    Top notch
Excellent analysis. Deep but not too dense for the format. Short enough to remain engaging, but long enough to have a lot of substance. Your back catalog is a goldmine. Grateful for you all.

Usually great audio and decent production quality. Great for weekly listening or to seek out a specific text

    Ask for free art/logo design
I’m kinda shocked that in the same episode that Marxism is being discussed, you guys are essentially asking for unlimited free logo designs to be submitted. Only the “winner” will be paid for their work. The payment is not transparent and the only real clear compensation is “exposure”. This feels pretty capitalistic. A better way to approach this is putting out an RFQ (request for qualification)

    Required Listening
Relevant, insightful, and motivational. This podcast has made a huge impact in my political understanding of how the world works and how to liberate ourselves from classed society.

    Great show
99% of the people who rated it 1 star are right wing, perhaps far-right, definitely didn’t listen to the podcast, and gave no other reason on their reviews other than, to sum it up as one review said, ‘go home commie’.

Serious Privacy issue with buy me a coffee
Be cautious if you’re considering donating through this platform to support Rev Left. I’ve spent weeks trying to remove my full name for privacy reasons—with no success. I emailed Rev Left and Buy Me a coffee mutiple times. I have been ignored and I was committed to a monthly donation indefinitely. The site provides no way to edit or delete your post after donating, which is a serious security and UX flaw that reflects a lack of user empathy and research. The “Make the message private” option is misleading. I wanted my message to be public but my name hidden. Since first screen allows you to leave the name area blank and the payment screen didn’t ask for a name and I paid via wallet, the payee information should have stayed anonymous. Instead, the platform automatically pulled and displayed my full name from the payment information—with no warning or confirmation. This is a serious breach of privacy. Even after reversing the donation and canceling all future payments, my name still appears on the site, misleadingly suggesting I’m a current recurring donor. This platform violates fundamental usability principles: • Error Prevention – by exposing personal information without clear, upfront communication • User Control and Freedom – by failing to provide options to edit or remove posts Until these issues are addressed, I strongly recommend avoiding this platform for donating to Rev left.

    Everything for everyone
No gods no heroes, but Breht comes pretty close to the hero category. I have learned SO MUCH from this podcast and the others he's involved with. He teaches with compassion and the grit needed to keep fighting for the world we all deserve. I'm also a huge fan of the songs he'll play at the end. And the guests? Come on. I appreciate what this podcast has brought to my life and I hope you too will find yourself less alone and more inspired when listening. We're all in this thing together ❤️‍🔥

    Cherish this pod
Breht has been doing this important work for many years. I am happy to listen and support his work. I appreciate his discussions of spirituality and growing our individual wisdom as a necessary precondition to make lasting material change in the world through radical empathy and solidarity.

    Impressively Genuine
Breht’s coverage of a broad range of topics always educates in ways that are fascinating and fulfilling. From our daily struggles for survival thru spirituality and philosophy, Breht finds ways to reach me and my concerns.

    Fantastic Revolutionary Podcast
Just finished the latest Nietzsche episode. This not only helped me understand the perspective if those who believe might makes right...but also how Marxist philosophy can actually benefit those same people. Solidarity comrades.

What it says on the tin
It’s odd why an avowed right wing capitalist would choose to listen to AND review a show called “Revolutionary Left Radio.” For the same reason I don’t seek out shows on “how to accomplish genocide for profit”, or podcasts bearing names like “Women Aren’t Human Radio” I would think fascist listeners would prefer to keep to their wheelhouse? Do your blood pressure a favor bro - it is what is says on the tin.

    Absolute Favorite
It’s hard to put into words how much I needed to find this podcast right after Oct 7- western media & political pundits spouting Israeli “hasbara” and an unknown pressure to “stand w/israel” and any deviance being antisemitic. The utter gaslighting by politicians was maddening- anyways Breht’s voice on Palestine immediately grounded and validated everything I knew to be true. ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥
  • Switch inpressionalist
    Deeply researched, meaningful topics
Hosts are articulate, educated, and principled about the topics — some of my favorite episodes cover the modern history of countries whose colonial history I didn’t even know about. Really expert guests, whether they’re research professors or committed organizers.

White leftists need to do better.
Had to unfollow because the way that they spoke on white supremacy and misogyny as being an invalid reason for why Trump won completely encapsulates the issues with white leftists and their inability to synthesize their progressive economic ideas with sound racial and gender theory. Frankly, to demean those who view white supremacy and misogyny as being a huge factor for Trump’s re-election is misguided, dangerous and only serves as a way to gaslight those whose lived experiences say otherwise. This isn’t to say that this podcast in invaluable. But as a black person I don’t want to listen to people speak on a reality that they are not privy to.

    The Standard in Podcasting
Comparisons are to this podcast are rare. You immediately understand the speaker’s unwavering devotion to the material discussed and get the best, deepest, and most overarching understanding of world events through the tireless amounts of work and research dedicated by the host and guests.

    Invaluable
I love this podcast - it’s so enriching in every way. I especially appreciate the internationalist approach taken, a rarity for leftist arrangements based in North America.

    Fantastic podcast!
Super informative and integral to my education. I really enjoy the guest speakers too.
  • Macdizzledaddy
Their prospective is an important one to understand. But
Was really agreeing with the passionate articulation about the colonialist rhetoric used by the west when speaking on Palestine. But then Immediately after, repeated colonialist propaganda about Ukraine that was straight from the Kremlin. Not sure if he just has a missing gap in his knowledge about the history of Eastern Europe or what but way off on that one.
  • yoyoyorambler
    Brave, thoughtful, and thought-provoking podcast
I really appreciate the thoughtful way that Brent approaches the issues of our time, and the way he works to show how our current struggles fit into a larger historical context. His perspective is clear, and that’s also refreshing in a world where everyone seems to be trying to appear to be either center-left intellectual, or a right wing nut job. Highly worth a listen!
  • TRUMP210000000
    Brilliant podcast for critical thinkers
A real beacon of light for a counter to the pro imperialist propaganda and mouth pieces that are pretty much exclusively platformed in the west. If you are for truth, righteousness and humanity then RevLeft is for you! ALL power to the PEOPLE!

    Great podcast, remember who’s listening
The language when the presenter gets excited turns into an accusatory “you” the listener as if they are debating the audience instead of the opposition.
  • tellyourfriends!
    Absolutely necessary
Breht is excellent at explaining concepts that target the very root of the issues. When I dream of a better world, a lot of prerequisites are come from in here.

  • Last Ozymandian Stanning
One of the best for wide ranging issues within the left
Breht is a great interviewer, the pod is unique in the fact that while it’s certainly a leftist pod, and Breht is, it would seem, a Marxist communist (💯), it has a really open minded reach and Breht’s intellectual curiosity on all things liberatory and intellectually and politically stimulating is infectious
  • CosmicAttack
    Amazing source of education
It is very hard to come into your own as someone on the far left when there are so many people conditioned to shoot down your perspective. Especially as an afab brown person I find that it is especially difficult to make myself heard and a lot of what I say goes in one ear and out the other or otherwise gets dismissed. But people like Breht make it feel possible (and important) for me to stand strong in my ideas and continue trying to radicalize my community. The episodes are digestible, interesting, and mobilizing, and I get more confident with every conversation I have. Thank you, Breht and all of the other amazing people on the pod, for being an indispensable source of education, and for helping me not give up! :)
  • The Most Dapper Cadaver
    Genocide Denial
This podcast has engaged in multiple different facets of genocide denial. The current genocides in Ukraine, and Xinjiang; as well as the Holodomor. It makes me sick. People such as this have become the very things they hate.
