US LaddNew to PortraitsJust recently got connected with a friend that is a big time portrait photographer here in the states and he has started teaching me what he knows so I can work that into my photography. I recently stumbled upon this podcast and have been binge listening and love it so much I have ordered the book too. Some of the things I have struggled through you have mentioned struggling with too in the podcasts I have heard. I recommend this to anyone getting into photography or portrait work.

LKofOhioOne of my favoritesPaul is so easy to listen to. He tells it like it is but always in a positive way. He’s very down to earth and has a genuine love for people and photographing them (as well as dogs). Definitely one of my favorite podcasts out there! Lindsay K., Ohio

360632Love this podcast.I listened to several episodes today and am so happy I found this. Episode 37 really resonated with me. I have noticed a trend in how photos are critiqued in a rather rude manner at times, that totally discourages a photographer. I quit watching and subscribing a popular U.S. based one who seemed to mock and make fun of people. That is not helpful to anyone. Great podcast. I loved the points you made. Thank you!

Angela RedmonI binge-listenedI became a solidified fan after only minutes of listening to Paul on the Mastering Portrait Photography podcast. He's so easy to listen to and the information is easy to parse out. I appreciate that he approches the podcast and the information that he is passing on with honesty and relatability. It's easy to feel that you're just speaking to a friend when Paul is talking. I have binge-listened to all existing episodes in a matter of days and will wait, not so patiently, for the next ones. I have learned a great deal and have already put a vast amount of that information into practice. I can't recommend Mastering Portrait Photography enough.
