as our last stop on the way off the internet. BHoP has great discussion about living as a Christian in this broken world. SMChill and RevFisk’s sermons are full of great comfort and the teaching of the Christian faith. Listening to this podcast feed for the last year has helped me to trust Jesus more

LCMSCHAPGreat thinkingRev Fisk is honest and thoughtful - confessing the faith - not hiding the struggles. If you need to be on a device and can’t unplug, then spend your time here!

Barryfab5The BestI’d be hard pressed to name another individual who has affected my Christian life than Pastor Fisk. I am so thankful for his willingness to feed those of us not of his physical congregation and to be humble, open and honest about the struggles of this present age. To say he is a blessing is to put it mildly! The Bible is his handbook and he brings it back to that is every circumstance and example. So, so refreshing and what a good shepherd!

Porque ChopExcellent podcastsPr Fisk puts into words thoughts and feelings I’ve had but have not expressed. His podcast is exactly what thinking Christians need at this time in society. It’s wonderful to see what an excellent pastor he has become. A man of sorrows, as was Luther before him, and of course, our Lord Jesus.

aallen554Faith and ReasonI am currently discerning a new Church home and if I end up converting to Lutheranism; this gentleman and his pods casts will be a large reason . A beautiful communication of Faith and Reason. This podcast has truly been a blessing beyond measure.

MudMik13Favorite Lutheran PodcastRevFisk has been my favorite Lutheran pastor to listen and learn from since his days on Worldview Everlasting and his YouTube videos. He brings Scripture to you in a way only he can. I also have his first book Broken which is excellent as well. I can’t wait to start listening to the next podcast.

FutureLutheranPastorDudeSola ScripturaA great podcast by a great man about a greater God. Pastor Fisk ties everything to scripture. On a few rare occasions he gives his own spin on a matter, but will provide a disclaimer before he says it and fully recognizes that it is of his own and others speculation. All of his series are great, and I always struggle waiting for the next episode! Please go listen and enjoy!

cyrious22EnthrallingMaybe my favorite podcast I have ever listened to. It’s like Hardcore History, but better.

txelmoreAs ExpectedI titled the comment in this way because it is what I have come to expect from a pastor in the LCMS Church. I have come to expect this level of exegesis from pastors within the LCMS church because they care more for the souls of their hearers than being popular or lazy. They stick to the text of the Bible rather than trying to rationalize it; just plain ignore it in the hopes nobody notice; or even worse in many cases. It has been a breath of fresh air listening to POD casts like RevFisk RAW, Issues Etc., KFUO, Fighting for the Faith, and the like.
-
Karl FehnBest Pod Cast Out There! Period! Thanks Pastor Fisk for all you do and God Bless as you continue to stay true to God's Word and sharing His hope!
