not even a tigers fan… but man, listening to scott talk about the tigers? electric Gonna add, love the show so much. Don’t need to apologize for going long on the show. I speak for everyone that we love and want the long shows.

    Love it!
We live in Alaska but our roots are deep in Michigan. I miss my Tiger games but this podcast is awesome! So glad I found it!

    Great Show!
Great show listen every day. Scott really knows analytics and does a great job of mixing in his intelligent opinions. His opinions are neither as a hater nor homer.
  • TaxHammer
    Weak
He shows if he can do a podcast anyone can! I’m out! Never again!

    Love show.
Ignor people who complain about the show. I love the information and strategy. don’t need to know why you talk about topics
  • MitchL24
    Excellent podcast
Scott mixes humor, logic, knowledge and enough statistics to state his case on the Tigers’ performance of the day. Not over bearing and understands others hold different opinions of the team. Very conversational delivery. I look forward to every show.

    Great show through and through
Daily education on the current state of the tigers

    Angry host is annoying
He repeated “No one cares about the heat” like 12 times in todays episode while complaining about how none of the broadcasters would stop talking about the weather. Consistently pessimistic. When the Tigers lose he does no analytics. Just screams about how terrible they are. This show is awful. Stay far away.

Loving it, keep up the good work Scott!
New fan, REALLY enjoying the show. If I can’t watch the game Scott keeps me in the loop. Go Tigers!

    Fantastic!
Scott is very knowledgeable, objective and very passionate about our Tigers. However, I docked one star because the audio has been pretty atrocious lately. It makes it very annoying to listen to. Not sure why it hasn’t been fixed.

    5/5
Scott truly knows his stuff, especially when it comes to analytics. I’ve been around the game of baseball since birth, but I’ve learned so much while listening to Locked on Tigers. You’re doing a great job, Scott. Keep it up!
  • Illegaleopard
“Man I got to stop saying that word so much”
I feel like he just says he’s pro player 5 times an episode and regurgitates the same statistical “it” words and numbers and then nonsensically rambles to fill in the rest. If the podcast was half as long, less repetitive, and less rambling I would dig it. Homeboy just needs to get better at speaking to a non participating audience.

    Locked on Tigers?
    I mean it’s meh I would give it a 3 out of 5.
  • JohnCzech23
Made it through half an episode
Wow is this guy terrible. Just rambling to fill time, no structure to the show, awful. Icing on the cake “Brandon Inge was the man”. Yeah, shows about all the knowledge of the franchise this dude has.

Scott’s the best Detroit Tigers podcaster out there!
  • MotowN'Showtown
    Huge error!
What a faux paux! After an excellent job of breaking down the Top five Tiger teams of the 21st century..numnut misspeaks & says…”and that’s why the 2014 team lost to the Boston Red Sox in the ALCS!” Huh? I thought they were SWEPT by the Orioles that year in the ALDS?? Boy..did THAT ruin my day.
  • mattpiggins
    Awful
Love the tigers. But this is practically unlistenable. Ostensibly zero prep and little real knowledge of baseball.
  • Lucky #Sleven
    Obviously
There are 1.7 million people in Wayne County, and this is the best Locked On could do? To quote the ill-prepared host “I don’t know man. I don’t know.”
  • Chadthe3rd
    Love crazy..
So Scott, Dave Dahl. Sure u explained why u love him so much on previous cast. But dumbfounded. No Tiger/Michigan roots. Of course he was third or fourth guy u loved. Guess it’s a 23 ur old thing. But kinda nauseating m!
  • Indianasniff
    Yikes
Mr Bentley is trying. But he needs to prepare more material for his podcast. Repeats himself far too often trying to fill time. Was excited for the Throwback idea. He chose to throw back to Steven Moya. Really. Why throw back to that?? Want this to be better. Chris did a great job with this podcast. Voice of the fan while being very informative. Maybe this will get better

    Great tigers podcast
Scott is a great host. Very knowledgeable and has a passion for the tigers. I like the different segments, especially the episode about prospects when there was a rainout
  • Realcollege
    Love the new host!!!!!!
Keep up the positive! I love this podcast. New host is awesome!

Scott Bentley is the best host you’ve ever had
Hey Locke, please keep Scott for as long as possible, his content is awesome, and he’s easy to listen to. He is truly a Tiger fan with a load of knowledge, previous hosts were not nearly as good of a listen, and didn’t have his personality. I appreciate being critical without being a whiner.

    Back again
Now that Bentley took over this pod, i can come back to get my Tiger info. The guy knows his ball, especially Tigers baseball from the minors to the big club. 👏👏👏

    Excellent, I listen daily!
Edit: unfortunately the host left show in the middle of the season with very little notice. There’s been no announcements of a replacement and communication has been poor. It’s now been 3 or 4 weeks. Pretty disappointed in the Locked Down network. I discovered this podcast, hosted by the well-prepared and entertaining Chris Castellani, around the holidays and haven’t missed an episode. I catch most Tigers games and enjoy Castellani’s added insight into the games, and when I miss a game, the recaps and analysis are a good substitute. I appreciate the insight into the team, and value Castellani’s perceptive take on such issues as mental illness, misogyny, domestic abuse, etc. as they come up in baseball (though I kind of wished he’d have talked about ex-Tigers Granderson and Edwin Jackson’s role in the voting rights action in Georgia). Overall, this is a can’t-miss podcast for Tigers fans and like it even more since the longer format was implemented. Great job!

    Spastic Screaming and Little Analysis
Aside from selling auto parts and granola bars, I have no idea why this podcast is still being produced. The host, Chris, is a younger equivelant to a crazy uncle that yells and screams the moment something doesn't go his way. There are so many Detroit Tigers podcasts that offer analysis, thought-provoking discussion, voices from women and minorities, humor, the list goes on. With Chris Castellani hosting, this show offers none of those aspects. Instead, you get screaming and shouting from someone that doesn't know how to be professional and offer a differing opinion without creating a frenzy. I thought society was moving away from this crass behavior? I guess not. The host, with all sincerity, needs help.
  • TigersJC86
    Brutally honest
I love Chris’s passion for the Tigers shows through (often in anger rants) especially during the given regime’s failures and lack of desire to compete. I just wish it was a little longer
  • Jrock887
Finally! Someone who speaks the truth!
I’ve been looking for a Tigers Podcast that isn’t just a bunch of homers with rose colored glasses. Chris praises the Tigers when they do good, but he isn’t afraid to be critical of their faults. Especially when ownership and management lets down its fan base. Great player and game analysis.

    Better podcasts out there
Listen to Tigers SRD or Turning the corner. Much better tigers podcasts. A lot less fluff and more in depth analysis. No big egos or screaming half the time.

    Let’s go tigers.
My go to podcast for all things tigers, thanks for all of the great content
  • Friar Tuck51
    An entertaining informative show
If you are a long suffering Tiger fan (since 1961); this is the pod for you. Don’t always agree with Chris; but he knows the Tigers and is not a homer. Good show to subscribe to!

    Updated Review
Chris has a great personality and is getting better at podcasting with every show. I was critical of him in a previous review for covering non-baseball related topics but he has been great and his analysis of mental health topics is fantastic. I look forward to every episode and I’m hoping Chris gets back to Twitter during the season so we can get post game recaps

    Favorite podcast
Gonna start this review by saying that It is without a doubt my favorite podcast. I don’t listen to podcasts that often, and I’m subscribed to like 20 of them but this is the only one that I’m refreshing every few days to see if he uploaded it yet. The content is fantastic. I’ve followed Chris and interacted with him on Twitter since he blew up a few years ago for the awesome rant videos. It’s awesome to see where he’s at now, and it’s only up from here. The knowledge of baseball and the tigers is top notch. Opinions are better than any local radio hosts and other podcasts that I’ve tried to listen to. The honestly and his honestly with mental health and how he deals with being on the spectrum is the reason I respect Chris as much as I do. The “political talk” as he refers to it as, does not bother me AT ALL, in fact those might be his best shows (besides when he’s ranting). The only *negative* I would say is that the shows are often short and in a way, sort of rushed sometimes. I know talking about the tigers, especially during the off-season might be difficult, but I know Chris has more inside that he wants to say. I wouldn’t mind at all if the content, during the season, eclipsed two 25-30 minute segments or longer. I’m sure there’s more I could say but that’s all I got. I’ve never written a review before but I felt like I had to for this 😂 5/5 easily. More like 6/5.

    Good stuff
Great show! Can’t imagine how hard it is to come up with so much tigers material, but he swings it.

    Chris CasteGOATi
This man Chris is out of his mind. This man is en FUEGO. It can be tough following a baseball team that’s in the middle of a rebuild, but Chris makes the journey feel worth it! Chris is entertaining, knowledgeable, and genuine: a rare combination, to be sure.
  • Nash14356
