SadieKenCelebrity worshipAt first, I loved him. I loved this podcast and his books…but the more I looked into him the more I discovered who he really was. He is nothing more than a fraud who worships celebrities. It’s all so superficial. He is about nothing but celebrity culture and money. Disgusting.
-
Audio AficionadoFraudHe lied about his credentials and plagiarized quotes. I am glad I looked him up before I continued listening.

pickled.mangoesCollective HealingListening to the guests’ sensitive, and deep stories provide healing opportunities for people and the planet. Most importantly, this remind us that we are all connected, and share a path of suffering but when we heal ourselves, we heal everything and everyone around us!

Scoper410Dr. Casey is Off The Charts AwesomeI love Jay Shetty. I enjoy every interview and the variety of people and topics. I have to say Dr. Casey was absolutely amazing. I immediately ordered her book. Thank you for your work and sharing your vast knowledge. You spoke and presented in a way that made so much sense as well as motivated me to once again make an effort to heal my body so I can better connect with my source. Thank you so much.

Justhowifeel85So sad that he isn’t who he says he isI use to be a huge Jay fan. Bought his two books, got the calm app, payed for Genius and even went to his live show. And then to come across numerous articles and podcast about who he really is, turned me off. I wanted to give him another chance and I tried to re listen to this show and I can’t anymore.

KeeperColtPhenomenalWhen I listen to Jay, I experience feelings of peace and calmness. He is so genuine in his delivery of practical conversations and techniques to improve your overall well being. So happy and grateful for this podcast as a resource to continue listen, learn and growth. Thank you Jay and keep up the amazing work.

ScordraI Woke Up LaughingListening to the April 1 podcast with Gary Brecka, which was great, though he mentions you can’t wake up laughing. Well I have and did during a sleep test. In fact, I remembered it the next morning and filled out my paperwork detailing the dream that caused me to wake up laughing. This sleep study was recorded on video. Anyhow, love this podcast, Jay brings so many things into awareness! I’m quite new to listening, but I can tell you that I already know this is one of my favorites!!!

NoLongerInWacoHe’s literally a fraudDoes no one keep up with this? He’s a fraud. He’s fake.

KasssshhhhhTOO MANY ADS :(It’s hard to be listening to something spiritual/ sensitive and then be pulled into an advertisement every 10 minutes. Love you Jay, but maybe there’s a way you can dedicate the beginning or the end to incorporating your ads. It’s so distracting and takes away from the message and the overall vibe. Still rating 5 stars, but starting to pull away from this pod :(

carla2692Oop—Are people still listening to this? YIKES

SweeteaaaPhoney!Jay Shetty is a fraud. He has blatantly plagiarized other spiritual leader’s work and has explicitly lied about his experience and history with spiritualism and monk. Don’t be fooled. Stay away from this cult-like podcast and following.

Ashrafultlove...Great to hear this episode.. ❤️
-
absabrinacdThank youLove all the solo episodes, really liked the last solo episode on how to set boundaries without offending people 💖 setting boundaries have become the norm but they can come off harsh so I love how you give a different take on setting boundaries by being empathetic of other people’s feelings. Thank you!

Peter KenanEgo through the back doorAs Eckart Tolle has educated and warned against the ego coming through the “back door”, I see this result more and more with Jay Shetty (picture of himself on his first book, the guest who commented running in to Jay at Dubai International Airport, flying 1st class on Emirates Airlines, etc. Ad nauseam). What happened to stillness and presence?

Simonita the GreatAuthenticity and loveI love what Jay Shetty stands for, he’s beautifully, authentic, wonderfully flawed, and open to talk about anything with intention. He seems to be a genuinely and joyful person, especially towards his community and loved ones. I most especially enjoyed his discussion with Matthew Hussey. Matthew was another persona that I have come to adore , bearing the same qualities as Jay in regards to authenticity, and beautifully flawed, and owning it. It is so important to own our imperfections, flaws, because there’s no such thing as perfection within a human, and there’s no such thing as being unflawed as a human so it’s important to own it and own it beautifully. And these men do so with all heart and invitation.

LoveJones74Mark HusseyThis episode was right on time! I am currently going through a break up that caught me completely off guard and the first thing I said to myself is “what did I do?” This episode helped me gain some clarity on the situation and I’m so grateful! Love this podcast and the insightful content!

Anacubacami🌴Thank you Jay Shetty and your team!!!I don’t write reviews, however I’ve been compelled to write a review for this podcast because it is engaging, educative and very helpful for a needed change in our “modern society’s mindsets”. I forward most of the interviews to my 20-year old son with a purpose!!: the topics discussed are similar to our arguments but this time are convincing, it is like a “socialization” of a scientific knowledge. The interviews are masterfully prepared to achieve this! Personally, I’ve been able to “feed” my curiosity and enrich my personal library. I recommend it to many of my friends. I have the suggestion to make this interviews accesible to Spanish-speaking audience and other languages too!

BashàLife changing podcastRecently I’ve been going through a really tough time. I’ve been sober for one week and I’ve listened to your podcast everyday during that week. I was searching for answers to my problems, and through your conversation with La La I got so many answers. I received so much hate as kid for the color of skin, and it made me hate myself, which led to addiction to escape those feelings. After listening to this podcast I realized it was never my fault, and after 4 years, I finally have gotten to the root of my addiction issues, and it’s all thanks to your podcast. Thank you so much Jay, you’ve truly changed my life.

VC_MDAds.Tough to find the content through the ridiculous number of ads. Very annoying.

lunchbsgEvery week something inspiringI listen to every episode. This man is genuine and is actively working towards helping the world become kinder, more thoughtful and motivated to make positive change in their own lives and in community. Serious, but joyful, Jay is fostering real personal growth in this modern world. It’s a beautiful combo. He’s a real hero is many senses! He has an open heart and a curious mind, a gracious conversationalist creating space for deep and personal conversations. He interviews amazing inspiring people who blow me away, even when I may have my own prior judgements honestly. Always learning new information, new stories, and helpful ways of rethinking. I think my only wish is that he would not focus primarily on wealthy “successful” people. It also seems he has a bias when speaking to his audience, as if all people listening are in his own age group, which can alienate audiences at times. Because my thought is not everyone is in their mid thirties, and not all want to become CEOs or worship them. I mean that with all the love. Because we are all interesting people, no matter what job we do, what class we are part of, are from or have come into, and all cultures, age groups, are valuable, etc. Most everyone has a inspirational story to tell. Bottom line, I very much appreciate his work bringing insightful and current information on mental health, wellness, functional medicine, psychology, self improvement, spirituality and healthy communication to the world twice a week, it is truly great stuff. I find every show incredibly beneficial! I do overall champion his work and recommend his episodes constantly to my friends. Yay Jay! Thank you for all you do, and very best wishes to you and your team.

Yoipod4yBBJay can grow, listeners and critics tooI think there’s area for growth and validity in the critiques if Jay and his team open the space for feedback. On IG they need to get better at citing and giving credits to authors of quotes on both image and caption. On the podcast Jay can name the scientific studies he makes claims on: whole title of study, authors, what they did and what they found. Same for books and use of concepts and theories: who wrote them who proposed a concept etc. Other listeners can start demanding these standards not only to Jay but also other wellness podcasts where they don’t cite and just make health and psychology claims. Listeners can also learn to use what serves them from Jay’s advice and leave the rest.

MsndjskxA phonyFraud. Even the podcasts can’t hide it. He knows nothing. Uses what everyone’s already said and done etc. nothing knew here. Watch the scandal. He’s in deep. Knew it was too good to be true!

Efficient clientDine with Kate SullivanI really enjoyed this interview and look forward to eating at “fresh”! On the other hand, I loved your wisdom and would love to hear your wisdom on the generation of children taking caring of our parents, especially for persons who don’t have the funds for caregivers and also, do not qualify for government agency help. I lost my beloved mother literally end of 2019 who was in a wheelchair for almost 8 years and it was a great challenge but I loved my Mother and I am a very responsible person so took care of her. My Father is a amazing man and he became wheelchair bound almost 14 months ago, I am very solution-oriented, so it’s working. But, he only trusts me and we are together 24/7!!! None of my siblings will help, as I lived with my parents (at their request and I am a American born of Indian descent) and am the single girl. I don’t worry about them, but, being home bound 24/7 is hard, during the pandemic it made sense. I tried having friends but that became stressful as they expected me to make a elaborate meal and it took away the quality care I need to give to my dear Father thus me feeling very stressed. I feel I have no friends and no life, accept the tv! I do have a lovely dog, he brings me so much joy. My situation and this is the realistic life is caring for my father, but I have lost my worth.

Future MommaJ shetty is a fraudLook no further than the recent scandals he’s been involved in- plagiarism, lying about credentials, don’t listen, support or buy to someone like this. There are far more qualified and honest people to tune into- this guy isn’t one of them!!!
-
TheBrowneyedgalAgainst all oddsI listened to the episode with Victoria Jackson twice - it is one of the best podcasts I have ever come across. What an inspiration! What a life story! I bet the episode only covered the tip of the iceberg. She is such an inspiration, and I do not say that lightly! I am truly fascinated by her resilience, her stamina, her perseverance, her accomplishments, and her desire and willingness to see and bring out the goodness in others. I wish her a long & healthy life. May she continue to inspire, create and make things happen. What an extraordinary story!
-
mocadeliteJay Shetty we appreciate you!Me and my sisters love this podcast and it has resonated with us on so many deep levels. Thank you for your staying “on purpose.”

Superslime000Too many adsAds are too distracting and make it difficult to get into the necessary headspace for otherwise great information.

rive.tingDisappointing, it has very little in the way of substanceNot surprised about the article in the Guardian’s. A friend recommended this podcast but it left me disappointed. I tried to give it a chance but by the third episode I was cringing and it was actually making me anxious. All the advice is generic and hashed together from other people who aren’t credited. It’s one of the worst things I have listened to and I was kicking myself because I had wasted my time on this blather. His delivery is extremely cheesy and all over the place. It’s bad when the ads and the content sound very similar. He mentioned he spends only two hours on each episode and it shows. The podcast would be much better if he talked more about his own personal expereinces in greater detail and wove in what he learned. And be honest and credit the people who came up with the methods that you recommend.I hope he does some soul searching and revamps this podcast. It needs to be slower, personal with a more methodical approach vs. rushing through an amalgam of borrowed stuff. And he needs to stop being so trite and try to be himself.
-
Nai168444He’s been exposed as a liar about being a MonkHe lied about being a monk with multiple discrepancies about his past thanks to the Guardian article. Im shocked that a man so huge on spirituality and truthfulness is a liar and a fraud.

GrandheasherIt’s like therapy without leaving the houseGo to personal therapy too, but also listen to this. Talk about things from here in therapy! You’ve got this! I believe in you!

Ruge FamilyHands down the best! This is by far the absolute best podcast! The content is always full of wise words from the host himself as well as his guests. Even if you think the topic isn’t applicable to you, you’ll never walk away disappointed after listening. There is always something of value to take away from any of the shows in his collection! Thank you Jay Shetty!

ninkeymagashAwful podcast with useless informationAll the advice he gives out is very bland and can be found anywhere in any basic news / self-help site. Also his life shows are awful. He forced a woman on stage to confront her brother and it was mortifying and an awful, awful experience to witness. I can’t imagine what it must’ve been like for them to be on the stage going through that. I’m not sure why this guy thinks he’s famous. He certainly doesn’t deserve to be.
