Probably the only watch media that hasn’t been bought
In a sea of watch podcasts that self-censor for fear of pissing off the brands, this podcast is truly refreshing. Love the honesty in these discussions — nothing about them is performative so it is a nice window into what the real watch community is talking about amongst themselves. As a result, there are a lot of valuable insights to glean from these episodes no matter what level of watch collector you are.

Best watch podcast out there - UNDERRATED
Fifth Wrist is incredibly entertaining and also very informative. It is an international variety show with lots of different hosts, each with their own theme. Most watch podcasts are super boring, constantly shining the knob of Rolex/Patek/AP/Swatch Group — instead Fifth Wrist shines a light on the rich world of independent watch producers, though the majors are still making appearances too of course. It’s refreshing to hear from actual watchmakers and deeply knowledgeable enthusiasts that actually have personality and willing to be critical of brands big and small, instead of New York hipsters shilling basically paid content masquerading as independent journalism.

Love 5th Wrist… w/ special mention for Independent Thinking
The Fifth Wrist podcast group really offers something for everyone. In particular I really enjoy Roman’s Independent Thinking podcast. This podcast easily ranks as one of the best, if not THE best podcast relating to Independent Watchmaking & Horology. The list of guests Roman has interviewed are the heaviest hitters in the industry from which I have learned a great deal and for that I rate his podcast 5 out of 5 Gin & Tonics.

Finally got two hours to listen to you guys
Fun group, informative and knowing Roman & Rob, it was brilliant hearing the banter between all of you. This was the grails one with Dane who came on as a surprise guest. Independent Watchmaking is the way forward and you guys are doing a tremendous job of opening peoples eyes to another area of horology. Of course I’m biased, but keep up the great work. Cheers, Tim
