Michael Close loves magic. He spent many years supporting the S. A. M. as editor of M-U-M and as president. He’s also a very big part of Penn & Teller: Fool Us. When he has something to say, all magicians should listen. His podcast is a delight. I can’t imagine any true magian not enjoying it. My only complaint is that there is too much time between episodes. In a perfect world, he’d have an episode each week. Oh well, we’re fortunate to get the wonderful episodes when we do. As a side note, his newsletter is actually a magazine, with terrific contributors and articles. I can’t praise him enough!

This guy is a great magician, but has little use for those he considers beneath him. As an example, listen to the dickoff with Swiss. It’s amazing these two massive egos didn't clog the internet like a toilet. It’s particularly enlightening to hear them agree that people that don’t agree with them should be put in prison.
