    Intros are AWFUL
I really wanted to like this podcast, but I can’t get through the lengthy, horrible intros with strange music and voiceovers all jumbled together and staticity and far too long I managed to listen to two of them and the interviews were pretty good, but I’m done with it because of the ridiculous intros

    Great show
Excellent show. I’ve been listening for a few years now.

    Tried again
I tried to come back and subscribe again but it’s about 10% real call-ins now and the rest are people selling a book, film, or promoting another podcast. I miss the gritty, visceral, real people with stories instead of those trying to promote something but that’s all it is now. I pretty much stopped listening to The Infomercials and found other call-in podcasts, came back to check it out, and it’s the same. I’m glad to see I’m not the only one though.

The Truth Will Set You Free
I’ve been listening to this show for years now. Tony is an excellent host and seems like an overall great person who loves the Lord. The information on this show will shift your paradigm and that’s probably for the better. Give it a listen and keep your mind and heart open.

    Missing
I do miss the conversations with witnesses and their experiences. Seemed to be a lot of authors and people Tony has bumped into throughout his job, which is fine. I just miss people’s stories.

    Logo
Maybe you already know, but you have the same logo as another podcast. It was a bit confusing, I was trying to find your podcast and I came across theirs and listened for awhile- but it didn’t sound familiar.

Anyone dealing with mental health issues, or knows people who are/have YOU NEED TO LISTEN TO 655!!!! Its so important you hear what this man has to say. Having dealt with the mental health system in this country what he is saying is the same conclusion I came to when I almost died from the drugs they were forcing on me and not even bothering to talk to me or remember my name. They have no interest in helping you, they just want your money. They want to keep you sick. Listen to the episode.

    From Paranormal to Televangelism
As others have pointed out, this show was great up until the last year or so, the content has transitioned gradually over the years from an unbiased talkshow where people can share their experiences, to a host who seeks out people to interview that agree with his niche views, it’s basically about confirmation bias at this point. If you don’t believe in Biblical literalism, giants, a spiritual war against Satan, Angels, and L.A. Marzulli’s claims, it’s not the show for you. He should honestly rebrand the podcast at this point since the whole theme has changed.

    Invaluable!!
It took me almost a year to start at episode one and get all the way through, but I could not get enough! Then I became a member and worked my way through those episodes, lol. What I have learned and realized about things I have experienced myself by listening to these stories has shifted my paradigm and given me such an invaluable reference point to understand my past. I have tools in my belt spiritually now that have proven to be key in things my kids have had going on and I would have been fighting with a wet noodle if not for what I have learned from the guests Tony has talked with. Thank you for being obedient to the Holy Spirit, Tony! You are storing up treasures in Heaven and I am thankful for the treasures you have given me!

I don’t know what the newer podcasts sound like
But I absolutely love this podcast! I’ve started from the beginning and I’ve listened for two years. I have a long way to go - but this is my favorite podcast out there! The stories are so chilling and there’s no rambling. Just gets right to the point! I don’t know how anyone couldn’t give this 5 stars ⭐️
  • jeansandweans
    Unfortunately a lot of rambling
I’ve tried listening to about 25-30 episodes and all of them besides one so far are absolute ramblings that end up not making sense. I feel like maybe 5-10 minutes are about paranormal activity and the rest is a conversation between two people. If that’s what Tony’s going for that’s great and he should! But I’m feeling like this shouldn’t really be marketed as supernatural if the episodes don’t have anything to do with it. Like. The first 15 minutes of a Bigfoot episode are dedicated talking about music and he mentions it! What am I hanging around for? Edit: after seeing reviews as far back as a year ago complaining about the same thing I am I’m re-rating to 1 star. If this issue isn’t getting worked on this podcast isn’t really worth the listen.

    A good one
I saw Tony in Tennessee last year. A very nice person at his booth. Could you have more on Bigfoot Structures. We need to discuss this more. There is a YouTube channel called Southern Ontario Bigfoot Structures that goes unnoticed. This would be an amazing interview! Pennsylvania Bigfoot Structures

    Love this show!
I’ve been dancing around this show for about 2 years-hearing it on other podcasts and occasionally listening to an episode here and there on my own. I have no idea why I never dove straight in! Currently on a binge. This show is awesome! I love this show! Great job Tony, Lindsey and crew! Keep going!

    Excellent Information
I have listened to The Confessional’s for years. Recently we had an X Space with Tony to discuss many of his guests and an understanding of what is going on with all the different aspects of the phenomena. It’s people and shows like this that will rewrite the false history we have been taught in school. Open your mind and give a listen.

    The Confessionals
This Podcast used to be great.Last year I gave it a 5 star but now it’s down to a 1 because of all the Bible and ufo stuff Tony’s guests talk about.I read what the new episode is about and go on to some one else’s.3-30-24.

    Best Podcast Available!!!
I have to say this is the best podcast point blank period! Never have I heard so many cool, inspiring, insightful, entertaining, enlightening and engaging stories from such a diverse audience. I started listening back in August 2023 and I’ve listened to every episode. It’s made me look back on my experiences with the paranormal and my faith in a new light. Tony, God bless you and your family.

I was led here by Isaac Weishaupt. Soul Trappers was such a great episode.
  • Beardedlegend9
    Great show
Honestly one of my favorite shows, been listening for awhile. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is because of the frequency of religious convo. I tend to skip alot of episodes that would otherwise be great
  • AtlantaMatt89
    Coward
Tony Markel is a coward of the first degree. If you have a criticism, Tony will eject you. Like a coward would do. What a snowflake. Tony, all your guns amount to nothing if you can’t handle a critical comment from a PAYING MEMBER.

    Local Fan
The Confessionals has become my go to podcast. I can relate to so many of your guests stories. I live just down the road in Maryville and would love to share the experiences one day. I listen at work, when driving, and when biking! Keep the great guests coming! “Did you say Nephilim!?”
  • Liebe es!!!
    Made up stories
Show was very interesting when I first found it. I even paid to get the members episodes. Then I realized a lot of his guests would just use word salads in the stories. It became obvious a lot of them were just seeking attention. Then Tony started becoming a “Christian” which is fine with me, but when you use those made up names for God that are from people that aren’t God’s people I can’t listen to that anymore. It tells me you’re either deceived or a deceiver.

    Bible study pod cast now

    Ep 629 🤯
Just wow, it’s a lot to digest. You wouldt think a podcast would make you feel closer to God, but it’s in the stories. I appreciate the people that come on to share their lives, also Tony and his tribe. #thetruthwillpissyouoff

Episode 629, Killing Lacey was the craziest, most amazing testimony I’ve ever heard on a podcast. This pod continues to affirm and strengthen my faith and I am so thankful!

    Jesus for the win
I love this show and how it confirms my faith. Anytime you wanna destroy the supernatural just let Jesus take the wheel. Thanks for the awesome shows!!

    💯 Good
Tony is such a nice guy. You can hear and see his humble and kind nature. This show at times has scared me a little but the wealth of information here is priceless. I say it has scared me because some of the topics I know are real stories. Tony is super smart and he asks people really good questions too. I feel like he seems like he’s not listening but then he comes back with a question that really helps people work through their encounters. He’s just so kind that he lets people talk and then he clarifies once they’re done telling their story. It’s obvious he is passionate about what he’s doing, he’s passionate about learning new things, and he genuinely cares about people. I’m happy I found this show and I feel like it’s been part of my awakening. I have learned so much and my mind has been able to put together some of my own experiences. Just listen to it!

    Parallel universe episode
Having guests on, and just letting them tell stories, without any sort of checks, and balances is not entertainment

    Disappointed
I truly enjoyed the podcast and the open eyed perspective of the speakers and the host. But now it’s rated explicit and I’m blocked from listening. Wish you the best Pastor Angel Morales Jr. D.Min

Tony lets people come and tell their story. I love the intro! I’m happy to see Tony and the show thriving.

    Joe Rogan of Paranormal
If Joe Rogan and a Dogman with a sense of humor, had a baby, this is what their podcast would sound like. I love this show.
  • AlHitchcock
    Love it
I love everything about this show. The stories, the production, the people. I haven't watched the documentaries. Saving it for a rainy day. This is really one of the only podcasts I can listen all the way through and then re-listen immediately after. I especially like the portal episodes and the episodes dealing with mental health issues. I've been in multiple situations in mental health where I was sure they were oppressed or possessed. Mostly in the intake process. Once they get meds they quiet down, but the oppression is definitely still there. They just lack the energy to express whatever it is. Only constructive criticism I can give is when you do reloaded shows, could you put the date it was originally recorded? Just so I know how long ago it was, and if I heard it recently. Love the quality on those and thanks for letting us hear some of those older member episodes.
  • treehousetop
    Go back and relisten!!
Old shows were much better than the new. No need for the "Taylor Swift " style posse! Don't think I'll be listening any longer. Your better with just you and a guest , talking one on one. everybody deserves to grow and expand and change, but this isn't the direction.
  • Paranormie
Great When it Doesn’t Turn Into Christian Sermon
Tony seems like a good guy and I don’t have a problem about him talking about his Christianity once in a while but I would say 80% or more of the show’s guests are hardcore Jesus people which usually comes out i their stories in the form of “and then I told the demon to leave me alone in the name of JESUS!!” and of course miraculously all the paranormal stuff ceases. I especially hate when that happens when the story’s good bc the credibility flies out the window and there’s a clear insinuation that if you’re not religious you are attracting evil energy. Multiple times they equate stuff like astrology, meditation, and yoga to playing with a Ouija board and attracting evil entities. Also, everything is demonic, according to the Confessionals, so you better repent and buy their doomsday supplies kit before the demons destroy the world. Yawn.
  • Angrynemesis
He puts all the good shows behind a paywall
And went from being a good show talking about cool subjects to becoming a religious show. I dont mind if you do shows that have a religious aspect every once in awhile but recently that’s all he does. I’m tired of hearing about Nephilim from the Bible. Blah blah blah.
  • shouldnt have to complain
    Show love!!
    Love your show brotha!!!
