I’ve listened to 4-5 and find the step by step deal structuring super helpful. It really allows you to look at a deal in all the ways necessary to see if it’ll actually work. It’s a homegrown podcast, as it’s not “produced” like a high end show. Look past it and get the content it’s valuable. My only complaint is that Nicole is a little too green and it slows the show down in a way that I don’t think is helpful. I think Cody’s level of knowledge is plenty relatable to newbies.

i really wish i could get that 30 minutes back. they cover 3-5 minutes worth of actual material and drag the rest out with “ummmm”, “ahhhh”, long pauses and for some reason they keep repeating things unnecessarily. these people have zero background in broadcasting skills and honestly the show is just lousy

These techniques have given me a leg up on the real estate world in my area. While others are trying to figure out how to get properties for the lowest money, I’m getting properties that work for both the seller and myself. Everybody is happy and making money. If you are wanting to listen and learn this is your podcast. I recommend listening while your driving and get the 1000 ft view. When you get home and want to actually right offers follow along with your calc. Be smart and adjust there strategies to your situation. This podcast has no joke made two deals happen for me. This podcast is awesome, a lot of meat and potatoes and practical advice on how to use creative terms in RE. If you just follow along and write the numbers down you be able to go out and do a creative deal in no time.

I found this podcase about 2 years ago, so I have been around since the ealry early episodes. It has always taught me so much. I really wish I could go back to the beginning episodes though, there is some amazing foundational information in those early episodes. This podcast has great information about creative financing strategies that you can use to increase your chances of getting offers accepted. I would highly recommend taking notes as you listen, to make it easier to incorporate the principles into your own offer system.

I met Jeff at a meetup in Salt Lake City and told him I’m a newbie and was looking to get started with flipping. He said I was stupid for doing that... not really, but he did say that there was a lot of risk starting with it, but gave me an example of a property he just bought and made a bunch of money on it and did it all with creative financing and very little risk then told me to listen to the podcast. I was a little resistant at first, but after listening to the podcast, it’s opened my eyes and has given me even more confidence. I’ve got a couple leads I’m working right now and feel confident I’ll get something closed soon, but if I didn’t know any of these strategies before, I wouldn’t have been able to offer anything other than the “cash hammer”.

I can tell that these guys know what they are talking about (hence the 3 stars) but gee wiz - this podcast is hard to listen to. They are dry and boring and the episodes are long. The hosts don’t have great chemistry. Reminds me of that class in college where I knew I should be listening to the professor but I was bored out of my mind. Also, please get better mics and turn off the background noise!

I’ve been studying creative finance for 6 months and nothing I’ve found including training I’ve bought shows how to structure deals and why they structured them a certain way. This podcast put all the puzzle pieces together for me and now I am structuring and sending creative deals to sellers. It gets into the nitty-gritty stuff you need to know that you pay those big-time gurus for and even deeper. I was scared due to lack of knowledge and not wanting to hurt someone by doing something incorrectly or even hurt myself financially. But, with this podcast I feel so much more confident and secure in moving forward. I will never be able to thank you guys enough for what you do. This is a wonderful show. I feel like this creative deal structuring information is coming at a great time in todays market. The creative financing category is an area of real estate investing that has always made sense to me. It allows both buyer and seller to get agree on terms that are essentially feasible for both parties involved. These guys are actually taking the time to explain how you do it step by step. I even love the examples of the deals they share and the terminology used when putting them together. I found this extremely helpful.
