Nicknames are taken, send helpGreat Commentary with the Perfect Amount of RamblrDidn’t know Kermit the Frog had a gaming podcast. Amazing haha. Jokes aside, all the hosts and their guests are intelligent and offer meaningful perspectives on games, going far beyond mechanics, visuals, and gameplay. Bring Emma Kidwell on more often! She has such great chemistry with you all!

FyiteA Fantastic but sized podcastThe three main hosts have an incredible chemistry that lets them flow from topic to topic without feeling like they ramble. They have takes on the current gaming ‘discourse’ alongside other ‘micro/indie’ games. Great podcast to hear some great analysis on games, and hear friends riff of each other

AGantFantastic Conversation and CommunityThis is by far my favorite video game podcast. Each of the hosts are very unique in their own right and offer thoughtful and unique perspectives on the games and the industry as a whole. On top of this, the community they've created around the podcast is equally enticing. I've had such a blast in their discord and events that they've created. Whenever there is a new episode of the podcast, it is great to discuss it afterwards, and even when their isn't a new episode, there is always something great to chat about or be involved in. Definitely give this podcast a try!

guthrienBurnt OutThere are 2 tiresome camps in video game discussion. Man child grumps who talk about “objectivity” a lot. And English class nostalgiasts waiting to bust out the intersubjectivity. This is one of those. But the most heartbreaking is just to hear how tired of games they are. I only play games while doing something else. I didn’t notice those mechanics. You write about games! Let’s offer them all some time away to save their wit.

p0lyph0nicFantastic VG podcastListening to this podcast is like sitting in a room listening to your really smart friends talk about video games and game-adjacent topics. Thoughtful, fun stuff; I only wish it were weekly!

Bea704I like wish like they like would like not like talk like this likeI think the hosts are intelligent and worth listening to but it is difficult to take them professionally. Their conversations are bogged down with rambling “But like I like think like..” to the point of distraction.

Joey WilksGreat video game podcastThis is a great video game podcast for well-adjusted, socially conscious folks who hate fun. Love to hear Kyle mispronounce words like “hearth”, “anno”, and occasionally his own last name. I kid because I love. Keep up the good work y’all

Edward FileneGreat podcastYou guys Rule!

Far_IDFun entertaining podcastI like this podcast. No-filter critique and discussion by real gamers who play almost everything coming out.

Necronopticouspassionate and thoughtful games discourseBad End has quickly become the content I most look forward to for work commutes. If passionate and thoughtful games discourse is Your Thing you can’t do much better than hanging out with Caty, Josh, and Kyle for the bi-weekly episode. I appreciate the focus on games big and small, and that it never feels like a race to get through talking points. Finally, bonus points for not being the “official” podcast of Some Company.

David NooBad End Part 2I wrote a huge review here like 6 weeks ago and it vanished, so I guess I'll write it again. Bad End is the most refreshing videogame podcast I have listened to in years. Where the rest of the game industry and it's periphery have become dull and repetive, Bad End dares to critique and open up a real discussion on the nature of and news around games. You don't get bull, and you get honest opinions. There's a lot of value to that. You aren't going to hear many other podcasters talking about how they aren't even sure if they want to play games in the future; that games are becomming sophisticated dopamine loops with no real value. But you might hear such a challenging idea here. While it can be serious in it's discussions the hosts are all funny and a treat to listen to. The humor is clever, self referential and fresh. You'll also learn about a lot of cool upcoming games. Overall super dope! Give them a listen!

jimmymcsnakesAbsolutely one of the bestSmart, insightful, funny, talking about games without sounding like it was recorded in a cave on a potato-microphone, this is one of the best. Finally some people can get into games in an accessible way without talking down or spewing the same cliches. Seriously a must-listen, get on it already if you haven't.

Notify-me-notniceI'm new to video games and was looking for decent, entertaining podcast to talk about games beyond just mechanics and esoteric nerd references. I mean, this podcast has all that...but also a nice vibe, an awareness of other media, and well placed self-aware jokes. It's good!

Bish FiscuitKeep up the good work. It’s a fine podcast. Love the dynamic between the three hosts, don’t love the millennial slang. Bring back Tim Rogers.

Ed W KThe McSweenys of Videogames podcastsI came across this podcast because I used to read Kill Screen and I’ve enjoyed reading Caty McCarthy’s reviews at USgamer. The three hosts are great and discuss a variety of games. The hosts have a good awareness of games media and avoid repeating the same things that are said on dozens of other gaming podcasts. Bonus: Joshua Calixto of Rollingstone dot com makes a solid amount of Kpop references

Rachel ElleShoutout to the Bad End Crew!Despite being a lover of video games for my entire life I consume very little content that is specifically "geared for gamers" - I usually just peruse articles or hot takes in text form from blogs or Twitter. I think the reason for this is often I feel targeted gamer content is often made with just one voice and how much that voice doesn't really vibe with me. All this context to say that I really enjoy Bad End podcast because it feels like I'm just having a conversation with a few of my funny 20something year old pals over a beer - no one is trying to shout over the other person (except when it comes to In-N-Out) - and all three hosts have different tastes to offe; I like that there are different opinions to a topic. I'm not tuning into Bad End to get the most DEFINITIVE takes on a gaming topic, but I tune in because it feels like how me and my own friends would have a discerning conversation about it, and I appreciate that. For the record, I'm also one of those podcast listeners that thoroughly enjoy meandering tangents in podcasts. There's a little bit of that flavor in here. Also, I love everyone's voices!

BobbyD1981A hidden GemI listen to many gaming podcasts, and this one is top teir in my opinion. Everybody on here is insightful, and they unpack concepts in a deeper way than the usual gaming podcasts. This is kind of the "thinking gamers" podcast. but they talk aboout games in a natrual non-pretensious way in spite of how deep they dive. And as a person who listens to many podcasts, I also found everyone on this show has a likeable voice, and they never talk over each other. Which might seem like a silly observation, but having a professional additude makes the listening experience much, much better.

John B., Esq.UghIf you want to be condescended to by the chick who gave Horizon Zero Dawn a 40% and some no-name "paste" writers, this pod is for you!
-
mmarionspencerwow this is where the title goesThe dynamic that the hosts have is really enjoyable, and there is enough structure to keep things moving without stifling the discussion. I'm looking forward to future episodes.
