I have a few favorite quilting podcasts, but this is my MOST favorite. It really feels like chatting with a friend. You do a wonderful job. I not only enjoy your quilt talk but also you life talk, tv recommendations, etc. As soon as I see your podcast in my podcast app, I listen. I have been listening since the very beginning and have enjoyed each and every episode. I have been meaning to write a review for years and I’m sorry it has taken me such a long time to do so. Thanks for sharing your quilting life with us and truly making us feel like chatting with a friend.

Wish episodes were released more often. Like chatting with a good friend. Love the crafting talk, but find myself looking more forward to the lifestyle, book and tv recommendations. My first review in years, but this podcast deserves it!!

I’ve been listening for years and always enjoy hearing Kristin chat about what she’s working on and what she’s reading. I’ve read and enjoyed numerous books that she’s mentioned on the podcast and it’s inspiring to hear about her creative endeavors.

I love listening to this podcast. She has such a soothing voice I feel like I’m in her home drinking a cup of hot tea with her. I am so happy I found this podcast last year. Kristin has a lovely voice and I enjoy listening to the variety of topics such as quilting, knitting, cross stitch, books and tv shows. I usually listen while I am walking in my neighborhood but I also like to listen while enjoying a cup of tea. Every episode is like a delightful visit with a friend.

I’m new to this podcast but love it so far! I’m a cross stitcher first, and I would love to hear more about your new cross stitch obsession! I think lots of cross stitchers would love your podcast.

I’ve been listening to Kristin’s podcast for 2-3 years and have went back to listen to all of the past ones as well. It’s become one of my favorites as I quickly discovered Kristin’s “likes” seem to be my “likes”… quilting, cross-stitch, flowers, light mystery and historical fiction books, cook books, movies and tv series. I find myself checking for a new episode often during the weeks between. However, I know I wouldn’t enjoy them as much if she didn’t have the time to actually do, read, and watch between episodes. It’s one of the few podcasts I listen to that has a single person doing all the talking. She has a private FaceBook page which I also enjoy and find that she even takes the time to interact with the few posts I’ve made there. She actually picked up a cookbook I recommended on the page and gave her review of the cookbook on the most recent episode 91. Her tone and delivery is so comfy and inviting. Seems like such a delightful person; one that would be wonderful to call “friend.” If you enjoy the topics I mentioned, you’ll also love this podcast too. Enjoy! I don’t know how I stumbled across this podcast since I’m not a quilter. Nonetheless, I look forward to each new episode and am working through the past podcasts. Like others, I feel like Kristen is sitting with me and having a conversation. She is well spoken and speaks with a down-to-earth, casual style. She leads a very interesting life with her family and friends and shares it with us … quilting and other crafty interests, books, and television. On top of all that, she’s a Jeffrey Archer fan. I can only hope she podcasts more often. Truly a wonderful podcast.

I found Simple, Handmade, Everyday several years ago while looking for quilt-related podcasts. Little did I know how much impact it would have on my life! The Quilts, The book recommendations, the shows to watch! So many good things come out of Kristen. I feel like we are virtual friends. Do I find myself talking to the podcast? Yes, yes I do. It’s truly like sitting at a cafe with a friend.

She shares all of the things I love! Quilting, books, knitting, homemaking! It’s like chatting with a friend you have known forever! Highly recommend this podcast! I have listened to every single podcast!

Kristin and I are generations apart but we are kindred spirits. Ii know we would have great conversations in person. I enjoy her thoughts on homemakiing and housekeeping and on family life. It’s like chatting with a friend. BUT I don't like hot tea.

I came to hear about quilting and have stayed to enjoy knitting, tea, books, podcasts, television and film recommendations. Kristin’s presentation is light and personable. This is one of my must listen podcasts.

Kristen has a wonderful way of inviting you into her life with her quilting exploits, her life as a busy mom and wife and modern woman, and her reading and viewing adventures. She is practical and funny and all too human, like all of us. Thank you for sharing your life!

Kristin has a great voice for podcasting, which is important for my podcast choices. She also has an interesting line-up of topics: quilting, knitting, fabrics, books, TV shows & movies, etc. I like and plan to use her phrase "home blessings" for what I used to call "chores." This is one podcast I have subscribed to, gone back to listen to episodes I've missed, and will continue to listen to. (And, there are only 2-3 other podcasts I do the same.)

I feel like I’m sitting down and having a conversation with a close friend! I even started drinking tea!

I always look forward to this podcasts. I enjoy all aspects of the podcast, especially the book reviews, quilting, and home organization sections. I’m also keeping a list of the shows she recommends. I don’t love podcasts I guess it’s because I feel like there’s enough talking everywhere and when I have time for audio I don’t always want to hear people’s voices. This podcast Kristen was amazing! I love listening to Kristin’s podcast as she creates a little escape into her world of teas, books, TV shows, and quilting. It’s nice to hear a voice that you begin to feel you ‘know,’ and look forward to hear her next updates. I love hearing about her book and TV reviews and suggestions, and have been pleasantly surprised when I enjoy the same, though not always, but when is anything ever 100%? I thoroughly enjoy listening to this podcast. I work in a hospital laboratory which is extremely stressful and tiring at the current time. It is such a nice getaway to be able to sit and stitch and listen to Kristin talk. It helps to relieve my stress and think about something else. Love listening this podcast. It’s like we’re chatting on my back patio with a cup of tea talking about real life (but not the hard stuff!). She has numerous interests from quilting and crochet to gardening, reading and staying healthy and talks about the ways she balances those. She makes it OK to not finish a book of you don’t like it, change plans at the last minute to accommodate family or friends and try new things!
