    BEST TENNIS PODCAST EVER!!!
Highly recommend! Advantage Connors was the first tennis podcast I got into—and it's still the best out there. Jimmy Connors is one of my all-time favorite players. I love that he's remained active in the tennis world, sharing his insights and experience. He and Brett do such a great job covering the latest tennis news with a balance of honesty, perspective, and fun. It's always a privilege to hear from a legend like Jimmy and get a glimpse into the mindset of a true champion. Most importantly, the podcast makes my long work drives so much more enjoyable. If you're a tennis fan, make space for this one in your rotation!

    My Favorite Tennis Podcast
For any tennis fan, Advantage Connors is an absolute must-listen. Hosted by the legendary Jimmy Connors and his son, Brett, this podcast offers a perfect blend of insightful commentary on today’s tennis tour, fascinating stories from Jimmy’s remarkable career, and candid discussions about life beyond the court. One of the things that makes this podcast so enjoyable is its balance. Jimmy’s firsthand experiences from his decades at the top of the game provide a rare perspective on how tennis has evolved, while Brett, who has a career in tennis tv production, keeps the conversation fresh and engaging. Their discussions on the current tour are both informative and entertaining, giving listeners an insider’s take on the sport’s biggest names and hottest topics. I never thought as a child that I’d be able to ask him questions about his career one day! Whether you’re a lifelong fan of Jimmy Connors or simply love great sports commentary, or are just getting into tennis, Advantage Connors delivers. Game. Set. Match!

Game, set and podcast win, Connors! :)
My two favorite players growing up were John McEnroe and Yannick Noah, but I don’t think I’d be the passionate tennis fan I remain to this day without Jimmy Connors. He was a must-see attraction every time he took the court. One of my fondest memories was as a high school kid in the mid-1980s and getting tickets to the Transamerica Open at San Francisco’s Cow Palace (shout out to the late, great Barry MacKay!). I got to see McEnroe and Connors play singles matches on the same night and I was hooked on the game forever. I really enjoy Jimmy’s and Brett’s podcast. Jimmy’s commentary is honest, raw and even self-deprecating! But he and Brett always have something interesting to say. I also appreciate the special guests like Danielle Collins, Mike Tyson, Gary Player, etc.. And I want to see more of Connors Kitchen on social media! Great work, boys!

Blast from the past plus current events
I’ve enjoyed this podcast over the years, discovering it within a couple of months of its first release and have listened to every episode as they come out. I’d watched Jimmy play on TV in many majors as we are pretty close in age but I wasn’t able to get to my first US Open until 14 yrs ago. Seeing the major events has really added to the fun. I love the combination of tennis history along with the recent events in tennis and golf. Brett’s active involvement with the Tennis Channel keeps the mix up to date. I very much enjoyed reading the Outsider. As a father of two sons and a daughter, I can also feel the love and respect you have for each other. Keep it up, guys.

    T2 coverage
Great T2 coverage yesterday switching back and forth between the Men’s and Women’s matches. Tauson played lights out, Brett! I didn’t think anybody could outhit your gal, Sabalynka but she did. Saby didn’t lose that match, Clara won it!

    More than nostalgia
I really enjoyed this tennis podcast. I’m not into golf or gambling, two topics the guy seemed to favor. But I’m huge into tennis especially Jimmy’s era. And I also love the close bond between the two. My father passed away several years ago and listening to their very affectionate banter reminds me of my father and me. A very entertaining podcast exclamation point lots of great stories from the old days. And you feel better afterwards. Five stars!

    What Jimmy told me…
I was a top ranked junior at age 12. Jimmy came to our club and held “court” with all the juniors. He looked me in the eye, pointed at me, and then pointed at the PAC Man machine in the break room the summer that PAC Man came out. He told us all “don’t waste time playing video games, get on the court…” I wish I had listened. He was so right. He tried. He cared. He’s a good man.

    Highly entertaining podcast
Love Jimmy and Brett’s mix of tennis and life. Growing up in St Louis I’ve always followed Jimmy throughout his career and I enjoy getting the chance to hear from him every week with the podcast.

    Top Tennis Podcast
Brett and Jimmy are a great listen. I love how they mix tennis analysis with general news topics. I was an occasional listener when they had guests I was interested in, but recently became a subscriber and avid listener, as the content is top notch and not to be missed. Keep up the great work!

    US OPEN COACHING TRIAL
What about the US Open experimenting with coaching during matches for men and women in 2022? It seems unfair - players used to go onto the court with a few rackets and some tennis shoes and it didn’t matter if you were world #1 or a qualifier because anyone could afford basically the same equipment. If coaching is allowed in the future the top ranked wealthy players will be able to bring a world class coach to their matches and junior low ranked players will be lucky to have a coach at all. So the established wealthy players will always have an advantage over the lower ranked players who can’t afford top level coaches with world class experience.

A Great Podcast about a fantastic sports era
Jimmy Connors talks with and about the great sports figures from the great eras in sports. He started in pro tennis when the greatest generation (Laver, Rosewall, Stan Smith, Emerson, King, Court) was peaking and the greater generation (Borg, McEnroe, Lendl, Evert, Navratilova) was emerging. It’s not Connors just talking about himself- it’s about the people who built the modern sports world. The Mike Tyson interview is the best ever about who is was and who he is. Each episode offers up great stories presented from Connors and others who lived them.

    Family matters!
Not like I haven’t heard all this before since they are my dad and brother 😉 but I always love tuning in to hear what their guest bring to the table. Their podcast is definitely enjoyable and worth listening to. And now that I live 3,000 miles away it’s always great to hear their voices. So subscribe now to Advantageconnors!

    Love the banter
Advantage Connors is an awesome podcast. The banter between Jimmy and Brett is entertaining and informative and keeps me up to date on tennis. Always looking forward to the next episode. Keep up the great work guys! Two requests: 1. Do more ‘Connors in the kitchen videos’ 2. Devote a future episode to discussing the doc ‘Guillermo Vilas: Settling the Score’

    Really Entertaining
I love the exchange between the two hosts. They both know the game inside and out and obviously love tennis. Guests are an interesting collection of tennis and non tennis personalities but so far all have been good. Hopefully they will keep this going. I could definitely see a once a week episode being a necessity!

Jimmy was a great player and I was a big fan but his interviewing skills are lacking and the show is not very good. I wish him well and hope it improves.

  • The Counselor III
My two greatest living sports figures of all time (Mr Conners & Mr Player) talking to each other!
What a “get!” Gary Player is a towering leader in the game of golf, just like Jimmy is in tennis. These men are very, very smart and their life advice and attitudes about human freedom shine like a beacon to all the world. Thank you. Bret, Jimmy and Gary, for an epic conversation between two fascinating people.

Very well produced podcast with great topics and insight into what's happening in the world of sports as well as other topics. It's also great that Brett can get Jimmy to open up about some great moments he had that otherwise is hard to do

I’ve been really enjoying the dialogue between Brett and Jimmy. Nice to get thoughts from one of the greatest legends of the game. Having had the pleasure of meeting Jimmy a few years back , I’m not at all surprised at the style and substance of the discussions

This listen makes me feel more connected to a sport I love. As a host, Brett doesn’t shy away from hitting important topics....has opinions but is also objective. Needless to say, Jimmy has legendary experience and insight most people would never have access to. Overall....smart, intriguing, fun entertainment.
