@Forbin777Great showAlthough I found this show only a year or so ago, I quickly got hooked. For anyone that wants to hear the story behind the show, or even gain new perspective on classics we all know, this is perfect. With guests that include everyone from “Phish Famous” folks to the ordinary fan, Brian is doing amazing things to record and preserve the oral history of the phenomenon that is Phish.

Match PenaltyWARNING: This podcast is ADDICTIVE!!Brian does a great job sharing his enthusiasm for the band and setting his guests up to shine and share great memories they have of shows and specific songs. The episodes can’t come fast enough. Even the most knowledgeable of Phish fans will learn something from these episodes.

SNTBHNReally enjoyedI recently met Brian and he told me about his podcast. I love hearing a great story. My favorite episode was father and son, Bobby & Oliver. So cool that they can enjoy Phish music together. Thanks Brian for bringing Phish fans together.

DollarBillStadGreat show!Brian is super fun to talk with about all things Phish! I had a great time on the show and would recommend subscribing to this podcast and, or telling one of your favorite stories to add to the growing list of excellent episodes! Top notch production and content. I thoroughly enjoyed the fact check section at the end of the episode.

Headlamp DerekGreat show. Couple correctionsI just listened to your episode about 10/26/10 which is my favorite show ever. It was my first time listening to the podcast. I specifically started there cause I love that show so much. Near the beginning you were talking about the double tweezer reprise encore from Hartford and said that phish played it 3 times in one show. That’s a little exaggerated. They did play it twice for that encore. And then just something I want to point out is neither of you mentioned that 10/26/10 is the band’s 1500th show. That seems like a pretty important piece of information I’d include in a podcast about a particular show. I’m not trying to sound like a jerk. I’m just really into this band as well, and I think we should be very precise with our statistics. I’d love to be on the attendance bias pod sometime and talk phish with you. Reach out. Wonderful show my friend! Thank you. ✌🏽

dinoboy71010This is really goodI just started listening to Phish so I stumbled onto this podcast.

SDCAdamThere *WAS* a gag at 12/31/97!In you’re 12/29/97 episode (best show ever!) you stated that there was no gag at New Year’s 97 beyond Trey talking about the utterball during 12/30’s Harpua. There, in fact, was an inverted dome, or egg, hanging from the ceiling projecting images throughout the first two sets, including the utterball, olive loaf, and other objects from the Harpua story. At midnight, the egg “hatched” and balloons came out. You can see the egg hatching in a scene from ‘Bittersweet Motel’.

Clome42Good ShowOver the years I have had several roommates who are huge Phish fans and although the band has never fully drawn me in, I really appreciate the passion and love that these fans have for their favorite band. The stories on this show are pretty great and it’s a great collection of guests!

Rachael WesleyGreat For Dog WalksI always look forward to my Wednesday dog walk, as I know I’ll have a new episode to listen to. I listened to Attendance Bias loyally before I even knew Brian, as I love how he gave women within our community a voice. Now that I’m friends with Brian I like it even more. Great questions and stories combined with our favorite music. Talk about a win win!

127392393Long Island nativeLoved this!!!! What a grate trip down memory lane - Prime Cuts was a haven for LI heads ‘86-‘92 +/- A deadhead by nature - first show MSG 9/5/79 - saw 119 GD shows ‘79-‘95 predominantly east coast. Add JGB shows and tack on another 31 shows with Jerry my first JGB show being 2/14/81 at the Calderone Concert Hall in Hempstead - I grew up in Massapequa (Home of All American) - First time seeing Phish was the H.O.R.D.E festival 1992 @ Jones Beach & less than two weeks later opening for Santana also at JB - been a fan ever since - I was the District Manager for Sam Goody Music Stores (LI, Staten Island, Queens & Bklyn) for 10 years but still gravitated towards small indie shops - this episode brought back SO many wonderful memories- THANKS!!!!!

NighmanLove this! Not super into podcasts but I really love attendance bias! I could listen to knowledge fans rapping about great old shows all day long. As much as I love the discussion of the shows themselves, I really dig hearing the context of where people were at the time and how they got into phish etc. keep up the great work and can’t wait to get my own episode one day haha. @_dennis_system

phishcowboys12/11/99Great flow and listenabilitly! The 12/11/99 show episode was my first time listening and found it to be quality info mixed with a little humor, extensive knowledge, and passion for a great band playing a stellar show. The host allows the guest more time to talk than i expected, which was refreshing! And the hosts voice is perfect for settling in for an hour of discussion. The guests voice was as well. Idk if that's the case on all the eps, prob not cuz most of us don't have great speaking voices and can repeat uhs, huhs, and other annoyances but i heard none of that. Thanks for your work Mr Weinstein! I'll be listening to 11/2/18 next! A fav from 3.0.
-
Kinda PhishyFun listenLove the show! Interesting guests and perspectives on Phish. Good for the soul!

Moshe ZarembaThe podcast every phan needs to hearI only got around to seeing the boys summer 2019, and this just makes me want to see them again so much more. Hearing phans talk about jams that I listen to so much during my commute makes my day. Thanks so much for starting this Brian and I look forward to next week’s episode!
-
EducateFrightGreat fun for phans! You get to listen to phans dissect jams, share their memories of attending shows, and discuss the larger impact of the band’s music. It’s really well done, Brian is a professional, gracious, and eloquent host. Highly recommended!
