    This is full of great insights. I wish there were newer episodes that adapted some of these ideas to an increasingly remote world. I’d also love an audiobook version of the book. Even without these elements, there is a lot to gain from this podcast.

    Gave me a career
    I started listening to this podcast as someone who just generally likes learning about managing and relationship building. What I didn’t realize was that over the course of listening to Fred & John joke and poke fun at one another, I’d fall in love with the idea of becoming an Account Manager. Started applying for AM positions a few weeks after listening to the podcast and picked up the book (which is also fantastic) after I’d run through all of the episodes. Last week I accepted an offer to be a real deal account manager where the things that I learned in this podcast came true minute after minute. Thank you both so much for taking your time to do this right. Also Atlanta-based, maybe we’ll be across the table from one another some day.

    More than worth your time to listen
    I really enjoy listening to this podcast. John & Fred feed off one another very well & keep the conversation lively. For some, Account Management, may seem a boring topic, but if you find yourself in the role, or having anything to do with client management, then listening (& taking notes) is worth your time. John & Fred do a great job of breaking things down into simple action items to move on. I really enjoy when they share real-world stories from their own work experiences to reinforce their messages. Great podcast by two real subject matter experts on the role of Account Management.

    I’m an individual that as run marketing teams for over 8 years and a year ago I was also handed an account management team to oversee in addition to the marketing team. Recently I feel I’ve missed the mark with the account management team and found this podcast as a result of looking for ways to “restart and revamp” how I manage this team. This podcast gave me a few specific actionable things to do as I embark on this “refresh”. Wondering how consistent the episodes are going to be though once I listen through all of the existing episodes.
