    Thank you
Thank you, Samia, for showing up as your full, authentic self and for sharing such powerful knowledge. My life truly changed when I started listening to your podcast. Through your wisdom, I recognized areas in my life that needed growth, and I’ve transformed so much because of it. I don’t want to say too much—otherwise, this would turn into a book but I just want to express my deep gratitude for the way you’ve shown up and consistently dropped life-changing gems. I tell everyone I know who’s on their personal healing journey to listen to your podcast because I know they’ll walk away with something valuable from every single episode. Though you’re closing this chapter, your impact remains..I can always return to past episodes whenever I need guidance in the moment. I wish you nothing but the best on your new journey, and I have no doubt you’ll continue to do amazing things. Thank you for everything!

“I can be comfortable anywhere if I am home within myself.”
Samia, thank you. Your efforts do not go unnoticed. Your vulnerability, your mission, your purpose — none of these things go unnoticed. Thank you for sharing your life with all of us. In building a community for yourself, you allow so many others to feel seen. As someone who is also building my tribe, my community and trying to connect with other spiritual people, SWS #8 really hit home. As a fellow aspiring entrepreneur, you living in your purpose also inspires me. I pray that you continue to have your needs met, that you never lose sight of what you are building, and that as time progresses, you are met with more blessings in ease. Thank you for all that you do, and for the many ways that you pour into your listeners and community.

    My favorite pod!
Dear Samia, I’d first like to say THANK YOU! Thank you for your voice and vulnerability. Ever since I’ve started listening to your show I have been empowered to share my story with people close to me. I’ve been a fan for a long time and I do mean fan. I met you in the bathroom at the Flite one homecoming and I was starstruck! I was like “omg you’re the sex lady” 😂 You’re like my mentor in my head. As an older gen z (‘98, missed being a millennial by a hair lol) and sexual health advocate and enthusiast, your platform is important to me because it shows that it’s important to talk and learn about all aspects of our being: mind, body, and spirit! One of my professors at FAMU used to say “to thine own self be true” and you are the essence of that! You inspire me to remain gracious and authentic because everything that is meant for me finds its way to me. I also get excited when you speak about your skating journey. Skating is one of my favorite metaphors for life because in the rink sometimes you’re gonna fall and if you stay on the ground you won’t be able keep moving. Some folks will pass you by, some will laugh, and some will help you up. I see myself in you as the Black woman who is strong and independent but also recognizes the importance of balancing it with softness and grace. I just want to let you know that your work is extremely appreciated and I can’t wait to see the things that you do next! Love, Your mentee from across the sea🫶🏿 P.S.- Not really I just wanted it to rhyme😂

The gateway to self discovery and healing
Stumbled upon Samia from another show and this podcast has helped me in more ways than 1. NJASP has exposed me to other shows and people that have helped me not feel alone or weird about how I am as a person! Guests like Gigi, Dr. Tiy-E, Prof. Odi and Tripp have been my favorites. I watch on YouTube and listen here. Thank you for not gatekeeping resources to help me better understand myself and the world we live in. ❤️

    Divine timing!
Thank you ladies from the bottom of my heart….I had an amazing experience with Ileni's massage service in my home. She set the perfect mood and provided exceptional customer service. I'm extremely grateful to Samia for sharing Ileni’s information during her podcast "Suddenly not instantly"; this episode spoke to my soul! Thank you both for the wonderful experience!

    Favorite Podcast!!
Before I was introduced to your podcast I never really listened to podcasts. I had never found a podcast that is so relatable. I find myself when in conversation with people referring back to this podcast, and I look forward to your episodes each week. I also love the solos with Samia! Lastly, I think episode 63 was my favorite since I’ve been listening. Keep doing your thing!!!

    In the kitchen!!!!
Most people just present a beautiful cake. Samia invites you into the kitchen, let’s you watch her crack the eggs, sift the flour and measure the sugar. Thank you for your transparency, you’re phenomenal!!!!! Keep up the good work, I love seeing your personal growth progress ❤️❤️❤️

    Ep. 62
I love this pod! My husband and I have listened to it multiple times together on car rides! This episode definitely is my favorite right now and I share it on my group chat. Listennnn, baby when your purpose hurts….my purpose is helping others but I feel burned out many times but I KNOW I have that energy but I have to take care of myself as well.. so I know that feeling of having that moment when you are down to your last and people betting or leaning on you, because others are there to catch you. Thank you all and sending love!!! -Tab

    I’m enjoying it..
I enjoy this podcast every week. It’s a great listen while I’m cooking, cleaning, and in the gym. I also appreciate Samia’s willingness to accept feedback from her listeners. Sure, there are some areas for improvement but I’m confident that Samia will mold this podcast into her own personal version of perfection with time. I love the guests but I also appreciate the solo episodes. Those are always so raw and feel like a much-needed “check in” with our girl. Keep doing your thing, Samia. Keep being you. This is a great show. Keep going.

    You deserve ALL the flowers!
Thank you for EVERYTHING you do! Your hard work, dedication, vulnerability, transparency and openness NEVER goes unnoticed. From the first episode all the way to the most current…you have been an inspiration to myself ( and others) to stand in truth and UNAPOLOGETICALLY be who we truly are! Being a podcaster I fully understand how hard it can be to go to those dark places and put your pain on display for the world, so please understand when I say that what you do is VERY much so appreciated! If “walking in your purpose “ was a person, it would most definitely be you. Keep doing what you do and PLEASE know that you are seen, heard, loved, and appreciated Samia! May God continue to bless you in each and every endeavor you have 💛
  • Cierra Amaya

Every episode of this podcast is a gem. I appreciate your authenticity and dedication to this work. Each of the videos on here and on patreon is so valuable and knowledgeable. I’m a barber in New Orleans and I HAD to share your content with a client that was sharing a very similar idea to the content house down here in Nola. Thank you for being an inspiration. You are appreciated 😘💚

    my unofficial home girl/therapists
Samia is one of the realest and relatable creators I’ve listened to. I get notifications when she posts a new episode, this is what I’m listening to on my way to work, on my way home, while I’m cleaning the house, it’s always a good time to listen. Listening to your podcast has really helped me in my daily life, whether it’s work related, relationships, friendships, etc. If you ever have a meet and greet or an in-person podcasts with a live audience please let us know! Insights to life’s choices and tests
The episode, Your Love Has Boundaries, is one of the truest mom life shares I’ve heard on a podcast. The host shares her life’s challenges, which mirror many women's experiences. With out the rose colored glasses, the listener is allowed to be a part of a community of wonderful minded, women of color. I’m not even done with the episode and I’m writing a 5 star review. For anyone questioning whether they should try the podcast. Do it! #sharedexperiencesheal #notaloneinitall

    THE PODCAST OF PODCASTS
Hi Samia, I am truly grateful for your podcast! I resonate so much with your story! From the paternal abuse to wanting a life and career of my own and being in my passion! I am 30 years old, and still feel so young spirited, but wise all at the same time. I was a major in Psychology during college and it opened my eyes to many things that I was experiencing, as far as mental health issues, but was not diagnosed, so again, I resonate!!!! Years later I was diagnosed and began a journey of healing. It was and still is not easy! However, with the support and love from my family, friends and partner, I am getting through it. And your podcast is the mid-day therapy I needed to get through some tough days! Thank you again for sharing your world with us and continuing to serve a community, even when it’s hard. Just know I’m a true lover of your content and will always have grace when an episode doesn’t drop, so go easy on yourself. We understand! With love, Mo

    Life Affirming
The way this podcast does not have a religious background, but has become my new space for healing since I left the church. My healing over sexual trauma had many strings attached when it came to church and religion. Samia’s work is not afraid to address healing and leaning IN to the freedom and self understanding that comes from embracing YOUR sexuality… that’s where it seems the journey comes full circle. Thank you for being essential in my healing that finally feels like there’s a pathway to completion. (Pun intended. 😉💜)

One of the highlights of my week
Thank you so much for all the energy and vulnerability you put into every episode. This show is the perfect mix of seeing someone that a young black woman can relate to with being exposed to topics and ideas I don’t encounter in my everyday life. All that you do is loved and appreciated. Keep walking in your purpose.

    Love you deep🩷
I always watch on YouTube so I never get a chance to write a review but here I am finally. Just wanted to say that I’ve been around way before the podcast and I LOVE that you’ve created this space for people to speak freely and for us to learn. I can tell that you are very intentional with your work, your work ethic is very obvious and appreciated. You are helping women all over the world, literally from different backgrounds, cultures and religions. Thank you for this.

    Love this podcast!
Hello Samia, I discovered you through the KFS podcast, and I’ve been a dedicated follower ever since. Your podcast is both informative and eye-opening, aiding me in significant self-improvement. I eagerly anticipate each week’s episode. The break you took at the beginning of the year surprised me, but I appreciate you sharing your life with the public. You’re a blessing, helping people every day. Thank you for being yourself.

    Life!!!
Whew this podcast is giving me life and more importantly healing. From the things I can relate as well as the ones I can’t relate to. Having an example of a beautiful black woman live her truth is so inspiring. Thank you thank you thank you!

    The Anomaly
This podcast is raw, transparent, and wholesome. From the guests, to the set, to the content - everything is done with intentionality and it shows. Thank you for standing in your truth and allowing us to reap the benefits of your constant healing. NJASP, the videos on Patreon, and your master classes have directed me down paths that has done nothing less than elevate me. Samia, we see you, we appreciate you, and we're rooting for you.

    Great to see your evolution
I’ve been a fan since you were teaching on Patreon and I remember that you were semi open with your audience but it was clear there were things you were not yet comfortable sharing. Now to see how vulnerable you are is so beautiful and it is inspiring and helpful to me on my own journey. The episode called is your spiritual insurance paid was my favorite to date I know that couldn’t have been an easy one for you but it was so inspiring because it helps me to keep the faith while I pursue my own dreams! So again thank you for all you do!

    A breath of fresh air!
This is amazing! Thank you for being so open and vulnerable while also taking us along this journey with you. & I have to say.. I’ve listened to every episode and never felt like you over talked your guest so please give yourself some grace with that. Love you !

    Your vulnerability is UNMATCHED
I love everything about the podcast. From the realness in your voice, to the tears I shed listening to your testimony. Please continue to be a vessel of light!!! You are living in your purpose & I love that for us!!! Its helping me to see my own light and not be dimmed by the hurt of others around me.
  • QueenPoetri87
    One of the BEST podcasts!
I appreciate the host’s vulnerability to share her life and not just sex live with us as the listener. She’s honest, raw, and intense about who she is and share it with us. She’s not perfect but neither are we. I don’t mind all of what she brings to the table because it allows us to relate to her as a human.
  • ChocTheWaxer
    SHARE THE SPOTLIGHT 😭
I really want to give five stars, but this one bad habit is SENDING me: Over talking the guest! Samia will ask a question and then talk incessantly, hardly (if ever) giving the guest an opportunity to answer or chime in. We want to hear from them as well, especially when discussing their experiences or expertise. She brings on amazing Thought Leaders, but robs them of their chance to share their thoughts. The continuous overtalk makes the listening experience quite aggravating. Inviting impressive & influential guests to the podcast loses its value when their perspectives are drowned out by constant overtalk, it defeats the purpose of having diverse conversation. If dominating the conversation and being a verbal monopolist is your intent, then a solo podcast might be the most ideal platform. If not, please pass the verbal baton. I pray to see growth and that this is received with love. Looking forward to hearing a more balanced conversation! Thank you for your vulnerability, transparency, and creating a safe place for TABOO/UNCOMFORTABLE/TRAUMATIC conversations (especially for BLACK WOMEN 🤎)!

    Truly a blessing
I started following Samia during the pandemic and I’ve loved what she’s been doing from the beginning. Now I’m not the most consistent with keeping up with her content but every time I feel like I need guidance or just need some positive energy in my life I seek out her content and it’s always a message that I need to hear. The care she has for people and what she does is so genuine but it’s her honesty and transparency that I love the most because it shows we’re all always working to be the best versions of ourselves, no matter what stage of life that we’re in. Just watching makes you feel like family because of how she passes along the knowledge and information. I really appreciate the Solo with Samia episode because it brings me to the beginning of the Patreon days which I believe is still amazing content. I’ve been a Patreon group member before she even had a table of contents lol and I can honestly say it’s the one subscription I would never give up. Also as a Man trying to navigate life I’ve found the content to be so valuable not only for myself but also for the people and relationships in my life. Thank you so much Samia for everything you’ve given the world already and know that it isn’t going unseen or unappreciated.

    The Birds and the Bees
Episode 29 is when I realized I can use this podcast to have discussion topics with my teenage daughter. Thank you for helping me to have more informative conversations with my daughter about all the things. This podcast is not just about sex, although that subject helps me too, but we listen together and talk about each episode. Questions are answered for us both and not only does it bring us closer, but she’s not afraid to come and talk to me which was always the goal. You are appreciated!

    A True Gem
I have always been such a big fan of your work since sexual essentials (before invested in myself enough to take my pleasure seriously). I have to say that everything has its time and now that my self love has grown, this podcast has been a great companion in learning more about myself in so many ways (sexually or otherwise). Your energy is beautiful and the guests you bring add to your vibe with ease and mesh so well with your purpose. You are truly doing great work and I pray that you feel that your teachings are of immense value. Thank you for what you do.

    You are the GOAT
This PODCAST is life. I be looking like a crack head come Wednesday morning if I haven’t gotten a notification yet LOL but in all seriousness Samia, Samia, Samia babyyyyy you have poured into me since we were kids. You legit were the catalyst behind me deciding to celebrate my daughter instead of being sad on birthdays and death anniversary’s. So todays podcast with Lela hit home in more ways than one! You are so dope to me. Keep living in your purpose and I love you always Suga ❤️

    With love
You are in the perfect place! Your essence belongs in this space keep going. I have a few constructive criticisms however, (with love of course!) that will enhance the user experience. The descriptions of the segments are way too long and repetitive, find a way to consolidate the explanations and make them more fun. The verbal intro to the pod was okay for the first few episodes when we were getting to know the pod and you… but now that we are tuned it every week, it’s TOO LONG, maybe start with just music, a tune, a melody instead? Same for the « in stream » ads for patreon, and the outro. You are over explaining yourself. This again is coming from love because I love the pod otherwise. I am rooting for you!
