    Incredibly Informative
I found this show a little over a month ago and listen to it daily. These guys do the research, they don’t just retell stories they’ve heard, they dig until they’ve found the most reliable source. I even listen to the stories about artists I don’t care for because it’s always entertaining. Also, the chemistry between these two friends is great. Lots of laughter, which everyone needs in this day and age.

    Endlessly entertaining
Brian n Murdoch have a special chemistry and their enthusiasm, research and talent make for a fantastic podcast about TELLING ROCK N ROLL STORIES!

    Keep Telling Stories!
An intellectual and academic pursuit of juvenile subject matter! I mean that as the highest compliment and I highly recommend this podcast. I appreciate the research…it’s hilarious hearing all these serious, in depth facts about the most off the wall rock n roll stories. And they actually adhere to high levels of journalistic integrity in the process. All genres of music are touched on. I started off listening to artists that interested me or that I was a fan of…but I quickly realized it was entertaining no matter what. Beyond that, these guys thread the needle of genuinely being friends, without making the podcast sound amateurish. This is a professional operation and these are talented guys who play off each other perfectly. I relate a little more to Murdock bc we’re about the same age but he’s also just a naturally funny person.

The greatest podcast about all things rock and roll!!
This is the greatest podcast / show around about rock and roll period. Perhaps one of the most exciting aspects of this show is that just when you think you’ve covered it all, there’s a brand new episode cover all sorts of things that you never heard about - or maybe you did but forgot about - waiting for your listening pleasure. Their research is consistently thorough and the time they put into each episode to get it right is impressive to say the least. I constantly learn about rock and roll each week from listening to Brian and Murdock! I love the love the format. I laugh constantly with them while listening to their discussions, and always feel like I’m part of the conversation. I love this show so much, and you will too! Don’t go to sleep, do not pass go, stop and listen to this show, you will be glad that you did. And then, spread the gospel and tell everyone you know who loves rock and roll to listen to rock and roll bedtime stories!!

So Glad I Discovered This Show
I absolutely love this podcast! A friend introduced it to me a couple of months ago, and it has quickly risen to the top of my queue. I highly recommend it for any music lover.

A weekly must-listen for any music fan
Although the show has “bedtime stories” in the title, there is absolutely nothing here that will put you to sleep. The amount of research these guys do into every weeks episode is astounding. I guarantee that even if you are a music history junkie, you will learn new things every week. Brian and Murdock are excellent co-hosts, playing off each other while splitting the story telling in a very cohesive way.

    Love it!
I am having so much fun listening to these stories and this podcast. I’m not going in any order, just jumping all over but so far the Boy George episode and the Go-Gos were wild!

    Depends on the subject matter.
When they keep it to the music it’s informative and interesting… when the delve into politics it gets pretty irritating. They don’t go there often but definitely have strong opinions. Not sure why you’d want to piss off half your audience but to each there own.

    Super Fan in the making…
This is the exact podcast content I have been searching for, but could not have described. Easy to listen to, funny, and timeless stories of music legends…and interesting associates. I have long had a super fan dedication to musicians, and this podcast is a perfect compliment. Mixing in the song clips with the stories is the magic I “could” do when reading an article, but just don’t. It’s an outstanding way to end the day!

    OUTSTANDING PODCAST
This is one of, if not the best, music podcasts I ever listen to! Fun, entertaining and informative! The hosts are great and know what they’re talking about. You won’t be disappointed!

    Addictive Podcast for Music Lovers
I haven’t stopped listening to this podcast since I discovered it a few days ago. The guys research their topics and then they turn it into a story that isn’t fake or scripted. It feels like they are in the same room and the listener feels as though they are with them and part of the conversation. An avid music lover, I am thrilled to find this podcast.

    Too entertaining for bedtime
I was looking for a podcast to help me drift off to sleep. This isn't it. They keep me awake because these guys are funny and the stories are interesting. So now I listen when I am Cleaning the kitchen or doing something like that. Good vibes with these guys.

    Great show!
We love this podcast. The hosts are hilarious and have some great insights on music. Always look forward to the new show. Even better when they get off topic.

    Fun show
The only thing keeping this from 5 stars is how often the guys get way off subject. It’s a fun show. If you’re a huge music fan you aren’t learning anything new. This is a good time show with funny hosts. I enjoy it.

    Fun Music History Show
I dig it fellas. Was looking for something just like this. Way to come through. The guys have great voices and provide interesting commentary. Keep em coming.

    George Jones
Sounds like they are eating during the show. Background noises so distracting.
  • FrankTampa
    Lame
The hosts pick two artists to compare, they pre-determine which one is good and then trash the other. They use fake facts, opinion, and half truths that they distort to bash one and praise the other. Don’t waste your time on this podcast.
  • Stay away if you can
    Transcript?
I learned a lot about the Beatles & Clapton by staying with this podcast, but nearly turned it off several times. For me, the hosts were so annoying that it nearly won out over the amazing content. Is there a transcript? I’d gladly read the other episodes but am afraid I can’t bear to hear the smarmy attitude of either of these guys again.
