JRHB 73The bestWarm, funny - their real friendship makes them one of the best double acts on a podcast.

_c-f5 stars from America2025 - just updating, reiterating the opinion that this is premium content. Especially after the riveting episode (with CLIFFHANGER!!!) #425 - the Credit Score Special. Plot twists! Hubris! Educational! —————— 2021ish? As directed, I am obediently submitting my 5 star review. I do NOT want to find out what “or else” means.

Alexis in New YorkLosing it’s edge fastNot long ago my favorite pod but since went recorded and John’s lost edginess (full support of course to him… nothing but admiration) there’s no longer any spark or edginess. Plus it’s increasingly preachy. Not long for the dust I sense
-
laura_clarinetsPremium Bants!I’m a recent devotee on my journey to become a Retro Oner. Premium banter and delightful chat from lovely brave little soldiers. Sending thanks for the many years of content to catch up on from Virginia, USA (trees)
-
Classic MudgeDusty or leafyLoved the chat about whether a particular state was either dusty or leafy, and I worry a state like Oregon or Washington might boggle your minds! Yours truly, An American
-
JEG439Two BozosThere’s no reason why I should like these two bozos. And yet I do. Very much so.
-
RhodeIsland (America!)ObsessionMy podcast obsessions come and go, but John and Elis — and Dave! — continue to fascinate and entertain year after year.
-
AlssummJust superb.Followed them since the old place, and whatever format their show takes I wouldn’t miss it. Just lovely humans, relatable in all life things wonderful and challenging.

CourtneyCKCSo funny! These guys are a great team, making every subject funny and finding humor in silly, off the wall topics. No praise too great for this podcast!
-
NorthernboylivingintheUSThese Todgers are the bestFridays and Tuesdays are made better when listening to Eli’s, John and Dave. Whether it’s their very balanced intros, the shame well or random musings, give it a listen. You won’t be disappointed.
-
New Yowk CityHammer LegendsTwice a week you get to hear from the youngest and most relevant voices in the UK, and one of the more superb Daves.
-
alexast1Lovely ChemistryThe 3 have the best chemistry together and I love all of their features - especially made up games!
-
ItsJohnBoneTaste the Vibe! The UK’s best (and youngest) digital DJs and comedians plus Producer Dave. Guests, made up games, petty parliament, shame wells... If you like #content they provide it. Lots lot it. Lovely.
-
123JMcGBest podcast ever.I wish this was a daily podcast. These three are so enjoyable. Such a fun and positive listen.
-
Neko NiteYes PleaseI’ve been listening to E&J since 2014. Their podcasts have made me a better person. John’s candor about his mental health helped me address my own. Elis’ love of Wales has made me support them in international football and discover several excellent musicians. Dave is also an absolute legend. 10/10
-
lelia_eFunny, kind, the perfect escapeThis podcast got me through the pandemic - thank you so much Elis + John

Glen NYFive starsSo dignified!
-
Kid KreindlI want listen to this rubbish!Longtime pcd; love these boys
-
GlenzarBrilliant! Especially Elis. The other guy is ok.I’m a 59 year-old from California. Perhaps not their main demographic, but I’ve focused on comedy from the UK for over 40 years and these 2 are among the best. I honestly do not want to think about what it would have been like going through the the last 4 years that include the pandemic without them. Producer Dave is super as well. Laughs range from gentle smiles to raucous belly laughs. Do give this podcast a go.

Wyoming ListenerThe BestThis podcast is going to make you feel good.
-
Amy1977WonderfulI love these people. Especially Elis because I’m Welsh but live in New York and listening to him makes me feel much less homesick! So funny, bendigedig.
-
MadzBichFavorite thing!!!They’re so funny, my boyfriend introduced me to this podcast and I couldn’t be happier. We listen together on drives and while we’re sunbathing, hilarious men and great topics!!

PCD ViberVibe Tran PCDAs a frequent traveler of the Vibe Train, Elis and John have been the conductor of my podcast playlist. As an old PCD from Radio X and now a current BBC Radio 5 live fan, my devotion never wavered. As a listener from America, I have learned the importance of Session Bevs, the genius of the Four Pillars of Rock and Welsh football. Cheers mates!

SarahswatiRelatable ContentHey there, I would like to say as a part of my 5 star review.... is that I began listening reluctantly after hearing E&J’s promos on BBC 5 live. I live in California, am a stylish 50 something , so am I the demographic? I thought not at first, but I am now such a huge fan that I am ready to buy gig tickets and fly over to watch them perform anywhere in UK. What makes them so unique and hilarious is that the content isn’t age specific but finds the humor in the mundane, the personal, the humiliating and all the rest of the oddity that is human consciousness. Thanks guys and Dave too.

Pat's POLuke Warm Five Star ReviewBelieve me YOU WANT LISTEN TO THIS RUBISH
-
Hed937Content for the younger demographicEllis and John have kept their content relatable for a younger demographic to satisfy all of the stakeholders within Radio 5 live. In doing so they have shown that they can adapt to the strategic challenges of public sector FM radio.
-
Apple-scepticFab as everMore of the same on 5live, love it!
