Stephanie is able to create such a thrilling and deep narratve, while still respectfully detailing cases in analytical, serious and unbiased manner. It's so refreshing. The banter between her and her busband is great, he often asks the same questions that I have, and keeps the podcast engaging. You can seriously see how much effort they put into researching every aspect of a case, even going into minute cultural details of foreign cases to ensure all listeners understand. This is undoubtely my favorite podcast. Love you Stephanie and Mister Mango Butt!!

I just started this podcast today and I’m already hooked great host !!!

I for sure have a true crime obsession, and may be a little jaded. But Stephanie and her husband have a grip on me! She’s excellent at getting the dirty little details that others leave out, and so personable at the same time. I enjoy the YouTube videos just as much. 🫶🏼

it’s insane how much i love this show. the tasteful world building, heavy description, and relevant cases tie it all together. it’s an amazing early morning or late night listen, and is an amazing background noise too. honestly: i feel like i am so much more careful and aware after listening to each episode.

I LOVE this podcast!!!!! She always just makes you completely focused and obsessed with each case in every single episode.

I absolutely love this podcast! She has such talent! Her husband seems to ask the questions that I’ve just been thinking . The way she re-tells the stories is so amazing and definitely keeps you wanting to hear the entire story. Great Teamwork!

I love this pod & been listening for years. I love how it’s stories outside the US and dif cultures rather than the popular US ones. One episode was super confusing because I thought it was all one story but it was 2 and i was thrown off so It’s better when it’s just one story. But love her. Top tier content. <3

All of the haters and negative reviews don’t understand why it’s important to cover and talk about these topics and news that goes around the world. I think what you’re doing is amazing by making sure you try and get the correct information.

Meh. Annoying-voiced woman tells stories she's not actually qualified to tell, frequently gets facts wrong or exaggerates for dramatic effect, and throws tantrums if anyone dares to question her. Wouldn't listen if you paid me.

09/10- last case was another old case you’re retelling. How boringgg. How many times you gonna retell old cases you’ve already done? Get some inspiration. Also unnecessary details - 9/16 case you spent 20 min talking about Chinese zodiac signs

She makes sure she gets the correct information and makes the smallest and biggest details known unlike some true crime podcasters

Love the stories and your passion while telling them…but they can become too long…too many unnecessary details that sometimeshave nothing to do with the story…makes me lose focus

I love love love Stephanie. I’m subscribed to all 3 shows. the only thing I dislike is all these crimes on children !!! I can listen to crimes from adults any day but the kids it’s too much. I notice this year you have done more than usual. Keep going though. Thank you for the amazing podcast.

I’m a huge podcast listener and very selective about what I listen to. I found this podcast randomly and ever since, it’s been my very favorite and go-to show all the time. Always listen in the morning and before bed/falling asleep. It’s perfect. I love that Stephanie has her super supportive yet anonymous husband on the show with her. 😍 it’s honestly so cute! She has great storytelling skills, and the content is always interesting, never dull or boring. 😊

I never write reviews but I think it is important for me to share this. I have never loved something so much in my life to the point that I have heard every single episode and YouTube video of Stephanie in 2 months. I feel like a just her voice makes me incredibly happy. I am survivor from Venezuela and I have many triggers but I love how she gives trigger warnings and seriously has so much care for minorities. I hope I get to be like Stephanie one day. She is so kind and sweet that she makes want to be the best version of myself just because I know that there are more people in this world as good as her. Ironically, she makes me have hope and she gets so involved with every case it is awesome to listen to. Thank you for being my role model and keep doing you!

The skill Stephanie has of story telling it’s absolutely at its peak. Her episodes are well researched with so much love and care. Like you can tell their team really, TRULY care to not only get the story right but to always be respectful.

First time listening to podcast about SA case of husband who got 72 men to SA his wife. To hear a man’s reactions like “ohhh” “wooo” out of nowhere especially on a topic like this was SOOOO creepy! It almost sounded like sounds of pleasure it really startled and triggered me. Idk why you would need his ooohs and ashs in a story like this. I suggest removing his voice in all stories where the man is the perpetrator

A few reviews on this are from kids but is this content appropriate for them? Do you intentionally use the terms “R word” and “SA” to avoid the explicit label on the episodes? Adults know what those abbreviations mean but kids probably don’t which seems to be why you use them. Good podcast but definitely not for kids regardless of censoring certain words.

Cannot get past that alone

I love this podcast, but there is no reason to say SA for sexual assault. Say sexual assault, say rape. That is what has happened to these women and the only ears that are sensitive to those words, are men.

These stories are too gruesome. You can do true crime without constantly taking about SA and children. It’s to the point where I can’t even listen anymore.

I think that Rotten Mango is an amazing podcasts aside from the fact that a lot of the episodes have been choppy and cutting off some sentences for example (Not in any actual episodes just made up!) “And in court, none of them were cha-“ Instead of saying “and in court, none of them were actually charged with any murder charges” Then they just skips on like five seconds later. Aside from that Rotten Mango is an amazing podcast to binge listen thank you so much Stephanie and I don’t know the name of your husband so I’m gonna say and your cohost!

I like how you explain the crimes, and how you open and close the episodes, I also love the crimes you do.

I used to like listening to interesting true crime stories but now the stuff she covers is just disturbing and feels like torture porn. How can you make money off telling the story of a a child being raped to death. Please stop and think about what types of content you share.

This might be a bit too much to write but I had an ex-boyfriend who I caught in a website such as this. It was more of a chat room. They asked other locals to upload pictures/videos and sexual experiences they had with these women, encouraging others to get more, providing details about them and this website was majority local people. Some which I knew! One was a friend, another a cousin (who was LEO) People of titles, etc. My ex was a cop. We “dated” for 8 years and I had a 12 year old daughter at the time (now 17). So I broke up with him. You think you know a person!

Enjoy the podcast for the *most part but the titles are too shock factor-y. Maybe reevaluate your style for choosing titles and keep in mind these are real people who have been murdered. This aspect by itself outweighs the excitement from a title with shock factor.

It doesn’t make sense the mother killing the baby. So maybe she is protecting one of her children.

I’m addicted to the way the stories are told. And I love it whenever her hubby got surprised by the plot twist and goes “WHAT!?!?!”

Stephanie and her team are so dedicated. They bring awareness to so many situation. Her story telling is phenomenal. Never a dull moment with her!!

You’re the reason I can get though my corporate job everyday!
