Scarf and Filly are the best! Haven’t missed an episode because there just fantastic and entertaining full of amazing content. Definitely a Podcast you should be listening too if your a LAFC fan

They toot their own horn A LOT and glorify Carlos vela and his “left foot of god”.. I do like the this day in LAFC history, they don’t know much of soccer IQ, one of them didn’t know who Zlatan was before the first tráfico meaning they don’t watch any soccer outside of the MLS or at least at that point they didn’t but maybe they do now? They beg for 5 stars and I dislike people that do that like let people rate you on what they feel is a fair score for your content.

Have you of Kevin and Bean from Kroq? Well The Filly and the Scarf are that Dynamic due for the hottest MLS Team LAFC, they started less than a year ago and this is all I listen to. These guys are the best, they are so energetic and positive, and analyze things that matter for the team. They don’t allow negativity and don’t give personal opinions, like many others do. That is important to me because I love this club so much. The Defenders keep growing and improving, you must check them out, they will make your day better :)

These guys give some great commentary and recap of the last game, which is the reason to listen to this podcast. The hosts are enthusiastic fans of the team and it shows. Unfortunately, they have decided to add about 10 minutes of filler to the beginning of the podcast. The birthdays segment is tiresome and irrelevant to the material, and I don’t find the “this day in LAFC history” segment to be that compelling. I have found that the best way to listen is to start every episode about 10 minutes in, to get to the meat of the show.

This is hands down the best podcast for LAFC, and soccer in general. As someone who didn’t know a ton about soccer or MLS, I’ve learned so much from these guys! I love their energy and passion for the team, and I love how they are all about positive support for the team, and not ragging on anyone after a loss. Black & Gold!!

Mark my words, J.R. the Scarf and Filly A.K.A. Filimonster are on their way towards becoming historical legends for LAFC. As per usual of any new team, there are an abundance of new everything; merchants, artists, community leaders, and in this case... Podcasts. This wasn’t necessarily a bad thing, some were OK and others quickly realized that they weren’t. Defenders of the Banc is a clear cut above all of that, you can see their improvement massively rise with each new episode as they do what it takes to be the #1 Podcast of LAFC and it’s clear that they’re leading the race. If you’re looking for an LAFC podcast, this is the one for you. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT miss out on listening to them from the beginning. These two are on their way towards becoming the Vin Scully’s of Los Angeles Football Club, wouldn’t you like to listen along as the Defenders of the Banc go from LAFC supporters with a podcast to LAFC legends? This podcast is a must listen to anyone who is a LAFC supporter. It’s a podcast for LAFC supporters by LAFC supporters. The two guys who host the podcast are season seat holders who love the club and give us fellow supporters great insight on our favorite football club.

Congrats boys on starting something fresh!!! For a lot of people like me who are stuck in traffic going to work and coming home...Defenders are a great option for anything LAFC related....looking forward to a great future!!!
