I have been listening to TWIG for many years now and I have always appreciated the great insights that are shared each week. Also, Kress is my spirit animal. I am finally writing a review today because I am so happy to hear Adam back on the show! I have been missing your commentary and insight from the product development side of the business. Welcome back! Thanks to everyone at TWIG for all of the great content!

I’ve struggled to get past the PR and flood of news in the gaming industry before subscribing to this podcast. The hosts give multiple perspectives on the news then both read between the lines and zoom out to the macro issues at play. The interviews have been hit or miss in quality and could use editing, but the updates are must listens for me.

Great content. Audio goes up and down depending on who is taking and if that person moves towards the microphone while speaking. Insider content on the video game industry with perspectives of different roles. Allow yourselves to go a little longer on tangents. Sometimes some really interesting things are talked about.

I love the information and banter between hosts . They all have different perspectives and a unique contribution to the games industry . However, I just can’t stand listening to Eric belittle his hosts . It is just annoying and his arrogance is exhausting . If he is on the show I have to skip .

Great recap of the latest in game industry news with insider takes from people who live and breath making games. The cast represents different kinds of people in the industry, so the disagreements are great!

Two of the hosts plainly can’t abide each other… kinda uncomfortable. Talking over each other and not leaving room for others to talk

This podcast, while informative is painful to listen to. Sound is terrible, and I could live with it if they weren’t so “bro” in their approach. Good info, terrible sound, distasteful “high fiving white guys” tone. :(

If you work in mobile game development, this podcast is an essential listen to stay up to date on the latest trends.

Is like a gaming frat dork pod, with a great mix of industry expertise across the group, strong interpersonal dynamics and a good dose of humor. Highly recommend.

Was really interested on the how to market your mobile games in 2021 episode but the hosts volume was low and the guests was high. It was startling when the guests voice would come on. Was really looking forward to the content but I had to pass on this.

I’m the type of listener who loves Apple Arcade, thinks Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is the best game on iPhone (with an Xbox controller attached, of course), and sees whale hunting as ethically bankrupt... and I STILL love listening to this show! It’s hosted by smart industry vets who really know what they are talking about. To maximize the fun, listen while playing an awesome 100+ hour RPG like Witcher III or Dragon Quest XI that caps out at $60. You’ll feel like a road runner outwitting a pack of clever coyotes :).

I don’t agree with all of their predictions, but I do appreciate all of their hot takes on the news of the day. Really improves my perspective on the industry - keep going guys!

Podcast became so much worse compared to 2018, since Mishka stepped out of it. Now all we hear is marketing and advertising – zero helpful and meaningful insights and opinions. Without Mishka’s expertise Kim turned into dull business topics reader with no personal vision – his opinions has no background and lack of industry experience. Even back then, all he did was just agreeing to all Mishka’s opinions. Wow. So much cringe to hear him.

This is easily my favorite podcast related to the games industry. Well informed discussions with actionable takeaways. Do yourself a favor and give it a listen.

Love it, these guys are knowledgeable and funny. I will say there are some strange times when the hosts are talking over each other followed by long periods of silence - these are caused by these guys being in different parts of the world, so I understand it, but these guys have the technological expertise to fix this problem. Hope they fix it, but in the meantime I’ll be listening anyway.

Finally a great gaming industry podcast. Great job, guys!

DOF is definitely my go-to podcast and website to keep up with the game industry news, design and mechanics trends, shifts and predictions for the upcoming year! The content is great and touches upon not only articles across other various sources but also DOF voices their collective opinion. The guys at DOF are very experience individuals from the games industry and I highly recommend DOF podcasts if you’re looking to keep up with the F2P and mobile games space.

Great news and insight with some numbers peppered in. Love it! Please keep pumping those episodes out.

This podcast has really helped shed a light onto how game design actually works. As a producer in the mobile games industry, I have some experience with this world. But, this podcast has really given me a better fundamental understanding of how game design and, more importantly mobile game design should be done. I’m hooked, will continue to listen! Can’t wait to hear what comes next’

Absolutely love this podcast as an extension to the content available on the website. Borderline malpractice for mobile game PMs to not keep up to date with this. On request: I'd love to have 2 weeks notice of what's coming up next so that I can make sure to play the game and do my own deconstruction. That would enable me to treat this kinda like a free to play book club
