Did you really just say that?
On May 23 episode - the earth is 4.53 Billion years old? Good to know where you stand. If you don’t believe and teach the beginning of the Bible accurately, how can the rest of your teaching be trusted? And my search for a new daily Bible podcast begins.

    Loyal Listener
Can’t remember when I started listening to TMBT but it was before truth over tribe started. Now I feel connected with Patrick and Keith and how they grew their team to include Tanya, Jensen, and Jeff so they could go to five days a week, which was so appreciated by me. Sometimes the show can get a little too anecdotal rather than exegetical, but that’s a personal preference for sure. I’ve already shared with some friends over the years and still would recommend.

    Great Podcast
Mere words cannot describe my appreciation for this podcast. I have become a regular listener to this wonderful podcast. I have recently returned to faith after many years and this podcast has been a big help.

I loved this podcast until they mixed politics and lies in
I’ve been absolutely loving this podcast until I heard them refer to the Ukraine Russia conflict this morning. I was a bit shocked they did. Not only that but in Understanding Revelation episode they stated a complete lie that Russia had detonated a NUCLEAR BOMB back in the 80’s. First of all, back in the 80’s the proper country name was the Soviet Union, secondly, the ONLY country to detonate a NUCLEAR BOMB was the United States of America during WWII in Hiroshima and Nagasaki Japan. Not only are these guys mixing in their political ideology and hatred of the country of Russia into a Christian podcast but they also lie and misrepresent historical facts. Russia is a Christian nation with amazing people living there, and your hatred of it only shows that you misrepresent true Christianity. I thought that your mission was to help Christians grow closer to God, not spread lies about other countries around the world.

You had to go woke didn’t you
No one needs your social justice lecture on a spiritual and biblical podcast. Bye.

Excellent practical commentary! A real gift.
These practical commentary’s are so valuable. They are great for quick daily considerations and an excellent way to begin the day. While sharing the Word, they connect the old World with today. They bring to the forefront the challenges we face now along with those faced throughout history — for all believers. Love it!
  • Mmmcooookiecrisp
    Depends on the day.
I find some of these to be really insightful and well done and measured the way that a Christian response to anything should be and then I find some of them highly judge mental and righteous in an unflattering tone that doesn’t align with Christianity and what Jesus would have to say on the subject. Today’s in particular I found to be presumptive and inappropriate. I absolutely understand the need to review all of the old testament books as well but I’ve been listening for at least a year and it would be great to talk about some of the Gospels on a more regular basis. I listen so that I can set my mind right to walk in Christ throughout the day and sometimes these just make me sad or I find it hard to even make a connection to my own life.

    I’m not a “Bible” Person…
This is a conversation with friends and not a sermon. The Bible is discussed in a way that’s relatable and makes it easier for me to understand and apply to my life. Thank you- I needed this ♥️
  • Jamzzzzzzzzzz
    My favorite podcast!!
I love this podcast and could listen to Patrick and Keith all day!! I have a harder time connecting with Tanya, she seems nice and knowledgable though!
  • d@nnyboy38
    Great!
I was looking for something to listen to to understand the word a little better and this podcast hits the nail on the head!
  • A.G Chacko
Exactly what I needed to hear 😭
A good friend of mine sent me the episode, “Am I really up to the task, God?” I listened to it while I drove home from work. I held back tears as this timely, practical and biblical word created a mental get-away from all of my usual noise— all while speaking so much truth into some of my most vulnerable areas. I haven’t listened to the rest of the episodes, but I plan on it. 🤙🏾
  • Scott Z2
I look forward to longer drives
I began listening about three weeks ago for several reasons, one being to find a positive alternative to the radio programs I would listen to. It is intellectually stimulating in that Keith and Patrick usually discuss at least one thing I disagree with. This confirms I am not in an echo chamber of my own design and also makes me consider why specifically I disagree. Great job guys! - Scott Z

    So Thankful!
I am so thankful for this podcast. The timing is perfect for my 11 minute drive to work. I have been looking for something like this for several years and just happened to run across this podcast a couple of weeks ago. It is exactly what I have been looking for. I am always challenged and encouraged by the Bible passages and messages. Thank you!!!

    Simple man
Just want to thank you guys for addressing issues that we deal with every day, and then putting it into layman’s terms that a simple man like me can understand....Thank you!🙏🏻🌅🛐

I really like your show. However…
It would be nice for you guys to occasionally acknowledge the things that are wrong not just on the left but on the right in our country. I am a white female public school educator for 18 years and try to always have an open mind. Your most recent critique of the LA Times editorial was phenomenally biased, in my opinion. Maybe in addition to making fun of her for her privilege, you guys could comment on some of the atrocities of Trump and his party. You claim to not be a political show, but if you were going to hit the left hard, you need to be fair and hit the right occasionally. I do love your message and will not stop listening to you because I am very open minded but wanted to give you guys some food for thought.

    Please keep making this podcast
My children and I have been listening to this every week - I only wish there were more than two short episodes each week. My youngest is 10 and my oldest is 14, and we have been having such rich conversations from this podcast. It is the first thing my 14-year-old has really connected with for getting into the word and talking about it. He especially loves the longer podcast toward the end of the week and is excited to talk about the topic discussed as a family. I have looked and looked for devotionals for teenagers, and there really isn’t anything of substance. This podcast has really filled that gap for us.

    Good quick insights and discussion
I appreciate how you guys take a concept or story and break it down to make it simple. Thanks for your insights and the way you vulnerably share- keep up the great work!

    Very well said
I highly enjoy every single episode. The hosts are so well spoken it seems scripted(but it’s not). I am entertained, moved, motivated and educated. This is a great ministry here and I would be very sad if they ever stopped recording. My respects to this gentleman

    On my walk to work
Concise, digestible, Biblical, thought-provoking, and relevant! I feel like I can share it with my friends because it feels "mainstream" enough because it's a podcast and it is well thought out. Thanks guys!

Helpful for new and mature Christians
I love this podcast because the content is shareable for both people who are starting to explore Christianity and also people who have been around the church and would say they are more mature in their faith. Always super helpful

Great overview of the chapter with nuggets of wisdom
I love Ten Minute Bible Talks! For some time I have been looking for something to study the Bible with and I found it! All your episodes are awesome. You guys have a gift for extracting great pieces of wisdom on any topic you discuss. But your episodes on the chapters of Samuel are great because through them you guys provide me with an overview of the chapter all while dissecting and uncovering the nuggets of wisdom it has and how we can apply them to our lives. These Ten Minute Bible Talks have helped me be consistent with studying my bible, cause after I hear your 10 min talk, I read the corresponding chapter. Can’t wait to get to the book of Luke. Btw I suffer from GAD and your episode on “3 Ways to Fight Anxiety” was AMAZING. Doing the “What would happen” exercise, followed by recognizing that in the end Jesus is all I need has helped me get a grasp on my anxiety. Because as christians, Christ is really all we should need, but if that is not the case, we have to re-evaluate our relationship with God.

    This Podcast Nails it’s Goal
Patrick and Keith do just what they have set out to do in this podcast. They give great, deep insight into God’s Word in relatively quick digestible bites. I also am a huge fan of their “bonus” episode content. Very relatable, and a humble position on it all.
