Karimel10Fresh and Unbiased TakeI really appreciate Brian’s frank and transparent approach to nutrition and health. Even after listening to so many podcasts on this topic, I still learn something new every time I listen to this one.
-
StefanLongTotally unbiasedOne of the best health podcasts out there. Vegans may get very hurt by the nose to tail ads, but if real health information is what you want, this is for you. If you like going to your doctor with constant issues, I’d skip this podcast.
-
BertholemewUnbiased? It says unbiased, in the title, which is what I was looking for but the first 3 minutes is basically a meat commercial.
-
husbandsgirlfriendVisceral Fat!Must listen to Dr. Sean O’mara’s episode and Dr. Ana Rosa. #reversethetrend nice job Brian! Keep having guests like these, so powerful!
-
West Coast CarlosTwo thumbs upI am a truck driver and this podcast is in my top 3. Great content and energy from every interview. I have started from the beginning to the most current episode twice ! Took me about 3 months to cycle from first to last but the content is worth every moment. Great job Brian !

Sabot6LameEpisode 206 This is just like those infomercial where they never tell you what or how to do what you need to do. Basically it’s just a bunch of anecdotal stories and buy the guest’s program. So lame! I listened one hour I to it and there is nothing of substance.

Edith74927A good interviewer but….Brian’s early episodes are very good: chock full of great information. I frequently discussed his podcasts with others and recommended episodes with members of my favorite ketogenic forum. I feel like his program has changed lately and his episodes have become more like plugs for his guests’ products or services rather than supplying educational content. I used to eagerly await the releases of his episodes, but now I feel I no longer get any meaningful content. It may be time to unsubscribe.

Meat MargieEp 205 with Dave FeldmanI was a participant in Dave’s Lean Mass study so it was fascinating to listen to this episode. My cholesterol and LDL are extremely high and it does concern me at times. I find it interesting that I’m at my leanest and most satiated yet my highest cholesterol. Thank you for speaking with him!

Johnson Navin RCaught In an Echo ChamberThis was a podcast to which I listened starting shortly after its inception. Early on, I really liked it. Some of that, no doubt, was due to my views at the time. Some of that was due to Brian and his seeming interest in getting to the "truth" about food. This, of course, is why he branded his many social media platforms with the phrase "Food Lies." As time progressed, however, it began to seem like truth was no longer the pursuit. It seemed to be more about making money. I have no issue with anyone making money – even a lot of money. Most of us have to work and earn money to support ourselves. My only concern is *how* one makes money. If one makes money by making claims that are demonstrably false and promoting conspiracy theories, well, that’s a problem for me. Brian has shifted from someone who initially seemed to be intellectually curious to someone who’s now following the tiresome pattern of an “Us vs. Them” narrative. He knows “the truth”(TM) and everyone else is asleep. If anyone challenges his narrative, they are part of “the system” at worst and just ignorant at best. Brian used to say that he wasn’t part of any camp. He said he was “Camp ‘No Camp.’” These days, however, he’s like so many other conspiracy-tinged podcasters and YouTubers. He has nothing new or original to say. He even brought his own sister onto his "show," so that she could interview him. I listened to a debate between Brian and a YouTuber named Nick Hiebert that runs a channel called “The Nutrivore.” He debated Brian about seed oils. (Well, he wrecked Brian in a one-sided beatdown about seed oils.) Brian had no facts and tried (but failed) to fall back on lame humor, misdirection, and personal beliefs against Nick’s well-researched facts that were delivered in a calm, rational, and respectful manner. Brian now only interviews those whom agree with him. In looking through comments on some of his YouTube videos, I see him reply to those who agree or praise him, but if challenging him (as I have done) on a particular guest or stance, there’s no reply. I’ve suggested science-backed guests and he will neither acknowledge the request nor feature anyone that can quickly and easily debunk his many wrong assertions. Instead, he runs an echo chamber for those who happily lap up his nonsense, because that’s what they *want* to hear. It’s a match made in heaven. All he has to do is keep repeating the same wild and incorrect claims and begging people to buy his merchandise. Oh, and asking people to keep contributing to his “Food Lies” film that’s been “almost finished” and “coming soon” for around six years. I just looked up his fundraising page on Indiegogo and it shows he’s had 4 Campaigns and raised around $158,000. It also shows the following post by Brian “We filmed our last interview last week!” which was posted “6 months ago.” Here’s a supporter from “10 months ago”: “WHERE IS THIS MOVIE?! It’s been years! You just keep opening new campaigns.”

Mike90025Listen from Episode 1Lost 60lbs using the nutrition information set forth in this podcast. Completely changed my view of what is a healthy diet. I’m able to eat without restriction by consuming real foods!

TK34567Broad diversity of opinionsI stumbled upon this show while searching for a guest I’d heard elsewhere. I don’t even remember which guest. Anyway, I went back to episode 1 and have gone through the first 57 episodes with no plans to stop. It is great to have a nutritional/ lifestyle podcast where guests are not all in agreement and the host can discuss different opinions without it becoming an argument.
-
Warchild09Bad formatEpisodes are unnecessarily long and the host likes to hear himself speak. I want to hear the guests!
-
plasma1010Goes above and beyondHe has some really in depth interesting shows, he had a Sami on the show which blew me away because I lived with them for a while
-
RichLecoInformation, helpful and easy to understand! This podcast was suggested to me and I can see why. The guest speakers and hosts are knowledgeable and open minded. Their discussions help with discovery, breaking down complicated subjects and opinions in a very digestible way. So grateful for this podcast. Thank you!!
-
CalicowUsed to be informativeHis podcast used to be informative and enjoyable to listen to until he started going all RWNJ anti-vaxx. What a shame.
-
PT 29ExcellentOne of the top health podcasts in my opinion. The recent interview with Dr. Aseem Malhotra was especially enlightening.
-
JononomoUsed to be goodThis used to be a good podcast about nutrition. Ever since Covid, however, the podcast has been full of nonsense. It is so pathetic to see Sanders go down this path. An utter fool.
-
Kate44321Best Podcast EverI have been listening for 2+ years and love this podcast! A wealth of information!
-
Natasha DasaroReally open minded approachI learn so much from this show. Brian Sanders does a great job with this show and his guest!!
-
ashleyaby88Great info!I love this podcast! So much great unbiased info. I hope this reaches so many people!
-
sweet•is•the•LordLove Brian SandersBrian is an excellent podcaster and interviewer. His unbiased, open approach to food and nutrition is refreshing and enlightening. At the end of the day we all need to consider what foods are helping us thrive and what foods are making us sick within the bounds of what is actually food and not a consumer product. Thank you Brian! Can’t wait for the Food Lies film. You’re one of the best in this space!! Well done!! 👍 👍🙂
-
Conscious_Marketing_&_PRMuch needed podcast!A much needed podcast during time when most of the food we consume is processed and absolutely unhealthy. The podcast is eye opening, it allows for mindset change leading to a healthier/happier life
-
T Money MYLIUSDr Chaffee Nailed It!!!We need this now more than ever as our food systems and governments are trying to turn us all into garbage eating humanoids. The episode with Dr. Chaffee was my favorite so far but I’ve appreciated all of Brian’s work and cannot wait for FoodLies. It’s going to be a must see that’s actually based on facts, I guarantee it!
-
strawberry484Love this podcastI have loved many of the interviews but the recent one with Jay Feldman was outstanding! Love how you can step outside of the little box many health conscious people put themselves into and at least consider alternative ideas/research. Jay seemed like a very intelligent guy with a lot of knowledge. Thank you!
-
Big EbDGive It A TryBrian appears to be trying his best to share the good news with people everywhere, give his podcast a listen with an open heart. God Bless y’all. And I hope the movie will be out sooner than later. His latest episode is transitioning his audience to “Transhumanism,” advocating wearing monitorable tech which constantly scans the blood... dont think the movie is out before 2025 sadly.

jes🥰Please put time stampsIf you’re going to list the 50 topics and questions you cover in an episode, why not provide your listeners with time stamps? Not everyone wants to listen to an entire podcast, some folks are there to find a specific answer to a specific topic or question. Time stamps would be very helpful so I don’t have to search and dig through a haystack for a needle. Thank you. !

SDmillionShame on you for your covid pandemic denying. You should have come on ICU rounds with me in NYC in mar/apr 2020 when we had to convert our entire 1100 bed hospital to a Covid hospital with freezer trucks outside collecting bodies bc the morgues were full. You insult every single HCW who risked or lost their life taking care of sick and dying patients in the spring of 2020. “Texas and Florida were open the entire time” Shame on you for insulting front line providers with all your pandemic denying. Where were you then? Did you help us? You disgust me. Your arrogance and ignorance is insulting. Stop with the pandemic denying. Get another hobby.

Aren72Eating crowIt never ceases to amaze me how often my innate directional sense of finding relevant and fundamentally important information is so alarmingly bass ackwards. It seems to be functional only in the manner of, do the opposite... I pegged this interview with Richard Perkins as a last resort “listen to”, (enter plate of crow…), and finished the program humbled and excited. This presentation is vital edification as a necessary precursor for all responsible human beings wishing to save themselves, their tribes, and ultimately, all of life’s vast interconnected families of species. And, by logical extension, the planet.

Teh CheezyEnlightening!I recently started listening to this podcast and I’m about 17 episodes in. I’m really enjoying all the information about human appropriate diets from various types of educated people. My eyes have been opened about just how important diet really is to even brain health and emotional health. It’s also crazy to realize how much of our current diet framework is based on religious ideals, cherry picked data, poorly done studies, and lobbying from “big food”. I’m new to trying Sapien eating and I know I have a lot to fine tune, but these podcasts are giving me the tools to help keep my husband and me healthy.

Blondy55466Favorite podcast!Brian is a terrific interviewer and gets the best guests. Can’t wait for the movie!!

LisaIsHereForItTruly incredible insightsPeak Human has quickly become a favorite in my feed! I'm consistently impressed by the engaging conversations, insightful content, and actionable ideas. I truly learn something every time I listen!

Julia FaeSteadfast & FlexibleI love that your journey is always steadfast in energy and open to change. The flexibility you show is inspiring. People so often get on one train of thought with nutrition and only find data that backs their philosophy up. But your evolution over the years as you learn more, and we learn with you, is exactly the example we all need. Thank you for all of this information and for sharing your personal experience so authentically!
-
Barton ScottGreat host, Point of viewBrian is always adept at really listening, being deeply interested, and yet maintaining a healthy level of skepticism that serves these interviews well.
-
<3 Psalm23Favorite Podcast!!!The information here is amazing. I send this podcast to everyone I know. I love the way Bryan interviews his guests. He is so respectful, but still stands up for what research has taught him. Everything discussed on this show is backed by scientific research and not just personal views. I couldn’t praise it more!!
-
sparrow driver#1 podcast for animal based nutrition and lifestyleBrian’s concept of the “Sapien diet” is the perfect balance in a world full of dogma. I love this podcast amongst the animal based community above all (even Paul!) I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again…. Keep on keeping on! I look forward to new episodes of this podcast and I’m still making my way through the previous ones.
-
Greg TamblynAlmost GoodI really want to like this podcast because there is some interesting and often helpful information coming from the guests. But I have 2 problems: First, the host always manages to make each episode about himself. His comments are almost always self-referenced: I love that, I like that, I’m all about that, that’s my favorite, etc. etc. Me me me me. Boring. Please make the show about your guests, and only rarely about what you think, feel, or believe. Secondly, in June of last year both the host and Dr. Phil Maffetone said they thought Covid would only end up being about as bad as the flu. Well, if they meant the 1918 Swine/Spanish flu, then they were almost right. Because the USA has now surpassed that horrible pandemic in deaths. And as I write this, there are new variants ramping up. I feel that June 2020 episode of the show was very irresponsible and should be corrected in a current one. Yes it’s important to have a strong immune system, but most people are not going to get one anytime soon, let alone quickly. That’s why we have a public health emergency that can be greatly alleviated by vaccinations.
-
Kieuty HoangAmazingLove all the podcasts. Thank you so much.
-
Michael Robert WoodAmazingIf you want to live a healthy and happy life, listen to this podcast
-
nmxxgfvMisinformationEpisode 143 contains COVID-19 misinformation. A doctor should be better informed about how vaccines work. This guest has his facts mixed up.

(KISS)KeepItSimpleSillySuperior Value!I listened to episode #97 & #98 with Mary Ruddick and felt compelled to leave this review. Such. Valuable. Information! Thank you for providing quality interviews (especially in the US where people are blind to true quality nutrition). I ordered my first box of nose to tail in support of Peak Human.

oliviabaker13On a journey to peak health? Hit the subscribe button! The amount of conflicting information we get from the media, product branding, and even doctors on what constitutes a “healthy diet” is overwhelming. So inspired by the work Brian is doing to break through the noise and help people take control of their health. Peak Human is an incredible podcast (with some awesome expert guests) and I’m really looking forward to the release of Food Lies!
-

Me MarjSo much to learn….My Husband and I cannot get enough of the Peak Human podcast. We are both intermittent fasters and eat an animal based diet with a few fruits and dairy. We are both 61 and in the best shapes of our lives. Thank you for all of the amazing work you do educating and helping us and so many others on our health journeys. Keep up the good work and if you need to go ahead and use a couple of sponsors. We would live to try products you promote! Marjorie
-
Dufyfhgyddkxpvogdjx cbcTerrific podcastI really appreciate every single interview. Thank you, Brian.
-
cdavis211As honest a presentation as you'll ever getBrian has let the facts lead him to his conclusions and will change his views when new or better becomes available. He's a sincere, humble and honest person but is unapologetic in his opinions since it's objective information he uses to form them. I only despare of the Food Lies film ever being released and falling into the vaporware black hole. Keep doing the great work on behalf of all of us, Brian!
