All locked on products are a complete joke
If you’re a new fan, or new to the sport this show is for you. They have 50% ads and 50% reading headlines….

    Chuck is annoying!!!
Chuck has slightly more good takes than bad ones. However, I unsubscribed and stopped listening daily due to his annoying and repetitive introduction. Listeners really don’t care if he’s a “long-time Wisconsin sportscaster in [his] second as host of Locked On Brewers.” It might be a good thing to do semi-weekly to give new listeners an idea of his bona fides, but when he feels the need to remind us of his credentials EVERY DAY and then proceed to give a lukewarm opinion it turns into a bad take pretty quickly. Oh and stop inserting personal anecdotes into ads. P.s. in spite of my review title, it should be noted that not every daily episode title needs three or more exclamation points.

Nice to have a Wisconsin guy
I always appreciate hosts who are from Milwaukee and live and breathe the team. Nothing against previous hosts but I’ve been listening to Chuck cover the team for years and it’s nice to have him recapping games yet again.

    Friedman is awful
The fact that Chick Friedman has the ability to spew his idiocy and moronic thoughts to anyone is a crime against humanity. Find a replacement.

    Great podcast
Great podcast. Chuck is very informative and knowledgeable. I always liked his writing, and his voice is even better.

    Chuck is not great….
I miss the old show. Sick of hearing him complain about us being a small market team and wanting us to go after guys we have no shot at. Long time listener but just unsubscribed. Not a fan.

    Narcist host
Chuck is hard to listen to. Finds negative in every situation. Spends too much time patting himself on the back. He acts like he knows everything and pretends that he predicted every move weeks prior. If you don’t know he’s covered the brewers for 40 years

Worst Locked On Podcast on Internet
Between the lip-smacking, hard swallows, and gulps for air, let alone the stammering, phrase disasters, and just meandering monologue - this is EASILY the WORST podcast ever devised by a human. There’s absolutely nothing enjoyable about listening to this self-important, deluded, ego maniac blather on about my favorite baseball team.

    Decent
Other than Chuck acting like he knows everything it’s a pretty good show. Still miss Dom

    Constant negativity
I’m glad the host is a Brewers fan. However, it’s hard to listen to rants constantly. I loved the few previous hosts, but the current one (2023) seems to be a “find the bad in every situation” fan/host. This is baseball. There will be bad games and players will have bad days. Other Brewer podcasts seem to understand the fact that, yes, we want to win a World Series, but it is not the end-all, be-all. Locked On Brewers has been on auto-download for a while on my phone, but I may turn it off just because it doesn’t seem the Brewers will ever play good enough for the host and I can’t take so much negativity and grouchiness before I’ve had my morning coffee…

    Incorrect information almost immediately
Chucks first podcast and less than 10 minutes in he gets his information wrong. Wiemer is not on the roster, he was never announced to be on the roster. So how does Chuck say Wiemer makes the team? 30 seconds of research would tell you he didn’t. Cmon man. Ridiculous.

    Will miss Brandon
I swear to god if they don't bring in a Milwaukee Brewer fan like they had last year the guy was clearly a Braves guy talking Brewers could care less about Milwaukee worst decision for this podcast. At least bring in someone who cares about our team. and bring back the minor league updates weekly.
  • jharv79
Can we just get a consistent host?!
I gotta give it 3 stars only because everytime I get used to a new host they leave and I get to go months without a podcast.
  • Chicazif
    Amazing and a little funny
Does not talk about random stuff and sticks to the Brewers. Believe in Devin Williams at closer he can do it.
  • jimbobbkk
    True fan experience
A bit like one those fans at the park voicing opinions with which I don’t often agree , but that’s all right. But then he had a guest this week who said Toro was the key acquisition this offseason, Miley will slot in as the 2 or 3 starter, the Crew’s mistake this offseason was not bringing back Cutch. I swear. I am not making that up.

    Come back Joe!
Like Brandon’s energy, but he seems more like a fan than true fan. He sounds like an angry fan that the brewers are sending out 30 mil a year deals for 11+ years for 30 year olds. Doesn’t seem to have the understanding of the plan in Milwaukee and appreciate the teams reluctance to go into tear down rebuilds because of bad contracts.
  • BiggMike1031
    Must listen
Brandon is an excellent host who knows his stuff. This is an absolute must listen for all Brewer fans!!!
  • Levon Jackson
    MUST LISTEN!
Love this podcast, it’s fun that a Brewers fan took this over! Great insight and loads of fun! You can feel the energy! Will be tuned in much more

    Brew Crew
Dom is the perfect mix of personal opinion and stats. He is going to go far in this field and I think we are blessed to have him on LOB right now!
  • Olson30
    Dom!
I aspire to be like Dom! Love the show.
  • Doug from DC
    Great podcast
    Tight, insightful, professional
  • Thecage24
    Great stuff
As a huge Brewers fan this duo is perfect for a daily Brewers podcast. Vinny and Domnare solid, building good chemistry and have great info. Would be better when @BrewersRaptor guests!
  • BrBoesch
    Great addition
Dom has been a great addition to the podcast! As a good friend of mine says, I think he’s doing a great job.
  • Stephiepants07
    Knowledgeable crew!
Vinny Rottino is such a genuine guy! Vinny and Dom make a great team.

I can’t believe how enjoyable and informative these podcasts are. A must-listen for Brewers fans. Highly recommended!

    Dom good addition
Dom seems like a good addition. Knowledgeable and brings some energy.

    Nice brewers podcast
I love the brewers and any talk about the brewers!
  • mfab24
    Not very good
The host of the show is almost unbearable to listen to not exciting not very informative and I don’t appreciate his takes. The show has no direction or flow
  • TheBlackfyre
    Not very good
I am a HUGE fan of most Locked On podcasts but this one is not good. The Locked On Bucks podcast is very good and Locked On Packers is the best there is with Peter Bukowski. Jake is boring but what makes it worse is he clearly doesn’t care about the Brewers at all. His bio says he’s a lifelong Braves fan. That’s fine, but then he should be covering the Braves. The Brewers’ fans deserve a host who’s actually a fan of the team and cares about their success. With this playoff series in particular, it feels so forced. He clearly wants the Braves to win, but he’s the Brewers Locked On host? There has to be a better host available to do this show.
  • jacksmar
    What’s with the audio quality?
The guy that’s not the host needs a new mic. Makes this almost un-listenable
  • CheesePitaRyan
Boring and please no more Vinny
This duo not up to the quality you’d expect from a Locked on podcast. Jake seems disengaged from the team and sounds like he’s going through the motions. Vinny has not been a good addition to the pod. You can tell how unprepared Vinny is with his info and for the love of god STOP EATING DURING THE SHOW. I’ll listen to other brewers podcasts until the hosts, or at least Vinny, are changed.
  • Hank755
    Insights Rare
Show fell off a cliff once new host joined in 2021. I’m sure Jake is a nice guy, but his takes are unoriginal, tone is flat, and most pods consist of regurgitated news you can get from countless other outlets. Most Brewers fans I know have a more informed historic and contemporary understanding of the franchise than can be found here. Wisconsin sports fans are used to, and deserve, a much higher standard.
  • egougar
    Sorry Vinny
Sorry, but the addition of Vinny R. to the podcast has reduced its quality substantially. So now two stars. It is evident that he does not come prepared, and his takes are lame. It was much better when Jake was solo. Not sure if I will continue to listen as long as Vinny remains.
  • artsbjufd
    Needs a lot of work
How is this a “daily” podcast? As far as I can tell the host only puts out an episode in response to any Brewers related article on TradeRumors.
  • Gamereviewer123456
    Jake wake up!
Could they have gotten a more lifeless host. Was listening while running on the treadmill. Thought I was going to fall asleep.
  • operaoneyes
    No thanks.
Host is dry and a chore to stay tuned in on. Little to no presentation value.
  • Nickgagas
    Miss the old guy
I’m not sure in the new guy that is talking about the Brewers. He sounds like a robot n not happy about talking about the Brewers. The old guy was fire and u could tell he was a fan of the team. Not sure the reasoning of the change but I think a change will need to happen again.
  • stu cope
    Along way to go
The new guy has long way to go and big shoes to fill. Good Luck!

Host sounds like he lives in Illinois with all the negativity he brings

    Great Brewers Podcast
This is my go-to daily Brewers podcast. Ben does a great job breaking down the “3-up” and “3-down” segment and has great guests like Dr. Scott break down the analytics. I like the sponsors too and have bought their products.
  • SlamalamadingdongMKE
    Great podcast for fans
Host does a good job of being an optimistic fan while still addressing concerns...this is a great podcast for Brewers fans...interesting analytical/statistical takes as well...certainly worth subscribing to!
  • TOPH2005
I just added this podcast today
I think this will be a good podcast I hope !
  • DB79er
    Love it!
As an out of town fan this show is absolutely invaluable. Keep up the great work and all of the great analytics!
  • Orivers28
    Keep it up, Doc!
Tuesday’s with Dr Scott are awesome!! FTC
  • mjheitk
    Keep it up
I’m a daily listener to Locked on Bucks and listen to Locked on Packers occasionally as well. Been waiting a long time for a Brewers version. I love the open and I like the content to far as well. Being an out of town fan means it’s not always convenient to listen to Milwaukee sports radio so I love the podcast form. Go Brewers
