This podcast pains me to listen to. As a Spartan alumni, hearing these boys completely unearned arrogance, if nothing else, gives me a bad feeling of the future of MSU. It’s tough, I know they are trying to be funny but they just aren’t.

Best lawn care podcast that I listen to!

I mean this as a compliment but I find this show to have a great pace for nighttime before I go to bed. Second only to couch and the rube. Graham joining the show for the ultimate pre-sleep episode prompted me to write this review. Enjoyed the first 25 minutes and then slept like a baby. Go green.

My favorite podcast every week!

As a state fan who spends all day looking for MSU content, I gotta say I have a hard time even finishing episodes. A lot of weird political talk and a lot of yelling over each other. There is some good in there too just not enough.

If I wanted to hear a bunch of ideologues ranting about social issues, then I'd just listen to MSNBC.

With so much bread and circus out there, Can’t Read, Can’t Write also exists. It is one of my favorite MSU podcasts on either side of the University of Northern South Dakota at Hoople. Week to week, start to finish, Can’t Read, Can’t Write is one big sizzle reel.

Perfect podcast for people who like Michigan State and its athletic department. Really fun and interesting. Please Clap.

Mike Jones is funny

Sports podcasts are a dime a dozen, but Can’t Read Can’t Write is that rare combination of collegial devotion and thirst for approval that delivers a truly unique listening experience. Having spent upwards of two of my 76.1 years on this Earth in the only life I will ever know listening to podcasts, I can honestly say this is the only one I’ve heard where the hosts actually beg their listeners for a positive review. Inspired by a love for their alma mater and the absence of approval by a long lost mentor, Can’t Read Can’t Write takes the chasm left in the wake of childhood abandonment and puts it together in a show that at its very best can be described as fair to middling. The hosts do a competent job fumbling through technical issues and dead air while they get their facts straight on Bing until it’s time for their listeners to bail them out with the Twitter questions segment, ending each show on a note akin to what survivors of a shipwreck must call success as they stare vacantly at each other across the lifeboat in sopping clothes waiting for an uncertain rescue. A great way to fill the empty silence that creeps in as you hurdle through life, ignoring the feeling that you could be doing something better with your time.

Who said a sports podcast couldn’t be successful without any sports? They know their sports, their Spartans and the role sports play within the community at hand. This trio has concocted active listener participation through a fourth dimension in time with their twitter questions segment and made some frenemies along the way.

Big fan of this pod. As not even an MSU fan, I still find each episode thoroughly enjoyable. They go outside Grand River and talk about sports issues throughout the country and being in enlightenment to subjects many might not know about. Not A Sponsors are hysterical. The banter between Grech and Mike is the highlight of the two though. A modern day Mailman and Stockton!

Just when you’ve about given up hope that there is anything redeeming about MSU Football, along comes Can’t Read Can’t Write to restore your faith in humanity. Or if not humanity, at least the ability of a couple of sympathetic diehards to articulate exactly the woe-is-us, handwringingly indefatigable hopefulness that is the hallmark of every true Spartan. Combine Grech’s dry wit and effortless affect with Jones’s dulcet baritone and reckless optimism, and this pod might honestly have it all. So crack open a beer, have a laugh and a cry, and let Can’t Read Can’t Write provide you the solace and confidence you need to keep bleeding Green & White.

As recommended by SamZG, this podcast lives up to the review of truly exceptional. Being a sports based podcast, the fact that aunt Janet fell asleep during the first episode really shows that it’s up to par. 5/5 would recommend to any spartan fan.
