I really enjoy listening to John Kobylt. He offers common sense & entertaining commentary and has excellent guests. Debra Mark is excellent in reporting the news. I love the banter between John & Debra. The only complaint is why do they upload the podcast in reverse order? It would be much easier if they were uploaded in order - hours 1,2 3.

Show has gotten worse without the steady hand, organization and discipline that Ken provided. John was always good as the outraged sidekick commenting on incompetent California progressives. But left on his own John dwells on too many national issues like drones in New Jersey that have nothing to do with the SoCal listening market. There’s plenty enough here in California to talk about, we can get national commentary from plenty of other shows. I’m down to listening to one segment of the podcast a day, if that, compared to all 3 when Ken was there.

I’ve been listening to these 2 on the radio since before podcasts existed. They’re very well-informed about city politics, much more information than the propagandized LATIMES. It’s just too bad they’ve been reduced to 3 hours from 4. It’s our loss, as Los Angeles residents. I enjoyed the recent fill-in by Doug McIntyre.

This show is better than ever for local Southern CA issues. The media is broken in LA, the Los Angeles Times is a leftist advocacy outlet, no one holds the DSA politicians that have infiltrated the city accountable. John Kobylt is the only one that does and for that reason alone it’s an excellent listen.

These guys strive to provoke outrage in their audience/ listeners. It’s a formula that works for many radio personalities, in the right and left, and for the corporations that employ them. If you are a listener and don’t agree, think of about how many policies and public figures these guys try to demonize and bring outrage about. Today I heard them say that there is no evidence that restrictions over COVID is not needed. This from two morons without medical degrees of any sort. One of them didn’t even go to college, which is obvious from his lack of critical thinking abilities. To say there is no evidence that social distancing has no part in slowing the infection rate is deleterious at the least. KFI should fire these two obtuse dolts. Update: this douche is on his own and it shows. He has a simple formula; demonize and label people his disagrees with as the “ other”. It’s a common used tactic for radical conservatives who have little to no critical thinking skills and just want confirmation and conformation of their ideological biases. The only redeeming qualities is Doug Mcyntire.

Not sure why KFI decided to add EXTREMELY LOUD show announcements in the middle of a show; ‘YOU ARE LISTENING TO THE JOHN KOBYLT SHOW’ This jarring interruption just another nail in the coffin for this show besides the shorter duration and longer commercials.

If you like some conservative white dudes opinion (and that’s what it definitely IS bc it’s certainly not factual or investigative reporting.) then you’ll love this. 🤢

Used to love him now he’s a swamp rat. Immigration was partially down because of Covid but title 42 was the real reason things were quite at the boarder. Doug go back into rino retirement please.

Thank you for changing the branding aka picture of this podcast. That was a long time coming! I listen to the John & Ken show daily for local news. I work in LA County and live outside of LA County. They approach news with honesty and logic. I appreciate the common sense they demonstrate for the most part and how knowledgeable they are on many topics just by having been radio show hosts for many years. I don’t listen to any mainstream new sources, this is where I go everyday to listen to the news from hosts that don’t spin it dishonestly.

No more sick days or vacation days. You are not allowed to die without permission!

Used to be great but now the commercials are 90% of the podcast.

Love hear guys! John is hilarious and I agree 100 percent but Ken is the underrated straight man and his singing is hysterical! Logic, facts, and guy humor! I laugh daily and listen on the podcast! Lived in la but moved back home to OC in 2021. No regrets! Stay honest and keep up the great work! Steve Gregory is great too!

The new scam from iheart is now to have more loud ads randomly over the audio of the podcast. Getting ready to drop listening because of this practice. Pre-roll and end-roll Ad volume is also louder than podcast volume.

Long time listener now living in Las Vegas, but still listen EVERY DAY! Can’t live without the guys!

I have listened to the guys a long time and absolutely love hearing them banter back and forth! Ken is hilarious as the devils advocate and he pours it on while John is building steam and then WHAM!! He grabs his verbal hammer and just nails who or whatever the subject is, and no politician is safe and that’s how it needs to be. GREAT show and the podcasts are the most organized format anywhere. Love the hourly format and contents so props to their web master he is doing Yeoman work. An absolutely hilarious and informative listen or download any time I can. I imagine these two guys in a sports car that is stuck in a traffic jam carrying on and then wondering how they can keep their car on the road - and mine! Due to laughing or yelling at the radio. PS love moist line, hack in a dumpster and sometimes homeless debris with them and Bidenville makes me snort my coffee a la Ed Asner...keep ‘em coming!!!

I haven’t listened to John & Ken since the election. They have completely jumped on the Biden bandwagon and they’re drinking the corporate Kool-aid. John won’t stop pushing the vax and seems to think that violating the elections clause of the US Constitution ahead of the 2020 election, is a conspiracy theory. Love your show I’ve been a loyal fan since the OJ Trials, BUT have them stop with the Spanish commercials!!! Why do they do this when it’s an English speaking program

There are too many commercials and long drawn out news stories and not enough content. I dont care about termite abatement, water purifying systems, att fiber or financial services 3 minutes of show vs 8 minutes of garbage

The hourly format is not as good as when they posted the whole show, and now the first hour of the show isn't included.

Basically has made this app to difficult to use. Done with it.

Great show, thanks for improving the quality, splitting it up, putting them right out. Great Southern California commentary, witty, but no nonsense. 2 talented long time hosts. KFI keeps delivering.

Blunt, honest truth is what you’re guaranteed to hear from John & Ken. When I am entertained and can laugh when listening to both the local and worldwide issues/news of today, I gotta recommend this show with a 5 star rating.

Randomly inserted ads, most of them right in the middle of a segment. Plus, multiple playbacks in the middle of the podcast, like John and/or Ken will say something then 15 seconds in they say the same thing again as if someone hit the back 15 seconds button (no it wasn’t me. I tested it) Try the iHeart Radio app!

The boys have unfortunately jumped onto the “President Biden” bandwagon along with the rest of the Fake News Media. Was a good show until they sold out to their corporate masters.

Your team is as bad as Handle. Friday never downloads and this week Monday and Tuesday did not down load. Must be a KFI issue.

2 days in a row (10/23 and 10/26) the speed of your recording is on super fast so you guys sound like Alvin and the Chipmunks. I missed both days because it’s impossible to understand what you’re saying.

Those complaining there is no Friday show should know they can search John and ken and than manually download it. It is always available but does not auto download like the rest of the shows.
