    Need a Clear Conscience Revival
Listened to this show since day 1 and still come back to listen to the episodes! Miss this show and one of the best music podcasts out there! If Dave & Joel did a surprise drop I think the world would implode with excitement and awe! You guys rock

    I keep coming back!
I love this podcast. I wish they were still making episodes!! But because there are no new episodes I keep coming back to listen to classic bits. I especially love the episode Cowboy Corpse because they did my cool Beatles bit about Yoko and such. I hope they come back, but until then I’ll keep coming back and listening to a few episodes at a time.

    Very fun experience
This podcast is much better than their previous podcast because it not only has the boys being funny, but they also try to make songs that are almost all original but still funny.

    Enjoy
Finally found it after searching everywhere after first hearing of it on here’s an idea podcast.

    No Thanks
Caught a random episode expecting an interview and instead found lots of yelling and comedy? No thanks guys. Hosts sound like they’re in the middle of a five day coke binge and trying to squeeze impressions out of a stone. Not sure of the point of this.

    Wonderful podcast
The Noise Hole is absolutley wonderful to listen to. The hosts have wonderful chemistry with each other and you not only jokes, but you get history as well. Happy to be a Noise Boi and Gary is the best part of the Podcast.

    My favorite podcast
The Noise Hole creatively write songs and play their guitars mostly all on the spot. And all of these songs usually come from the insanely funny conversations they have. The hosts, Dave and Joel also have a lot of info about guitars and how to find your niche as a guitarist, and they have plenty of funny and embarrassing stories from when they performed as teenagers. They actually inspired me to learn how to play the guitar. I’m happy to be a Noise Boi

Great podcast for musicians and non-musicians alike!
This truly is a great podcast. I’ve found myself laughing out loud at times because some of the stuff they do is just that hilarious! Not everyday you see a musical improv group execute jokes almost perfectly.
  • Rootator
    My big boy favorite
If you want a podcast about music, poop jokes, and teaching a homunculus how to play the drums, then this is the one for you. I had no idea about the music before, but now I can kinda hold a conversation about it. Funny and great and good and cool

    Almost really great
If good music podcasts are a couple layers of warm jackets in cold snowy weather, this one’s like an expensive sweater from Patagonia.

    great even for the clueless
I originally came from... the other podcast... and I'm glad to hear a totally different sound here! I'm sure my review will just get lost amongst the rest, but I just wanted to say - my dad raises me with the Ramones, Springstein, and a little bit of Black Sabbath, and that's about it for that side of music. So I'm pretty clueless about many of the artists you talk about, but this gives me an opportunity to hear the different types of music associated with each band! Plus, there's a really great balance of crazy, stupid, funny, and genuinely thoughtful. I don't think I'm a genuine Noise Boy yet, since I can't donate to the pateron yet, but here's my small contribution of a review. Keep doing what you're doing! ~ Calvin

It’s got noise and it’s in a hole what more do you need?

The Review Hole for Dave and Joel
To reprise what I said about Here’s An Idea, big fan of everything C&H! Gotta say Dave and Joel are my favorite boys, and on HAI, Maximum Shred was my favorite episode, making this my new favorite podcast. Honestly, considering I listen to 20 podcasts consistently, that’s an accomplishment, so congratulations! Also, I have a new favorite boi, and that’s Gary

    A cavernous hole of noise.
Probably one of the most entertaing lineups of a mute dull witted drummer, the actual moon, and some other guy.
  • STR4206
    Gary is not real
I’m on to you. There is no Gary. You two are yelling at nothing. 5 stars!
  • TheGreatGato
A must-listen for any rock aficionado
If you have even a passing interest in rock lore, you owe it to yourself to listen to even more demented versions of already pretty sketchy events. Dave and Joel deliver some hilarious, stunningly good (if twisted) impressions of bands spanning every decade of rock. You can tell how much they enjoy the music whether they're (hot dogging) around or talking more seriously. If you read this, how about Pantera teaching at an elementary school?

    Best Podcast!
Love this podcast to the Dave and back.

    What an enjoyable show.
Clarence the morally conscious session bassist might be the best new sketch character.
  • jeffro_tull
    Hilariously awful or awfully hilarious?
Some of the humor in this show isn’t for the faint of heart (just ask Clarence BassPlayer). I can’t get enough of it, though.

    The noise hole
A hole full of noise. And how much else can I say? If you like picking apart all great forms of music and walking a mile in musicians shoes this is for you. P.S. Lemmy’s retro rundown is the best skit of all time.
  • Aerosmith Dude
    Aerosmith in a Denny’s
Aerosmith was my favorite band growing up... but now I won’t be able to listen to them or simply enjoy a visit to Denny’s without thinking of Steven Tyler going to town at breakfast. Love the show and it’s absolutely hilarious. Keep up the great work!
  • Mooso365
    More goodbye theme
Wish Joel would let Dave do his goodbye noise boys theme at the end of every episode like he wants to 😩

    Top notch music podcast
Joel & Dave have a wonderful chemistry that is evident within moments of listening. Their friendship shines through here as they create hilarious songs. They are both accomplished musicians and artists and they’re funny as hell.
  • noahzx
    One of my favorite podcasts
This podcast is made by two passionate creators, Dave and Joel, who put so much love and care into their work that you can’t help but be swept into their rock and roll world. I’m only familiar with about 35-40% of the bands or songs that they discuss, but that does not hinder my enjoyment in any way at all. Their anecdotes, song covers, creativity, and talent, both as content creators as well as (really incredible) musicians, make every second of the podcast worthwhile, with their infectious duo charisma keeping the momentum going at all times. If you are even considering giving this podcast a listen, press play and enjoy the ride.

    Improv comedy + jam session
What's not to love about improvised comedy and jamming? And their impersonations are downright hilarious (and spot-on at times). Where else will you hear Aerosmith get creepy in a Denny's? Or Lemmy sing about his favorite old school video games? Nowhere but the Noise Hole. 10/10.

If you like 90’s nostalgia, great guitar playing, good impressions of your favorite musicians, and hilarious mash-ups, this podcast should tickle your fancy. The lovely Joel and the lovely Dave create great tunes that get stuck in my head constantly. Gary is okay, I guess. Love these bois!

    The best music podcast
Songs about hotdog parents or breaking up while making cookies are always stuck in my head. Great work from the lovely Dave and somewhat lovely Joel. Would recommend 10/10

One of the best podcasts out there
This podcast is one of my new favorites. It never fails to give me the giggles at work when I’m at my most miserable. Both it and Here’s an Idea are one of the few things I look forward to in my day to day. Give em a listen, you won’t regret it!

    They Did It Again
Those darn Explosm boi’s managed to grab my attention for approximately another hour per week. I know about 1/2 of the music references they make (pre 1980’s is ehhhhh), but still a delight bunch of fun. Here’s an ide... recommendation: listen to this.

    The boi review
I’m honestly in love with both Here’s an idea and the noise hole keep up the tasty work boi’s. By the way if you get back to me I can tell you a way to kill and or get rid of mrs. explosm.
