Clear and concise

Andrea speaks very clearly and explains very well in virtually all Spanish which is helpful for high intermediate learners. There are so many topics available and each is clear and concise which makes it manageable to learn in a short period of time. So appreciative!

I love this podcast! The short podcasts explained many things I was struggling with such as reflexive verbs, prepositions and more. If you do not understand something but do not have a lot of time, try a quick episode.

Nice find

I have been learning (trying to) Latin Spanish and have been looking for something to listen to so I can train my ear. This is a great find. I like the fact that it is only 10 minutes long, not too short but just long enough to work my attention. Andrea has a good voice and doesn’t speak too fast. It’s just the perfect podcast for me in content and in length. When I get to the intermediate to advanced level, hopefully someday, there is always her other podcast series with episodes longer in length. Good podcast for when I walk my dog. Keep up the great work, Andrea ( and Nate too).

This used to be alright, but now they have THE WORST student in air that cannot put together a sentence in Spanish. It’s so cringe. Do CoffeeBreak instead.

Excellent resource

I have looked for and unfortunately been unable to find many podcast/YouTube resource for those with intermediate to advanced Spanish skills. Spanishland fits the bill. It is well worth your time to the investigate all that Spanishland has to offer on the podcast side as well as YouTube.

Both this podcast and their other podcast, españolistos, are excellent. I love all of the grammar instruction, the translations with Nate, and opportunities to learn from mistakes. I’ve listened to DuoLinguo, Coffeebreak, Doorway to Mexico, and Spa ish Obsessed, amongst others. This is the most helpful for me.

Well I am a Spanish interpreter and have been interpreting for over 10 years;I have a perfect accent because as a little girl I spoke Spanish but as an adult I had to relearn a lot; I always have issues with when to use Le (and no La!)…. No matter who I spoke to or tried to figure it out I did not get it until I heard the lessons in this podcast; FINALLY, something so simple! I’ve paid money for lessons online and they never went over this!! I will definitely subscribe to your podcast and probably take some lessons to get those details down once and for all. Muchísimas gracias!!!

Hello all, I love this podcast and recommend it to anyone doing self-study Spanish learning. The material is great and interesting and captivating. Andrea and Nate are truly gifted teachers and listening to the podcast you will not only learn Spanish but will learn a lot about Columbia and culture and much much more. This is my go to Podcast for learning Spanish. I love the resources like the PDF transcripts they provide. It is an amazing system and I am very grateful to Andrea and Nate for doing this. I can’t believe this is free

It’s criminal that this is free content. Getting these bit size bits of Spanish knowledge, accompanied with their long form Spanish conversation podcast “Españolistos,” is the perfect learning combo. A lot of times, I learn that one little mistake that I’ve been making consistently without even knowing it, and it completely changes my Spanish. For beginners and even for advanced learners you’re going to get a lot out of this.

Quick Lessons for Intermediate Spanish Learners and Above

I’ve been studying Spanish since 2013, and I use Duolingo daily. I’ve completed their Spanish course as of the date of this review. I needed something to help me with my grammar and comprehension that wasn’t too long, and Andrea’s podcast is perfect! I listen to her podcasts every day when I walk my dogs around my neighborhood. Her lessons are extremely helpful. I’ve learned native speaker phrases like “Qué bicho te picó” or “A qué sabe?” I look forward to improving my fluency with Andrea’s podcasts. Muchas gracias, Andrea!
