Love this podcast’s content but the audio drives me insane! I have to blast the speakers to be able to hear, it’s like you shy away from the mic or the audio does out at the end of every sentence…. 😔 You start delivering a powerful message and all I hear towards the end is mumbling… Sorry for the 1 star. Of course this is a true 5 star but just want to bring that to your attention. It may have to do with editing or the way the mic picks up the sound. I’m not sure. But I wish I could listen in without the volume variety…. It’s so hard to concentrate or take away the whole message. 🙏🏼🤍

Great content for women striving for holiness in any stage of life. I hope the sound quality improves as I continue listening because many comments sound quiet or muffled, making it hard to know what was said.

Thank you for the gathering place ladies! I love when you have guests and also share your experiences. I am so curious why you would share all this struggle about getting sick with Covid - but not mention getting vaccinated? The Catholic Church has approved vaccinations! You were around so many other people and gathering folks but assuming the irresponsibility of not being vaccinated is atrocious… lack of leadership and discredits your awesome ministry! Such a simple oversight. So confused.

In the most recent episode, the host shared testimony that is not often discussed by women. I am not only moved to tears, I am so very grateful for her honesty with her struggles and how God truly heals and blesses us. Thank you for being honest. You remind us all that we are not alone in our struggles and our past, and that we can give it all to God. Christ will deliver us! Amen.

I feel so absolutely seen and understood by this podcast. A virtual sisterhood helping you on your path to sanctity. Beautiful vulnerability seen by both ladies makes you feel like you’re are not alone in this walk of faith.

Jenna has allowed the Lord to work such wonders through her many “yes”s to Him. Beth is such a gift to this world and to the Church. I have been listening to your podcast for a while now. The obvious joy in your voices when you speak of loving the Lord is so inspiring. Today I am listening to the episode about gossip (“Prone to Wander”) and about the power of words. I must say this has been my favorite yet. You both were candid, specific and found ways to encourage a new behavior while trusting that He will help us. Sometimes podcasters are amazing theologians or academics, and I love them. I also wish for less vague language and more human examples. The vague, global language can leave me feeling that I just don’t know enough to understand what they are talking about. You nailed it with this one. I am saving it to listen again and again. Thank you for being vulnerable and open about the challenges that we all face.

I was at a spiritual retreat a few years back and during our lunch break I realized I didn’t have any religious podcasts in my feed. I quickly did a search and subscribed to this podcast. Since then, I haven’t stopped listening and engaging. You ladies have a beautiful gift. Thank you for sharing it.

I have followed along with BIS devotionals for several years now and just finished listening to my first podcast from them. The “Rise, Let is be in our way” John 14:31 reflections brought me to tears in Episode 55. As did the reflections about conversations that “leave us feeling tired and empty”: it struck home! Lately, this occurrence has left me pondering, and Jenna and Beth’s reflection was an answered prayer. I missed these podcasts for a few months there. So glad you are back. I noticed you switched up how you capture the interviews of guests you take by telephone at the end of last season. I am grateful for the change because for a while I dreaded listening to those interviews because even at full volume I could barely hear the guests, and you two were crazy loud. Jenna and Beth’s sweet voices and kind words are such great company after a busy school week. My Friday evenings are always so pleasant with their company and support in my spiritual development. BIS offers many different ways to reach women but their pod is definitely one of their best online ministries.

I absolutely LOVE this podcast! I discovered it in early November of this year and started working it into my podcast cycle until I realized it took precidence over every other one. It became what I listened to on my drive to and from work, school, activities, etc. I would sometimes get through two podcasts in one drive I am so inspired by their messages they send to their listeners. Every time I finish listening to an episode, my heart is left stirring with things I want to go out and do, goals I want to write down and accomplish, or life plans I need to do. No podcast goes listened to without leaving some sort of lasting impression. I really need to start blocking off time to sit down and listen to these and take notes on them so that I can remember everything that resonates with me. Thank you for this great blessing on my own life!!

I am glad that such a program exists, although it isn’t for me. The ladies have a strong faith and hearts to share it with others. As a single 30 something, I feel like most of the content I come across is so geared toward married women’s and moms, who definitely need to support each other, but it is at the detriment of those of us either called to singleness or yet to find that man we could take this journey with. I also cannot handle the phrase “love on,” I’m sorry ladies, it’s just a thing for me. Keep up the great ministry you’re doing.

I never liked to listen to podcast. I started out as a way to feel more connected to the women catholic community as I started my personal journey on my faith. Now I listen to different podcast and I love it. But when I am feeling sad and unsettled listening to The Gathering Place, the familiar voices of Beth and Jenna just makes me smile and forget about the bad feeling.
