    Great pod
1 of 3 Michigan pods that I will listen to regularly

    Isaiah has good info
Some people really need to read between the lines! He gives you all the information you need, and people hate on him and his faith but he isn’t pushy with it just a believer lol great Michigan information

    Don’t love it
I listen to even Michigan basketball and football podcast and this is the worst by far. The host is really uninformed. I actually gave it a couple month break and I came back after A&M and confirmed how bad this dude is. Plus he mentioned almost every episode how tired he is. I want this to be part of my regular listens but it’s bad.

    Great Authentic Talk
Love how this is an authentic conversation about Michigan. It’s able to call a spade a spade and able to look at itself in the mirror while having integrity. I love how this pod keeps the humanity and life in perspective when talking about college football. It’s such a joy to listen week in and week out.

    “Faith”
I’ve had it. Totally respect that Isaiah loves his lord & accepts Jesus as his savior, but that’s not my faith.the low key criticizing & condescension on the regular towards people who don’t share his belief is insulting/annoying & imo does not belong on a sports podcast. He prob won’t care, but I do. I’m out.

    Your faith
Your faith really adds to the podcast and puts things in the correct order. Don’t stop !

    Hub?
Who cares who he was ahead of this and that 2 and 3 years ago. What a waste of air time

Used to like listening to actual analysis of games, but now it just seems like a little group of children seeing who can diss the best. Boring!

    Why trick followers?
Enjoyed the show listened regularly now I’m getting additional shows under the locked on umbrella, garbage. Disappointed to be tricked in to other shows, if I want to listen I’ll follow them so I’ll unfollow and look for something else.

    Lost the plot
I was a regular listener of the show and tried to overlook the constant hyping of sources without and evidence of actual information. That was until we were subjected to the insane rightwing psyop guy spinning conspiracies like crazy with absolutely no factual basis. There’s better shows and shows that actually deal with real info out there. Don’t waste your time with this one.

Stop sending “you might also like episodes”
You wast my data and time with this. Locked on wolverines is one of my favorite podcasts but you get a bad review when you send me something I didn’t subscribe to.

    Good - not consistent
Huge fan of the lockedon podcasts. I like the content but he isn’t consistent with posting. Every other lockedon I listen to is really a daily podcast (5x a week) and this guy just can’t stay consistent in posting. Would be 5 stars with 5 podcasts weekly like all of his peers.

STILL looking for at least 1 podcast to give some insight into this big game. As of the day of the game...NOTHING!!! I follow LOCKED ON for other teams, and all of them are VERY IMFORMATIVE. Very disappointing podcast, especially the week of the biggest game.

    Terrible
This dude is a terrible podcaster! He says there will be episodes and then there aren’t. He complains constantly about his “personal bull crap”. He’s lazy, always trying to cut things short for no reason…. He acts like a “poor pitiful me” little girl. When he does have episodes, he complains about how tired he is, is arrogant and very un informed. Terrible terrible terrible…..
  • beezy1633
    Good pod but not daily
This is a good podcast but it is not reliably a daily pod. It’s a couple of days before the Rose Bowl and there was no pod on Monday (Christmas (understandable)) nor on Wednesday (much less understandable). I can’t be at the Rose Bowl…this is the exact time that I’m craving a daily dose of info.

    Great Pod
Don’t bother with the 1 star reviews from “cope and seethe” buckeye’s. This is my go to pod for Michigan Football. Isaiah is down to earth and realistic when discussing the team, good or bad.

    Thank you
Thanks for all you do to provide us with content each week. All that goes on behind the scenes for you to be able to deliver such good and accurate content is truly under appreciated. Thank you for being a great resource as a michigan fan and always appreciate your outspoken support of your faith. Please keep doing what you’re doing!

    Trust me, Bro
If you’ve missed the last 20 or 30 episodes following the Michigan cheating scandal, let me sum them up for you: 1–host comes on and humble brags, claims insider knowledge with dozens, no, HUNDREDS of unnamed sources, 2–host then explains that he can’t reveal a single source or even any worthwhile information, but if only we knew, we’d, like, totally absolve Michigan completely and stuff, 3—more humble bragging about his alleged insider status, more “But I’m not going to tell you” innuendo. There you go; I listened so that you don’t have to. You’re welcome.

    Terrible
Worst UofM podcast I’ve probably ever listened to without question. How Locked On still employs these guys is beyond me.
  • Go blue1997

I listen to multiple U of M podcasts and this is by far my favorite. Great insights and entertaining. Keep up the good work

    Click Bait Clown
I tried giving the podcast a listen. 4 episodes in and in every single one he has claimed to have all of this insider information, but can’t any of share it. Not particularly insightful. Too much other good Michigan content out there.
  • matt sny
    Click bait
This literally just brags he has all this inside info on the allegations, but doesn’t say what info he might have, probably because he doesn’t have anything.

    Da Best!
Out of all of the Michigan Football Podcasts. This is my favorite one. Isiah is awesome.

    Less Reading of Stats Needed
I listen to a few of the “Locked On” broadcasts and I find this one the hardest to listen to. Way too much reading of stats. Broadcasting 101 - don’t read to the listeners, you will lose them quickly. Oct 18, 2023 more than 50% is just the announcer reading.
  • northernbuckeye
    Complete circus
Michigan misses on Justin Scott and then this guy proceeds to talk stats over the last 2 years. Michigan got caught with their pants down and he continues to try to justify it.
  • AUser857091
    Great Information but…
    …too much personal moving & personal poor health talk to wade through to get to it;
  • Ben VanSumeren
    Awfully autobiographical
It’s not like I don’t listen, because I’m a Michigan football degenerate, but sometimes it’s hard to sift through the autobiographical gruel that nobody asked for.
  • Bj33smith
    Shows Sporadic If Any
It seems the only consistency about this show is the lack of shows produced during the week. It could be a week of zero shows, to a week of 5 shows (white unicorn) but most likely you’ll get 1-3 shows if you’re lucky.
  • Genesis III
    Good Show Turned Average
Inconsistent/lacking content. This podcast used to be my go-to, now it’s 4th string on the Michigan depth chart. Too many ads for a 30 minute podcast and Isiah always seems to have excuses for lack of content.

    Pass
I understand some fans get a little carried away but the constant fan bashing by the host is a bit much.

We not back but we coming! Feeling optimistic…
Love the pod! How do you feel about the reinvigorated Harbaugh I feel as though when he first got there he was like this going everywhere in the off season doing all kinds of Harbaugh things on the recruiting trail but someone behind the scenes had to have told him to tone it down but now his back is against the wall he is going back to being himself and even more motivated. I always perform well under pressure and believe he will as well. What do you think?
  • booty1icious
    Great info
To keep it simple, Isaiah is great. He has a lot of great insights and does a great job of keeping the listener engaged. HAS to do a better job with consistency of podcasts though. Always claims there will be more podcasts later in the week and routinely doesn’t post them, and has excuses on why he didn’t. It’s my biggest gripe! Other than that I love listening
  • david britannica xiv
    Just awful. Michigan Cope.
Just terrible pollyannaish blech. Never says a bad thing about the program or criticizes the program. Basically just “wait till harbaugh gets his guys.” Nothing is ever michigans fault, and we never lost we just ran out of time. Its every foolish caricature of what the country despises about Michigan fans. Listen to mgoblog or something with actual analysis and intellectual heft.

    Delusion
I’m not sure what podcast some of you are reviewing with these 1 and 2 stars. Isaiah is great! I love listening it’s something different and not the same dull tone all the time. Also he is a brother in Metal!! 🤘🏾

    Isaiah is excellent.
Too many Michigan outlets are a bit too full of themselves. Isaiah gives good, unbiased information and is clear as to what he knows, and what is his opinion.
  • Groovyapp
    Inconsistent, non-reliable/professional
I would love to give this podcast 5 stars but can’t. Only consistency is him ghosting his audience. Too busy with Play Station or walking his dog. I’d grade his performance as: D-

    In the Middle
Put the various reviews together and you get a pretty fair assessment of this show. I listen sometimes in spite of myself because the show has its flaws. I can understand a few missed shows and illness is an excuse I can accept. But when you say there will for be a show tomorrow or 5 shows this week and there is no show or only 3 of 5 shows and this happens more than once, this is frustrating. It is also fair to say that if Isaiah has the football or basketball acumen of some others who regularly comment on Michigan football like Sam Webb or half a dozen others, it doesn’t show. Finally, his candor about what he knows and doesn’t know is refreshing, but sometimes he is his own worst enemy apologizing to much or talking too much about his personal situation and why that has it allowed him to do a better job. With all this being said, his manner, quirkiness and enthusiasm are all plus factors, and while often he simply repeats what Harbaugh or some player has said in a press conference (happens with almost all UM sports bloggers) he does have an original perspective as well as news and insights you don’t get from other commentators. I also like the show’s length which allows me to take in a show on a short walk. Listen to a few shows if he is to your taste subscribe as I do. If not following him will be a waste of time.

    Terrible at posting
Tired of the inconsistent posting schedule and various, had to unsubscribe.

    Unprofessional Release Cadence
At least once per week there is an excuse as to why he can’t release an episode. If you don’t like doing podcasts, don’t do them. But to gain a loyal following of listeners your release cadenced MUST become way more consistent. This podcast comes off as very unprofessional relative to other locked on network podcasts given how unreliable the content delivery is.
  • Mrizzo87
    Homer
This guy is a typical Michigan media slappy. I’m a Michigan fan but I like fair and balanced talk and this show just doesn’t do it for me.
  • Fast Eddie Felton
    Well Balanced
This is by far my favorite podcast. Isaiah is very philosophical in his approach to covering Michigan football. He tells the truth without whining and complaining about Harbaugh and the players.
  • 94 Yards of Offense total
    Jimmys & Joes, not X’s & O’s
Isaiah has made this podcast about the Jimmy’s and Joes while primarily neglecting the X’s and O’s, like nearly every other U-M podcast (Especially the “Insiders”). Seems like this is more of a gossip/storytelling show that usually involves U-M football. He doesn’t quite come across as someone who knows the intricacies of the sport of football, or even someone who has experience playing the sport. It’s more of an ohh this guy said this to him and that podcast is wrong because Michigan is always right or something similar. Never a breakdown of the offensive woes or defensive schematics. I like Isaiah as a person and he seems very relatable and kind; although I’m not sure those attributes help a media personality/podcaster very much. Anyways, he’s a Michigan Man who loves and defends other Michigan Men at all cost. He also despises the local Detroit media based on the amount of lambasting done towards the other media personalities. Give it a listen, see for yourself, and support THE best University in the land. Go Blue!

    Great show
Good listen for wolverine fans. Only daily pod of its kind on this beat. Isaiah is also a good guy.
