M. LinkerFantasticSuch a fun podcast for Billy Joel fans, especially for those who grew up with him and can really appreciate the nostalgia. And it’s so enjoyable learning new things, and hearing new (old) audio of concerts, awards shows, sound checks and interviews. It’s like going in a time machine. Such wonderful escapism from our troubled times. Thank you both so much for putting this together. I know it’s a ton of work, but it is deeply appreciated and enjoyed by many! I look forward to it every other week!

c#niyeAngry Young Men!Naw, these guys are very thoughtful about this showand demonstrate a veteran musicianship that shines through in their analysis of albums and concerts! This pod is accessible to any fan of popular music. The creators love Billy Joel, and it shows. If you love Billy Joel, show your love and tune in!

loryrayGreat podcast.Great job with the podcast especially Richie C interview. I wished you asked why he left the band at the height of their success. Also there was nothing discussed about Doug stegmeyer. It was nice the hear there is an audio book out now of liberty’s book. Keep up the good work Andy in Taylor Pa.

RickRockRadioNo Strangers to the Streelife Seranading! These guys have been doing their Billy Joel homework for many years. So, based on the prior knowledge of everything Joel, they re-watch, re-listen, and re-review so much of the work of Billy Joel. It’s an excellent podcast! It’s like, “Everybody we knew in our whole lives are talking here …” These guys are great. Glass Houses - A Billy Joel Podcast is a great listen. Truly, it’s like I’m part of a conversation but I can’t ever say anything. They explore all things Billy Joel related, and many times it’s thoughts I’ve had or conversations I’ve had with others. They might even sneak in some interesting trivia now and then. Just hearing their stories of different concerts, re-listening to songs and albums years later, or just enjoying Live on Long Island all over again. It’s a top-notch, first rate podcast that I look forward to. You should check it out, even if you’re just a casual Billy Joel fan. Great work!

TgambeeIt’s hard to do what they do.The thing I admire most about this podcast is that the two hosts have an incredible amount of knowledge and talent in their own right, but they approach this as true fans who are humble and fun to listen to. Keep it up!

Judge TimbersEverybody Should Love This Podcast NowI grew up on Long Island in the 1970’s with the music of Billy Joel seared into the fabric of my life. This podcast admirably and faithfully explores Billy’s genius over the span of his lengthy career. Rather than using a simple chronological approach, the dual hosts present Billy’s work in a more interesting topical and thematic fashion. And for once, this is a podcast I joined from the beginning, so I anxiously await the release of each new episode. Thank you for this high quality production.

Johnny 8-BitA Tribute That's Full of HeartThe thing with a podcast focusing on an artist like Billy Joel is that there are so many ways to approach it. Albums. Eras. Bands. Origin/Influences. So far, Michael and Jack have not stuck to a single approach, a sure sign that this show has the potential longevity. Here's hoping that they are able to continue this series "for the longest time."

Real_Bobby_CAlways something newBeing from Long Island and a fan since the late 70’s with 20+ live concerts under by belt I am always amazed that I learn something new about Billy, his band, albums and shows listening to this podcast. Highly recommend!

TheTrumbsSmart passionate podcastersI don’t listen to many podcasts. My friend suggested I listen to this. Five minutes in, I was hooked. Things Michael and Jack say, I think, “yes!!! This is how I feel about him!” What a breath of fresh air. Their commentary about Billy Joel has brought back a thousand memories and feelings I’ve had for him since I’ve been 11. It’s because of Billy Joel that I love music as much as I do. I can’t wait for more episodes. I’d give this 6 stars if it were an option.
